Fantasy rpg with childhood friend romance

Could somebody please suggest some fantasy-oriented games (possibly rpg, not visual novels) with a childhood friend romance plot present (don't know why I am lately so interested in this particular kind of romance plot, probably it just seems cuter to me than others ).

I mean, something like:

Dragon quest 5 and 8
Tales of graces
Tales of Symphonia

With happy endings, if possible, I am just in no mood for something dark and depressing right now

Cloud and Tifa are childhood friends in Final Fantasy VII. Whether their relationship is romantic I'll leave for you to decide.

Final Fantasy XII has the pairing of Vaan and Penelo. Penelo seems more aware of her feelings than does Vaan, but isn't that usually the way these things work?

Really? Vaan and Penelo are such non-characters that they might as well not even be in the game.

The first one that came to my mind was Atelier Iris 2 : The Azoth of Destiny(PS2).

Throw Atelier Iris 3: Grand Phantasm in as well.

Also:

Mana Khemia 2
Skies of Arcadia
Lunar: The Silver Star
Star Ocean 2, 3, and 4, with 4 having it as the 'main' romance.
Valkyrie Profile, though you have to work really really hard to get the happy ending for the two.
LoZ: Skyward Sword, between Link and Zelda, arguably.
Every Fire Emblem game, if you steer the relationships that way.

Pretty sure there's such in Xenoblade Chronicles... I only got about halfway through and it's been a while though. I know there was a childhood friend chick and some interaction to that effect between them in the beginning at least... but then something happens... and other things happen... to make that something not as something as it appeared, etc... but I don't know how it ends, lol.

If you wanted fantasy and RPG elements mixed both with a childhood romance story my top suggestion would definitely have to be the kingdom hearts series (mainly the 1st and 2nd games as they are the best in the series) also has a very entertaining and quite long storyline to it

So I made a list of games with this kind of plot and ending (those I already played, but consider all the previous suggestions also included), if somebody has got new suggestions could you please add them?

Dragon Quest V
Dragon Quest VIII
Ar Tonelico 1
Ar Tonelico 2
Rune Factory : Tides of Destiny
Opaline
Aveyond: Prophecy of Ahriman
Aveyond 2
Zendir 1
Zendir 2
Hexyz force
Xenoblade
Star Ocean: the Last Hope
Fire Emblem series
Romancing Walker
Final Fantasy IV

By the way, has anybody played “Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga”?
Spoiler for spoiler:
