Hey guys/gals just wanted your views on who would make a good akatsuki member out of the current Hidden leaf and sand Village ninja roster?

I like the puppet guy from the sand...he would have the "i am better than my brother complex" to work with....but a puppet guy in the group would be played out by then.

This would actually be feasible. See, what if, after meeting Sasori, Kankurou were to get all inferiority-complex-y and begin to train extraordinarily hard, and begins to make his own puppets, and becomes really good, and even, eventually, defeats Gaara and makes a hito-kugutsu from him? (Human puppet). That would give him a really trong puppet, with jutsu from a Bijuu, and also enough reason to leave the hidden sand, and enough rep to join Akatsuki, and more or less assume Sasori's position as a Senpai. Very good thinking.

No. I never said he'd make a puppet from the Bijuu. He'd make a puppet from Gaara, and the Gaara hito kugutsu would be string since Gaara, being a former Bijuu vessel, and having control over sand, would be a strong puppet with Bijuu jutsu.

Agreed, with his new powers he can most likely compete with the other akatsuki, and working with Akatsuki might increase the probability of him reaching his goals.

Kumogakure ninja with a bloodline technique called Ikazuchi genome which allows them to turn their chakra into electricity so the byakugan cannot see them or with a lightning version of sharingan + byakugan called the ikazuchigan or the best person to put A BLACK GUY or blacknese because i have seen noone that even looks slightly black it is racism j/k
