Here's another Hell and Hell

No guns. he used a strait forward attack method powerful, but he needed to use items, still he finished the game in HELL and HELL mode.

Vergil's pattern in DmC are quite predictable and his dopple copy doesn't attack unless he attacks.

Also on what I posted the guy died in one hit and needed to use the life recover item.

You'll notice in one part of the video I posted Vorgil himself didn't do a damn thing when the player attacked the doppelganger instead.

In addition, it has also become quite obvious that the lack of lock-on function is seriously affecting the gameplay in fights like these.

^speaking of that I'll check on my friend that bought this game(xbox360) on the weekend again for a get together gaming. Gonna ask if he encountered any glitches if he's still playing it and if he wants to replay it.

What do you guys think the most important part of the formula for a successful Devil May Cry game is?

I wonder if anyone's noticed that NT's design for combat isn't for a hack'n slash game.

The combat. Period. Everything else is secondary. Tight, responsive, fluid, fast, deep and challenging over the top combat. Coupled with awesome bosses and an iconic character. It's the combat and character that brings people back to DMC 3 after 7 years or even DMC 1 after 12 years.

If the gameplay isn't right it failed as a DMC.

EDIT: Video sums it up nicely.

The winning formula? Make sure that if you're going to fill someone's dark soul with light, take a throat lozenge before declaring it. If that doesn't work, just get Reuben Langdon to do your game for ya, that'll help.

No. It's a decent action game that much I give it. But it's not a good DMC. It's inferior to DMC 3/4 gameplay wise in almost every aspect and sacrificed an iconic and likeable character. Yeah it's better than that piece of turd DMC 2 but that's really a low bar.

This embarrassing shit is the very reason why every complaint about DmC gets reduced to "lol it's about the hair". It's no wonder no one takes DMC vets serious.

I know people are angry but come on now, smh.

Hell no.
It's a platforming adventure game with a simple combat system.
A true DMC is with deph when it comes to combat hack and slash DMC3 and DMC4 set the benchmark.

Also this is a Devil Trigger

If there are 10,000 haters of this game sign the petition now. lol

For me the best way is to inform the people around you word for mouth on what is happening on the latest game in's and outs and you as yourself don't buy it if you dislike a game or any certain game.

I just don't play the game and tell people about it's faults. I still tell them that they should get the game if they really want it but I've given them fair warning.

As much as I want DmC to bomb, I actually hope it does well too. Some people who just happen to work on the project and don't want anything to do with messing with the fanbase might be involved and maybe they might suffer from the flop as well if it ever does flop. Thus far I can only imagine DmC making it as big as DMC2 so I can't see how petition is useful at all.

Jackpot.

DMC2 didn't have it, and neither does this new entry.
