Hey, Chicago. I think you'd like Kannagi, based on your tastes. Maybe Bamboo Blade, too. And go Cubs.

Recommending True tears and Clannad. Clannad has similar atmosphere to kannon. True Tears has good pacing, beautiful visuals, nice bgm.

Only similarity both of them have with claymore is that they take place in antiquity in parallel worlds but you may find them appealing.

Born & raised North Side, lifelong fan. Beating the Braves 4-2, bottom 8.

Enjoy Kannagi - you'll love it. True Tears was a great suggestion, too.

Let's see...

-School Days (it's a little mature though)
-Haruhi Suzumiya (saw Lucky Star on your list)
-Higurashi no Naku koro Ni (completed series, funny but violent at times)
-Umineko no Naku Koro Ni (it's first episode just aired last week though, so it's fairly recent. More on the mystery side)
-Revolutionary Girl Utena (a classic anime and a must see)
-Emma, a Victorian Romance (maid falling in love with a rich boy in 1700 England)
-Negima! (10 year old wizard goes to teach all girls school in Japan. Harem anime take caution )

I would recommend Toradora!

It's a school life/romance/comedy anime. It's really great.

This is going to be interesting. Bookmarking thread Actually...notice that the OP has Shigurui and K-On on the same list. Talk about extreme ends of the spectrum.

While we're at it, let me suggest Higurashi no Naku Koro ni if you want to see some bubbly, cute, lolis with a twist. Seeing how you like Kara no kyoukai and Shiguri, you'll probably enjoy Higurashi.

Also check out Baccano, that'll be a treat for you.
