Riots in Canada?
CANADA? That must consist of pie-throwing and midly verbal insults thrown in both English and French for an hour, and they all go home to eat homemade meals.

You must not have seen what happened the last time Canada lost a hockey game!
Mmm, and it's almost a year to the day since they lost the last Stanley Cup, and this one to a team even lower ranked than last years? (NFI about Hockey)

^Oh wow, haha, no I had not seen that.
http://news.livedoor.com/article/detail/6649560/ Journalist for TV Asashi (yes, another usual suspect) who has degraded otaku in general, came out to say "they need to investigate if this murder had any connection to otaku culture there, considering the scene of crime was close to Nipponbashi." Nipponbashi is Osaka's Akihabara. Otaku town. Fact 1: The scene of crime is nowhere CLOSE to Nipponbashi, completely other side of city. Fact 2: The deranged killer was a Jr High dropout and a biker gang leader with tattoos, who was arrested on numerous account for burglary, rape, and possession of narcotics. He was released from prison just weeks ago from his last prison term. A complete opposite of an otaku. Fact 3: This journalist "Akihiro Otani", a 66 years old journalist for Asahi, wrongly accused otaku communities to be criminals in the past with completely delusional "proof" for his theories on his show. One of the victim was a music producer for video game and anime, working for Nitro+. That's basically the ONLY connection this incident has to the otaku culture.

Sounds like the prosecutors for that Norwegian mass murderer parading that he played "violent video games" ... or the incessant noise we get in the US where millions of people play games, watch anime --- and yet do just fine.
It must be something innately human to so fail at connecting the right dots.... either that or they just like finding witches to burn.

People love scapegoats. It lets them blame something that isn't themselves or anything they are involved with easily, thus they can take the moral high road and feel all self-righteous about themselves.

He's jumping the gun before there's even smoke. There's NOTHING there. I mean, it's way worse than when he labeled all otaku to be criminals when an ontaku commited murder of a child. This time there's zero relevance. It's like if a street gang from Mexico killed someone here, and suddenly video games are brought to the table, when the killer doesn't even play one. There aren't even dots there to connect in the first place!

Right, there's a capital letter of A. Nothing else they can decypher from the page, yet to the person... who is already on the agenda to prove HIS point, is a substantial evidence.
Uh-huh. Sensationalism Journalism at its worst.

Falkland Islands to hold referendum on sovereignty
Well it's gonna be obvious what the Falklanders are going to say to Argentina especially to Cristina Fernandez.
