@whitepearl: Doesn't sound too convincing coming from the one who pwned us on the other 3 games.

I was waaaay behind in points so I had to take some risks, though I guess dealing an extra dora wasn't the smartest move. Worst thing is that I only had a meager open single suit with honors + my wind, plus a pair of east winds. And seeing your hand it didn't seem I was ever going to get the extra pung of easts.

And it's obvious I'm not familiar with 3-players rules.

They remove the manzi tiles, except for the 1,9 tiles. You can also discard your north tiles and pick up a new tile from the wall instead. That's pretty much all the differences. Though, because of these characteristics its mcuh easier to form your hands.
