One of the few anime that looks great from the start. Although it's only 13 episodes long with a lot of characters, it's still very possible to flesh out all the characters. Pulp Fiction is the same format, yet they were able to do a great job with the movie, which is about 2 hours long.

I can't wait for the next episode.

For Baccano! 01 i found a h264 raw @720*480(ntsc) but at 25fps(pal) .

If i try to decimate(25) and asumefps(23,976) i still losse 36 seconds, any one has a typ how to managed this without lossing play time ...

Anybody seen episode 2 yet? The English sub is frustratingly slow for some reason...

I like both. A lot. But the op is utterly addictive. Love that big band jazz sound. Yeah sure it does remind one of CB, but the music is spot on and fits the setting perfectly. I'm more reminded of something like Bugsy Malone too.

Spoiler for ep 2:

But my absolute favorite is the music in the promo trailer ^^; It was so addicting . .. I can't get it off my head after hearing it. *hums it*

I surely can't want to have the Baccano! OST *_*

The OP is terrific - the music obviously fits, but I love the character montage. Given how many characters there are, it's also a virtual necessity in addition to being stylish!

Ah ha, could be. But Miria's dressed as Santa and I'm sure Isaac is pointing a gun under his cloak. Plus the shop keeper doesn't look too amused by the whole thing...

Gun? You sure it is real? It may be just a toy. And no one says we can't wear a Santa costume in Halloween, right. After all, these two are weird persons.

Well, I guess not anyone enjoy being asked for sweets, especially by two adults. Don't forget he has prepared a huge box of snack, all kinds of. It's almost like say "I know I can't refuse to treat you kids, here are what you asking for, choose one you like and go already.

They're not going trick-or-treating. They're just two robbers who dress up as weird things. Remember the train scene in the first EP? They were dressed like they were at a wedding.

If you insist that is a robbery. I guess I need an explanation why the shopkeeper has a full box of unsorted candies.

Did you confuse Issac and Miria with Ladd and Lua. Ladd and Lua are wearing very formal clothings on the train, I doubt you can say same thing to Issac and Miria.

About Isaac and Miria in the OP, I think they're also robbing the store for chocolates and candies ^^; They're crazy and stupid after all xD I wouldn't be surprised if they rob for costumes and stealing other stuff aside from money xD I've seen a movie before about a couple who rob that way . . . but I can't remember the title though ^^;

The subs for eppie 1 were already up around a week later . . . it's already a week but how come the subs for eppie 2 are not yet available ;_; huhuhuh . . .*impatience kills*

For sure raws for eppie 3 will eb available tomorrow . . .can't wait FIRO!!!!! SQUEEEE!!!!!!! xD

Yeah, I did confuse them. xD

But like Sapphire said, they're just plain stupid/goofy/crazy robbers.

I was talking about the shopkeeper in my last post if you didn't notice. He is just a normal shopkeeper, right? I see no point he keeps a full box of unsorted candies if it is not for Halloween.
