Her name is never given. She narrates the story, so she always just uses "watashi" or some other first person pronoun.

Easily the best show of the season (with a lot of the credit due to Nakahara's performance; being a big fan of her all this years, even I thought she outdid herself with this one). One of the low points of the past month for me was when I was still sick at home with bronchitis, and no Humanity Has Declined episode to watch.

But the best of the year? Going to hold judgment on that because damn, Shin Sekai Yori looks like it's going to give even this one a run for its money.

That's a crossover worth going through. I don't know if Aura is the title of the show or her name is Aura but the link leaves me with an impression that either the world is gone and Aura tells her view or similar worlds but different characters.

Think Pokemon red and blue if that makes it easier for anyone...stupid moonrunes.

The movie is Aura.

That's the MC from it. It's the same Director, Writer & Original Novel writer as from Humanity has Declined. Though I get the feeling it's a tad more in the normal range of the Director. He normally has handled, quite well, comedy series, which the movie is supposed to be more of. Though the PV that's out of it comes across more as a Fantasy Battle movie. haha

With a good 2nd week due to the Amazon stock issue, Jinrui ends up at 5700 for V1 - far better than I'd expected. It'll be interesting to see where V2 ends up. There's a mini Romeo Tanaka boom happening here at the moment - if Aura does well especially, I could see a S2 of Jinrui happening easily when there's enough material.

I'd personally prefer to see anime series based on some of his VNs... but judging from that "Romeo Project" is produced by his novel publishers I don't think that we'll see any of these soon
