I still think he deserves to have some more. I want more Rivalz! It bothers me that he doesn't get enough but that's what happens when your a minor character. I should write a fanfiction, focusing on his life.
This is the old season 1 thread. We'll probably need an R2 thread up sometime, despite that many characters (KoR, Princesses, etc) still aren't revealed yet. :\
Lelouch is my favorite character of course. He always manages to be comical even when things are going horribly wrong for him. Plus, how do you not love a guy who's answer to political and military disputes is a game of chess.
Secondly, Kallen. She's kind of the right-hand of Lelouch. Lelouch would be a fantastic pilot, but I think Kallen would beat him in that category any day. Plus, she has a way of getting to Lelouch emotionally. ^_-
Then there's Arthur the cat. I like him because he brought Suzaku (back when people liked him) to tears and got the entire council dressed up as cats. Hahaha... Oh, and Lelouch tied up. Lelouch tied up is always a hoot. What was that thing that Lelouch said about cats and tomatoes? xD I forgot but it made me laugh.

I love that quote. ^^ The lack of Lakshata on the poll is depressing. I'd say she's pretty important. Without her the Black Knights would be lacking some great Knightmares. Arthur is the best. For a cat, he's got a great personality/attitude. I wonder what he thinks about....

It is about 3 months since the start of R2. New R2 characters has started to show up in the character poll in Animage, Animedia and NewType. I'm rather interested in how these polls will turn out in the next few month. Will it be any different from our votes in time to come when a R2 fave character poll is set up? As compared to the main characters like Lelouch, Suzaku, Kallen or C.C., I feel that the competition between the new characters will be more interesting to see.
Scans of Characters Poll from May Issue to July Issue. As usual, the higher exposure rate, the more votes a character gets. Lelouch still dominates the poll. He must have geassed fans not to stop voting for him during the off-peak season

Note that the girls and the boys do not get a separate poll in Animedia as most of you knows. The competition seems to be more heated up here.
Lelouch is still the king of poll. C.C. is moving up fast. The characters such as Kallen and Suzaku are climbing back up. The performance and the appearance of the characters in a series is really critical. Rolo is apparently the first R2 character to show up in a poll. Note that Jul issue has a top 30 instead of Top 20. We should not even see Rolo here if it was a Top 20 poll Looking forward to see how his character will fare in the popularity poll.

Over the month there are increasing number of characters getting into/back to the poll. That is the power of media. Lelouch is still the king here. Triumphing over Kira Yamato reign of 15 times champion since April (I think so) this year, he must be the god of the most popular character. That is how powerful our Lelouch is. I'm surprised that Xingke being the first of R2 characters getting up to the poll was dropped off in the next month. Gino had done the best of all the new characters for getting into the top 20 earning himself an image there Rolo finally shows up in the poll too. It is about time that the other new characters to join in.
What is interesting that Jul 2008 seems to be a Geass and Gundam dominated month. The characters from Gundam and Code Geass basically took up the Top 10 spots.

A magazine which has a separate polls for boys and girls. More characters will be able to hop into the boat.
We see Suzaku, Kallen and probably Nunnally rejoins the poll. New characters up are both from Knights of Round.
In summary, the first to show up in the poll (I'm most curious about before the premiere of R2) is Li Xingke who was lost in the next month. The character which done the best is Gino who earned his place Top 20 in Animage and NewType. The other characters, please work harder although they will never get to the throne where King Lelouch is sitting in .
What is the name of the anime that is in all Kanji that has two top characters on the list? Does anyone know? I don't recognize them.

I'm gonna take a wild guess here but I bet Nina will be in the top three for that kind of thread.
PS: The way Nina refered to Euphemia as her Goddess, Euphemia must be turning in her grave freaked out.
The fact that Nina is building a nuke in her name and her obsession with killing Zero regardless of how many people she kills is making Euphie turn in her grave.
And a hated character poll might be a fun idea but it would just be one giant flame bait.
