An exhausted Zest fighting under AMF conditions.

That, and mage-rank =/= certain victory.

Wasn't it said Zest was trying to cover for his subordinates while fighting?

Is it explained in Sound Stages why Hayate doesn't have Rein Eins's imperviousness or anti-personnel level spells like Bloody Dagger? If so, what explanation is given?

She probably does have the spells, she just takes too long to cast them.

Cinque is S+ actually, "equal to Deici's heavy barrel" according to a quote in the Japanese wiki.

All of the cyborgs are listed at their physical strength level on the English wiki. It's not even remotely accurate regarding the Numbers. I signed up for the wiki at one point but decided it would be too much work to redo all the pages to fix.

Well, we probably will not know all the anti-personnel goodness in the Book, but Bloody Dagger certainly does not seem slow. As to why Hayate lacks Rein's ability to shrug off seemingly anything... is that explained?

Because Reinforce is a Lost Logia, while Hayate is a human.

I said cast, not the spell itself being slow.

Was it that slow to cast, compared to say Excelion Buster? :? I'd always interpreted the pause between the Daggers appearing and actually hitting the two as an intentional "Go wet your knickers, You Gonna Get Raped" moment rather than slowness on the part of the spell's casting time.

That's the spell itself.

I al talking about *Casting*, here. It's Canon in MGLN that less control might force you to say long incantations.

If Hayate has to talk for 2 minutes before casting 'Bloody Dagger'.....

Better ask here about the Tome/Book of Darkness before I go further.

- Going back, it has had many owners. However, from my understanding Signum and Co haven't always been its Knights, hence implying other "characters" has been their predecessors. Is this a correct assumption?

- Second, the Knights/Guardians belonging to the Tome, were they once human? I vaguely remember that this is correct but I'm not sure.

- Third, is there a rough estimation of when it become corrupted? If not, then I can play around more.

This is an imperative part in a upcoming Ancient Belka fic focused on Ixpellia and an OC of mine.

There has been nothing to my knowledge that implies the Wolkies haven't been with the book from the beginning.

It is a popular point of speculation, and you can find 'support' for the theory in the form of Signum telling Agito that 'for some reason it feels warm' when she was unisoned with her, but that still could mean anything. No absolute confirmation has been made, so it's still a theory.

funny, i've always related that to just "two fire elementals in Unison" since Zest did not seem to show any elemental affinity while Rein Zwei seem to suggest being an Ice.

Yes, that's another explanation. Like I said, the idea of the Wolkies once being humans and Agito being Signum's Unison Device from that time is all speculation. This was just a scene that fueled the speculation.

So it's a problem only for Hayate, but not Rein Eins whose presumable centuries of existence make control over her powers a non-issue?

Well, it's strange that Hayate can't do something like that, considering
