Either that, or in a weird bizarre coincidence, Iori Minase had a case of mistaken identity and launched an all-out attack at Miyuki...

Although I can't vouch for the taste, foodies claim that aged balsamic vinegar doesn't taste sour at all and it's about as sweet as caramelized sugar.

Now if you put regular vinegar (white, red, or otherwise), then yeah, that's gross.

And now you know...

Thanks. I just took the time to look it up...I guess it's more like fermented syrup. Some people even drink it in the end of a meal.

But eww balsamic vinegar on steak. I guess I just can't stand vinegar to begin with.

EDIT: Now that we know it's sweet and viscous, a lot more inappropriate jokes are now wide open.

Okay correction, balsamic vinegar, either aged or recently fermented, is not sweet, but not too sour either, it's supposed to bring out certain flavors of food.

That is all.

It is sweet, and the older it is, the richer and sweeter it gets.

My wife has 4 or 5 different balsamic vinegars in her pantry ... no I have no idea why one would use one versus the other but she claims they're each more useful for certain recipes than the others.

But it was enormously cute that Tsukasa just liked saying the words (flashback to Hobbes saying "Smock." ... over and over again -- from Calvin&Hobbes).

I wonder if a similar association to Konata and "Timotei" would bring up as much of a response as Tsukasa's to "barusamikko su".

I don't think Timotei's as random. If it's something like "depleted uranium", "laevateinn" (whatever that sword was called), or...I don't know...something ambiguous like "in-and-out" it would be more interesting. More funny would be the other characters slowly adjusting from puzzled frustration to speaking the words themselves just because Kona keeps on subliminally dousing them with it.

Ah well, I stand corrected, but then again, I've never had aged balsamic. It's way too expensive.

To keep on topic...

Doujinshi? Dunno just saw this randomly searching the net, Kona-chan looks nice if she's not S.D.
Didn't read the other 20+ pages so sorry if this has already been posted. It does come from a doujin that just shows what the girls will look like when they're older (I like Tsukasa best). Unfortunately I own it and am way to lazy to scan it (plus, my scanner is broken) but I remember putting it on my comp, I'll just have to find it.

Dude is she flashing me. I guess we know the purpose of the Kagami/Tsukasa pair now. Loli Fanservice!

Also I'm going to start getting out a ruler for Konata as she seriously just keeps getting shorter and shorter with each episode. I think that picture of Miyuki holding her in her hand might be a subtle jab at that, much like the Buff Char picture for Zeta Gundam is a play on the fact that Char went from a man with below average muscle tone bordering on rail thin arms, to a buffed up muscle man in Zeta.

Anyway I want my own Pocket Konata. Or would it be called Konata Lite. Oh the things I could do with it, like give it the improved backlight it should have had in the first place and then rerelease it to the market for extra profit. Or better yet I could mass produce them Mario vs. Donkey 2 March of The Minis style and send them out to convert people to the Church of Zeta.
