Some say I'm the Reverse

Just finished building Chobi's 1/144 Shiranui Second, and...it looks to be taller than the 1/144 Yui Takemi. I'm guessing it's because the feet are thicker on the Shiranui (1/144 Takemi feet are one single foot piece, the Shiranui's in parts like a boot assembly). Anyone who owns the non-scale Takemi and Shiranui or A3 can tell me if this is the case (eg that the Takemi is taller than the Shiranui and it's just my build that screwed up)? Or is the Shiranui Second really supposed to be taller than the Takemi?

OK, so it IS smaller. I've read the heights on the wiki previously, but thought the extra 0.4m on the Shiranui/Shiranui Second was purely the antenna being longer, not actual head height. At least this means I don't have to take my Yui Takemi apart and work out some height increase mod (whew).
It now makes me wonder what small-size TSFs (F16, MiG29 et al) would look like in comparison, since the F-18 Super Hornet looks to be as tall as the Shiranuis.

That's why they're non-scale.
I have A3 MiG-29 and F-16, and both of them are taller than the Shiranui/Takemi. Shortest one is the Strike Eagle, while the tallest ones are the Su-27/37, F-14 and Raptor. The Takemi being the first to be released will always be the shortest. It is unknown how seriously Kouki treats his disclosed TSF heights as most of them lack it. |

That's the problem with Muv-Luv non scales, and the fact that Kouki probably didn't take the heights seriously enough.
The early releases such as Takemi, Shiranui and Eagle are the worst offenders in terms of scale and articulation, and sculpt as well for the Eagle. Starting from the Su-37, Fubuki and Raptor, they become better, except for the light TSFs for not being smaller. Okay, the Su-47 has a listed height of 19 to 21.7m, while the Eagle is 18m. We will have to see how the 1/144 line will reflect this. Shiranuis are listed as 19.7. Try comparing your 1/144 Eagle with the Shiranui series. |

PZX1 was the one that Cryska clone Matika piloted and fought against Yuuya in his Phase 3. In the dialogue it only mentioned PZ and that it might also have stealth, I'll need check the script again.
I think the PZ only appeared in two scenes. |
