well she is, but it's still unknown whether the worlds of higurashi and umineko are somehow connected. until now, bernkastel in umineko has nothing to do with bernkastel in higurashi (but there are some interesting theories in the higurashi discussion thread)

I wonder how weird it looks for a russian girl to be cosplaying...

Lol, but I think she looks better with black hair! D : Oh well. I'll get her full outfit soon and grow out my hair [ My hair grows really fast! ] And I guess I'll dye it dark dark dark blue. [ So I don't get complaints about the blue >3< !! ] annnd make better pictures.

By the way, I have been meaning to ask, does anyone know the main character in Umineko? [ Mainly most of the time, like keichii being main for the first season, or rather...who is mostly main for now? Gah... ]

Doesn't look weird, many other people do it not only japanese ones. Here in Germany there are also bigger anime conventions and cosplays!
