Too bad we're not going to get it, unless a PC release is planned.

I don't care about it, either way.
The CG and OP are meh.
The story looks twisted and poorly formed in comparison to original.

In all fairness Gundam might be right but yeah I dont exactly have high hopes for the thing either XD, I am glad that I'll know what on earth is going on in the 360 game without having to play it to find out why
Spoiler for Trailer:
at the same time though I was looking forward to the manga being rather good so I hope it somehow manages to stay that way

Well, I'm not saying that I think the remake is going to be good. Right now, my thoughts are basically the same ones I had regarding what I was thinking about Code_18 before it was released: "I want to believe it'll be good. I have no evidence to back this with, but I stilll hope this can be good." So I'm not blindly thinking that this will be good, but rather that I'm hoping it'll be good more than anything.

Sure I guess that works, Im probably going to pull a double standard here and find a way to like the manga but damn the video game for the same reasons, plus I dont speak japanese so unless we somehow get a release here I dont have to worry about getting it anyway xD

I was looking at Takumi Nakazawa's comments again, and there was a question asked by one of the commenters, who asked him "What is your definition of the Infinity series"? During Nakazawa's answers, he explained that he had several ground rules that he placed during the creation of each Infinity game. They are as follows (note, the following contains vague spoilers for the entire Infinity series (in that they basically plot elements), but any N7 spoilers are too vague to be understood).

Spoiler for Nakazawa's Rules (leads to end-game spoilers for E17 and R11, with very minor spoilers for N7):

And here's what he considers to be his "minor" rules (he even tells the commenter to "please consider these half a joke.").

Spoiler for Nakazawa's Minor Rules:

999 is pretty "occult" though.

Nakazawa didn't write 999, nor did he have any involvement with it. That was all Uchikoshi.

I count thirteen (Eleven major and two minors broken). It also breaks another one in the PSP version, but it's not broken in the Xbox 360 version (I had the PSP version, mind you).

Thats interesting, there was an actual specific way to play ever 17 then? Now I'm curious as to what that order was supposd to be... to the internet! Tsugumi Sora You Sara Coco? Thats hilarious because I did the exact opposite XD. (Save Coco of course) And I definetly liked it just fine because I was under the impression that I was going from worst to best endings, I guess the other way would hook the viewer though

It had to be this way, otherwise the other paths would feel empty when compared to Coco's epic path.

Don't forget, you know, incomprehensible.

To be fair, I did Tsugumi-You-Sora-Sara. While I intend to play the Xbox 360 remake as Tsugumi-Sora-You-Sara, I would say that I was good with my route order as well, as it was nice to have You's Route as a contrast to Tsugumi's Route, and to be able to notice the inconsistencies when I played Sora's Route.

Meh, it seems they always change things that weren't originally meant to be on the final route.
Happens on many VNs. Maybe having 2 "Kids" will change dat kick the can weird scene.

I count that it used eight of them. However, these are the rules for the Infinity series, not I/O (since I/O isn't an Infinity game, the rules don't apply to its creation).

On a completely different note, shouldnt Tsugumi stop aging pretty soon? All I remember is that I was slightly older and Im getting to 18 so that should be soon eh? Or did it already happen?

Tsugumi stopped aging in August 2010.
