The appearance of furigana usually depends on the magazine it's printed in. NANA has furigana because it was serialized in Cookie, the monthly cousin of Ribbon, both shoujo comic mags aimed at young teens. Yes NANA is more of a mature, josei story but the Japanese really give the benefit of the doubt to their young kids so as long as there's no gratuitous sex and nudity it's okay.
Honey and Clover is serialized in Young YOU, a josei or young lady's mag. Readers are usually OLs so they're expected to know basic kanji, thus no furigana's needed. But furigana rule is not concrete, for example, in seinen mag Comic Blade there are usually no furigana, since the target audience are male otakus. The only exception being ARIA, which the tankoubans are being sold to young girls as well. ARIA is one of the cross gender/genre series everyone seemed to love, so furigana is added. I must say, ARIA looks incredibly out of place in Comic BLADE. |

I'd buy temple miko T&K ........ actually, I'd prefer Konata in her jammies parked in front of her computer slaying monsters surrounded by snacks and a cola.

I've just got back from a week in Tokyo. Unsurprisingly, LS is everywhere - not least in the ero-dōjinshi racks (no, I didn't buy any in case you're wondering). Some of the best items aren't for sale though - I kept seeing incredibly cute promo posters in shops that I would have bought in an instant, not to mention the cardboard cutouts of the characters in chibi form.
Besides from picking up the manga at the Omiya branch of Gamers (where Konata shops), I bought the September issue of Comp Ace for the bundled LS fanbook. It's pretty neat, 100 pages (18 in colour), with everything from character profiles to random manga drawn by different artists (e.g. Tsukasa 4koma in nyoro~n style, and one about the girls commuting home called Someday in the Train). I also couldn't resist grabbing Natsu no Teiban ("Summer Routine"), a wee Comiket-themed 4koma dōjinshi by Nekoma Kotomitsu: (front / back) The text on the back reads "The Melancholy of Hīragi Kagami"

Wow, that remix cover really is awesome!
I love when they choose a somewhat monochromatic color scheme for anime art.. Links to larger versions of the covers from the official site.

They're... actually kind of spooky. The faces are pretty good... but yeah the hair though colored reasonably well is much too thin and wispy.
And if they were doing this properly, each doll would have its own wardrobe of outfits (like in the series ).
