even if matsumoto dies (unlikely) kubo has only just shown us the tip of the iceberg with the new RG woman and hopefully bambi. and hallibel and nel will be back too. and the lesser SR girls... there's still plenty (even ichigo's mom's flashback)

"Matsumoto is dying... Or isn't she?!" I feel like I have seen this twist before. Oh yeah, Gin did the same to her back in Arrancar. Kubo really exploited her character in a way that is not sexual. This is normal for Ichigo but weird for supporting characters. It feels like when the arc started he was willing to kill anybody but he changed his mind.

Seems like Kubo is a fan of Yoshitaka Amano. Ichigo reminded me of Firion from FF2.
I wonder how strong he is now. He seemed really confident while talking to Urahara, just like he was against Aizen. Guess that's gonna be the end for the sternritter once he arrives, vollstanding or not.

I think he was talking about the path to follow to go back to soul society which take a week. It sounds a lot like the path to Kaio's planet in DBZ.

he's talking about the stairs. it's a mix between snake way and the pole to get to korin's place. also everyone's waiting for goku ichigo to save them

I think it's for good this time. He knows everything there is to know about his past and he has accepted every aspects of his powers. He has no reason to doubt himself anymore.

He has become determined and confident, but it's not the first time that's happened, like amaterasu4 mentioned.

What was really different about Ichigo was how at ease he was. He was calm and relaxed, for real, not just because he was getting ready for a fight.

Or, because this is the final arc of this manga and Kubo has, at last, run out of ideas to power him up more than this. If this wasn't the last arc then, I would've been skeptical as well.

Yeah, it's pretty much identical to the part where Goku has to fly back after his training with King Kai while his friends are holding off Vegeta and Nappa.

Just like Kubo anyway, have a OP female character in one chapter then kill her off with no effort with Upgraded Ichigo. I hope Konumaru flattens her. His new armor looks sick.

Actually I figure Ichigo is going to go for Haschwalth, to even the score. My personal hope is that Rukia finishes the brats off.
