This is my first post to this place, I don't really post at all anywhere so forgive any lameness. But I have something interesting that isn't a flaming pile. A buddy I grew up with is an attorney in CA. Not the OJ kind, but he handles licensing and international type stuff. Speaking on the phone, he told me about an import deal currently being passed through his office regarding berserk licensing, renegotiations on fees and stuff like that. Royalty BS was mainly what he was talking about but in the writing he saw something quite odd. There was talk of royalty increases for future funding of projects in place. Some legal jargon that I can't pass word for word. But basically in normal person language the only time there is rerating of royaly points is when something is in the works to be developed. So to shift 5 points of royalty cash from party A to party B for creative development would mean things are in the works to create it. Be warned, even with this change in legal language it could be a few years before enough revenue stream has been channeled to have a full blown product. I thought it was cool to hear. Lawyers usually suck, but I am glad I am friends with this one.

Um, no I wouldn't think so because the media medium was labeled TELEVISION / FILM / ANIMATION / OTHER. I asked that too, I was very curious.

Meh.........rumors regarding the second season of Berserk have been myriad on the net for years. I shall remain skeptical until I actually see a finished product at this point.

I don't blame ya one bit! I would be too. Like I said though, it could take a couple of years just get together the cash to even begin the whole animation process, couple that with voice acting, distribution, not to mention any other factors we can't even begin to fathom we could be waiting till we are all grey. Which would be a shameful waste of great anime.

well when writing legal jargon it is best to cover everything as much as possible, so even though the legal jargon would contain stuff like future seasons, it doesn't mean it will be done (but just in case it is the legal jargon will cover it too)

I need to know if anyone happens to know if there will be a second season of Hellsing? what about Berserk? and at the same time how many episodes just are there of Berserk? I've just been getting mixed messages.

The ending made in the anime serie gives to may questions unanswered ^^

Almost certainly there will be no more anime of Berserk.

The story is continued in the manga, so go read that.

It's been rumoured for ages now, but nothings come to light. Transfering it to TV would be very hard, as the manga contains even more violence/nudity etc that it did. So to be honest, I'd love to see a new Berserk anime, but I ain't got my hopes up...

i know i keep hearing rumors that there coming out with another one but it never happens

the last couple of episodes really freaked me out though
very weird

i dont really wanna read the manga
i heard that theres another character in it
that would just mentally screw my image of it up
