one of the funniest ep for this series the whole ep was just wacky full of references and overally enjoyably fun to watch ^.^
it nearly killed me to see hayate go SS XD

but the preview is even more drool...yes the time is here to have some lovely sweet sweet maria x hayate moments

Hehe well I've always been more of a Maria fan than Hina, but I've been rooting for the Hayate X Hina pairing, since she showed up.

even though im a Hina fan the reason i got into the series is Maria. Even though Hina is special i have higher hope Hayate gets with Maria

I don't think her background story is told in the manga until later volumes. But it's in her character profile or on wikipedia
(btw i _don't_ recommend reading the character list page on the wikipedia page if you only watch the anime because it's so filled with spoilers.)

That's because her hair is silver in Inukami. The one who wears a lab-coat.

I thought ep 18 was great even though it's a filler.
Loved when Hayate tells the audience that they threw in a bunch of fan service pictures for snap shot crazy people. I think he was refering to the people on 2chan.

Caught a lot of references in this one. Zanbot 3 and Code Geass. More MAR, pokemon, Heidi, Inukami, Card captor Sakura, more Kamen Rider, DBZ, Kinnikuman, saint seiya, and a few moetan references. Hina is playing a pc-engine 2 (Supergrafx) but I don't know what that game is.

I only caughth the SSJ2 Gohan reference I believe it was If Himuro is butler and Taiga is master than why does Taiga serve Himuro?!?

Even though this ep was a filler,wooh wee it was enjoyable, but each time I start enjoying parts of the episode Taiga comes in, and to me he was a complete turn-off

I'm watching episode 18 at the moment. Although it's still very early, the fact that it's beach episode automatically makes it instant winner. And did I forget to mention the massive loads of Hina fan-service?

But there's one thing that bothers me (and points to Taiga & Himuro): who actually serves who?

I think we all need a little more Hinagiku fanservice in our lives. I would love to see her more involved in the main story shes such a fun a character.
