This was such a touching scene. Styl's so tsundere for Touma.

Ok just trying to put this together right. Stiyl's skin (Geh) came back because the guy thought his power no longer worked. But Touma's hand didn't reattach because it negated what would have reattached it? Or at least I think that's how it worked. Talk about misfortune if that was the case . He's lucky for the Health Care they have. Though must've been one strange situation where Touma showed up in that state.

Still should not have watched this one while eating supper. Skin flying off....This arc was bad for Stiyl. Very disturbing stuff.

I've seen confusing special attacks before, but Aureolous' takes the cake.

Really? I mean, at least he was the one figuring out what Aureolus had planned for Index (Vampirism), and his probing questions about Aureolus' complicated approach were decisive in leading Touma to the right conclusions. If you ask me, I'd say that this episode showed him in a pretty good light overall.

(And I laughed at his late taunt - first, peeling an apple, seemingly for Touma, and then just snatching it away again to eat it by himself) ^_^

Index's best episode ever. Seriously.

I bumped to my mind that the first half would have a rising tension of the characters and its world-renowned 'wall of text' script , but it turned out to be well-organized and not annoying. We've also witnessed Aureolus' motive , past , and what his Ars Magna can do, and that's a good thing. On the other hand, the second-part, was solid filled with breath-taking highlights such as Touma being manly and badass to the highest level. The battle was completely different compared to the typical shounen fighting: slash, evade, engage, etc. I'm amazed on how Touma thinks , and how he owned Aureolus. Love the Stiyl's anatomy in a midair was shock-inducing too. For the result, Himegami was part of the company, Aureolus is now a ordinary man.. poor guy. 'Naturally'. Nice role of Sugita by the way. Short but satisfying episode. 9/10

For the preview, Me and /a/ will having a party on Biribiri Arc!. Can't wait for Maid's name and Accelerator.

I'm not saying Stiyl didn't do some good things here. But seriously getting your skin ripped off would normally make it an overall bad experience. That just sucks.

Definitely without his help Touma wouldn't have figured things out and probably would have died. Took a lot of guts to draw attention to himself with those questions knowing that Aureolus could do just about anything as a response.

Stiyl is a good guy and plenty of fun to watch. He didn't get much fighting action in this. But interactions with Touma were some of the bright spots for the arc.

That and his "the floor's cold" were wonderful scenes. He's been a great fun in this series so far, and those scenes just show that. His interaction with Touma is quite the treat.

Was really surprised at the amount of gore in this episode. I mean a bit was shown in last weeks preview, though i wouldn't have expected that much --- at least thought they would have cut down a bit for the DVD release. Either way, i'm glad with the result.

Looks like white haired boy from the OP appears next episode.

This episode was great. Touma and Stiyl double team to mind rape Izzard. Bonus points for Sugita displaying emotion.

And I still managed to get my weekly dose of Index moe. I won't mind to see sparky for some time, I can run on this scene alone for weeks.

I don't think it's farfetch at all Especially seeing who the next Antagonist is

I'm still waiting for the english subs to come out so that I can understand the technical conversations in details, but the final encounter I got the gist of it... Pretty gruesome, but that's how I like my boss fights

Ending the episode with Index and Aisa visiting Touma couldn't have gone better

P.S - Next week begins the much anticipated Mikoto arc... I'm guessing by the end of it we'll be done with the first half of thisseries

Wow. This episode was kind of brutal and actually gory! I certainly did not expect to see Style get skinned alive nor did I expect Touma to get his hand sliced off with butt loads of blood spraying every where.

It was kind of entertaining hearing the alchemist freak out towards the end. I guess I just find it funny hearing Tomokazu Sugita's voice in such a way.
