Spoiler for On A*:

The comedy improved a lot with this episode. Ruri is being handled much better now and the pacing in general seems better. I feel more at ease with this season now. Bring on the comedy! (and Ruka while you're at it)

Although Hayate getting pwned by a what, 11, 12 year old? is defying all logic

At the start the episode was pitiful (I mean the scene where Ruri was begging so they could let her in. B-But the rest was awesome. Like that Russian Martial Arts Style and hayate getting clobbered.

So far, this third series is not clicking for me. The intro was quite disappointing, as it focused essentially on one female, where there are 4 other better ones that they left out. The second episode itself is quite bland, although there is some comedy, but not enough to overcome any disappointment.

As for Ruri, I really don't know what to make of her. Seriously, just do a DNA test and get it over with.

Well, here is hoping Hinagiku will show up soon. The anime production team can't ruin that, can they?

For all of Nagi's display of genre savvy, why didn't she just suggest that?

Ruri's situation is beyond suspicious; she sidestep the question of how did she learn that Nagi is her sister.

The first thing doesn't necessarily mean the second. New material can enhance and expand upon a story. A lot of the time, it might not, but it can introduce concepts that are worth looking at with a critical eye as much as something in the original.

I like the angel thing.
And what guy complains about a 100% filler ?
When they did that for Fairy Tail (a full 26 episode season), they cried. :s

But it's not; we have tons of statement from the Author saying that this is canon somewhere down the line after the current manga arc but that's not the problem.

The question was "Who is this Anime for?" I'm almost certain 90% of the manga-fans probably haven't been waiting 5 years for this. Then if it's for the Anime-watchers only why are there new and old characters in situations that have not been properly explained?

I never took the manga's storyline that seriously since Hata switches the plot alot...(From A-Tan and the past to Nagi and Ruka writing mangas) so Im perfectly find with this plot. gotta get use to the new artwork. Tsuruya sound old for her age ><. finally getting tired of Ruka unless i see some moe.
