I could imagine the servants who weren't on duty being shown in 1998 or something like that.

And possibly more demons and witches, and maybe even more characters that resemble characters from Higurashi. *still has hopes for a Hanyuu or Rena witch*

Of course before ep4 there's been tons of speculation about that, and since the PIN starts with "07" everyone pretty much used the same reading that caused Ryukishi to chose "07" in his nickname because it can be spelled as "Reina".

In a few words 07151129 becomes: Reina igo ii niku

"ii niku" means "good meat" and someone though it was appropriate because Ep3 is the banquet of the golden witch. 15 could also be spelled as "ichigo", strawberry.

Reina is... well the original name of Higurashi's Rena, or the name of one of the five main characters of Final Fantasy V.

Well, new member here. Just wanted to say, I am enjoying this discussion. I am from India and I feel that anime and manga are good ways to propagate interest in Japanese culture among foreigners like me. Sorry for being off topic. Just for the record, Kanon is currently my favorite character in UM.

What about reading it backwards or upside down? (upside down 5 looks like some kind of Japanese symbol to me, but I could be wrong)

Hey guys, I figured out Kanon's real name!

His real name is Lelouch

-shot-

<on topic>

As far as the numbers go, it's also theorized that 11/29 could be related to Battler's sin.

Spoiler for EP 4:

I lol'd.

Anyway, the other numbers could be someone elses birthday. Beato? or maybe the other Battler's somehow? Ange's?

Battler and everyone else in that scene said they didn't know who that date belonged to birthday wise, so I'm guessing that includes both Ange and Asumu.

Now that you've said that, I think that was one scene where Ange was mentioned, because Battler said it wasn't her birthday.
Hmm.
We'll find out soon enough.

11 might mean october and the 29 might be the date of the family reunion that happened 6 years ago.

it could be anything

It could be 11:29 (Time of Battler's birth?)

It could be November 29, which could be the birth date of the other Battler Ushiromiya or who knows who.

It could be the year 1129, (but nothing relevant seem to have happened in such date)

Or it could be a completely different thing.

Even if by chance we get the right answer we will have no means to tell it apart from all the other hypothesis.

While we're talking numbers, the item that I got thinking about in the Q&A: the name "Rokkenjima" itself, as "Six House Island". Maybe pointless, but a couple things come to mind.

First off, the concept of "six houses" would be pretty weird. We've got the mansion, the guesthouse, and Kuwadorian. I'm not sure where to go with that one, though.

Also, the "six" possibly applying to the first twilight. Eva checks an atlas, right? But people looking at an atlas haven't found whatever it was she saw, apparently. Well, Rokkenjima is fictional, so maybe that explains it? In addition to the first character being a "six", it would be written with six kana.

Alternatively... Six toes? Six years? There's a lot of "six" in this game for some reason. If we're thinking about 07151129, it's almost odd that it doesn't have a six in it anywhere, considering.

Eh, maybe I've just gone on a silly track for the moment.

There is a lot of 6 in this game. We've been noticing it for quite some time now. Ushiromiya can also be made into 6 syllables. Beatoriche (ベアトリチェ) is 6 characters too. Ah, the list goes on.
