-Kasumi and Izumi's unique magic seems to be 'Twincast' like in some Final Fantasy games, where if they cast the same kind of spells it's greatly amplified and they have greater control than if they casted it with only one of them. It's one of their trump cards, and obviously Tatsuya knows about it.

-The prototype Stellar Furnace was created with no problems, with the members involved being the Student Council members + Kasumi + Kent Smith. The teacher from the Thesis competition is again their supervisor. The available parts here stopped at the day before the politician will be visiting.

-Honoka gave Tatsuya a birthday gift. Miyuki Tsun'd hard. Shizuku offered to hold a party for Tatsuya at her place at the coming Sunday at 6pm as well, and Tatsuya agreed. Kasumi was surprised at how popular Tatsuya is with the ladies (this may or may not be a flag raised with her )
-Miyuki dragged Tatsuya off after school for some private time going shopping as she was jealous that Honoka managed to hand her gift over first. To the point she was distracted and added sugar into her cup of tea 12 times and vehemently denied this point when Tatsuya asked After shopping was over, the siblings got back and it turned out Miyuki was stalling for time so Sakurai can make the birthday feast.

Later that night, Tatsuya opened Honoka's gift - it was a expensive pocketwatch, made by Shizuku's family's company. There was a space there for Tatsuya to put in a photo of some kind, and Tatsuya guessed it was likely Shizuku would have included a picture of Honoka there if Honoka didn't vehemently decline as it was too embarrassing.

Then, Miyuki knocked on the door and asking to come in, Tatsuya opened the door, and found Miyuki dressed up in her formal gown as the illustration earlier showed. He was stunned to the point of jaw-dropping and was moved by Miyuki's beauty (FLAWLESS VICTORY people, game over, time to go home).

Ahem. Shipping moment aside, Miyuki is here to be able to celebrate Tatsuya's birthday with some alone time, even if being able to have others care about Tatsuya is a good thing. Miyuki gave her request demurely, and in response Tatsuya caressed Miyuki's face gently; the two of them gazed into each others' eyes, with Miyuki's eyes glistening somewhat. Eventually Miyuki turned her head away so Tatsuya won't feel her face burning up (Fine, the shipping moment is NOT over, my bad =P). Tatsuya then opened the bottle of non-alcoholic champagne, and the two of them shared the bottle.

As a side note, Miyuki gave Tatsuya a well-decorated pendant with the cover picture of stars, sun and moon. Inside the pendant was a picture of Miyuki in her fancy gown. Tatsuya later spent over a hour trying to guess what Miyuki was trying to tell him with this gift

Seeing their comrades disappear one after the other, the invading troops experience the same disconcerting mockery of reality.

The instinctive fear which should have arisen from the sight of violent death was not stimulated, and despite being eaten away by unutterable fears surrender did not cross their mind.
