Anyway, I'm doing a special project in my animation class, and decided I wanted to show off the characters. In case you're wondering, it's a fully hand-drawn animation. I know I'm an idiot for undertaking it single-handedly, I don't need you to remind me.

Anyway, onto the pics.

First of all, Ivory Mask. When I designed him, his character, and his backstory, I wanted to keep the idea of 'motherfucking psycho' going on around him. That big grinning mask was the start.

And then, we have Ivory Punishment. He's more refined then Mask, although he's still not the kind of guy you'd want to meet in a back alley. In his original design, he used a large cross to bludgeon people to death, however, I didn't like it that much. I designed a bunch of other weapons, but I decided hand to hand was for him. The entire original design was actually trashed, because it reminded me too much of Ergo Proxy(although it kicks ass, it's not what I was going for).

Spoiler for Ivory Mask Designs: First of all, here's the original design. The shoulders are huge. After that, I reworked it. The shoulders were smaller, and the crossed planks on the shoulder are smaller. This is basicly the main version. ^Note that I forgot to draw the large cross tatoo on the chest of that one, and the cross on the groin is right-side up, where it should be upside down. I was half asleep when I drew that pic. Otherwise, it's the same version. Lastly, the animation version. The planks on the shoulders were made a little smaller, while the shoulders themselves got slightly smaller too. The knives on his right leg were removed, and only the belts remain. The tear under the left eye was also added. And then, we have Ivory Punishment. He's more refined then Mask, although he's still not the kind of guy you'd want to meet in a back alley. I tried to fix it, but you can still see the error. Aha! The pieces are in place... He just looks too familiar... Finally, the final version. This time around, the face and mask are narrower, the clothing is less 'cloaky,' and the clothing is closer to the original design. He's also easier to draw in this version. I ended up designing a variety of weapons, mainly focusing on bludgeoning instruments, however, I finally decided that what fit him best was just good ol' fisticuffs. I'd have more pictures to show you all, but their all at school right now.
