Exaggeration it may be, but the real statistics don't really change the point made. If Ginjou does indeed have his own Bankai (as opposed to stealing Ichigo's, as some suggested) and didn't use Urahara's method, it'd be nice to know how.

They didn't say how long ago Ginjo was made into a Sub. I'm guessing it was more than 10 years. But keep in mind, that statement was also made just before he said only one in several generations of even Noble family bloodlines would be strong enough to use bankai and it is obviously much more common than that.

Ah, yeah it's been a few years since I last saw that conversation, but still regardless, it just seems like Bankais are nothing special now. Anyone can get one, no explaination needed.

See, if this is the direction Kubo wanted to take this he should have dropped better hints. Like, when Ichigo first showed a hollow side could have had someone mention "hey, that's just like .....him" and leave us guessing, that way, years later we'd all go "ohhhhb so Ginjou is HIM!" but instead he decided to draw from easily forgotten things in the past that nobody paid much attention to. It leaves it feeling convoluted and poorly planned.

You seem to be assuming Kubo has a plan. Silly.

bankai is not as common as it seems... keep in mind that SS has about 3,000 shimigami within their ranks. Amongst those 3000 only 12 of the current members have obtained bankai. The VC's may hold the potential for bankai, but the rest have no hope of ever having a chance of getting remotely close enough to become strong enough for bankai. Also note that this does not even consider the numerous shimigami that may died over the years or the even more COUNTLESS inhabitants of all of soul society

This quote instantly popped out in front of me when I scanned through the page.

Just had to give it a QFE

Anyways... people are arguing over dumb things!... when has Bleach EVER come remotely close to making ANY logical sense?.. If you try to force logic onto it.. it won't work.. Kubo obviously doesn't care about what he has said before if he's going to try to pull out some crap like this lol.. That's just his style.. no planning or brainstorming what so ever.

If you ignore all that.. then this chapter was alright. I hope they don't leave too soon.. Rukia just came back for Ichigo and it'd be dumb if she had to leave right after without any sort of interaction besides when she showed up..

Hahaha so the original plan was for Ukitake to create a badge to draw the two substitute Shinigami together and fight each other, and then the captains kill the survivor.

Nice.

I just hope, this is actually the end and we don't get some crappy yaoi next chapter.

At this point the best thing that could happen to bleach is for it to move to a new generation, DBZ style.

The best thing Bleach could do is end. Let Ichi and Gin have an epic battle and END this manga. At this point I dont really even care about the other Capt Bankai anymore

I feel you on that one. When this whole FB arc started I thought it would return back to the OLD Bleach that we knew and loved. My reward for that line of thinking was to be Trolled.

Rukia: "That's right! he never changed!"

Bleach! The only manga that will try to make the lack of character development look cool!

No, the best option would be if Ichigo died (or lost his powers again) and Karin had to take over as the main character. Karin 4EVER!

Fund it!

And I mean like right now, fund it!

Well putting the awesome idea aside for the moment, I think the series could really do with the Kurosaki famliy conflict arc.

Maybe have the old man groom his daughters as the next bringers of long winded fights and shocked at everything expression reapers...altho maybe instead of that, bringers of awesome bitch fighting against SS as to who gets to keep there beloved brother reapers

Kurosaki sisters vs SS!

With james0246 on this one. Except the "ichigo losing his powers" part, are you insane?

That's something i might have enjoyed after ichigo lost his powers...
Bleach had fallen so far after SS that it feels as though the series is practically salvageable... having a new main character with their unlimited potential to could have seriously helped breathe new life into the series. Though this is a move that would take serious balls since ichigo still has his fan base. Unfortunately we got this whole terrible fullbring debacle, just so we could get back to the status quo

I know right, it's like Kubo's intentionally trying to kill his manga but is failing hard it. j/k

Bleach can't end unless Kenpachi is the final battle, only way I will accept it.

makes you wish kubo had stuck to rukia as the main character instead of creating an ichigo, huh? i have nothing against the guy, in fact, i used to like him. but he's gotten pretty boring these past few years. there has been zero growth to him character-wise.

it's not an exaggeration but more like a standard for most shinigami. if you look at guys like renji, they struggled to achieve theirs for years and even now they're still trying to master it. ichigo achieved his in 3 days because kubo wanted us to see his extraordinary potential and also because he signed up for urahara's "achieve-bankai-in-3-days" program. but even so, ichigo could only use probably a fraction of what his bankai could really do. that's why he only knows getsuga tenshou.

Isn't it weird how secondary characters always end up with more special moves than the MC? Inoue's got 3, Renji's got another 3, Chad's got 2, Ishida and Byakuya got plenty more...so why is Ichigo stuck with ONE move, even after rebuilding his powers from scratch?
