Me too. I'm still hoping for some sort of story or 'progression' from this show >_< |

Amakusa Shino is another girl on my "girls that i love" for this season. She totally spices up this show with her pervertic jokes, and she makes a best duo with Aria when it comes to that. Though it feels weird to have a "perfect traits" kaichou but with twisted and perverted thinking, coz it juz doesn't make any sense at all. But i don't mind all of that. This show feels completely opposite from the previous Seitokai show (Seitokai no Ichizon)...instead of having a completely pervertic enthusiast male lead, here we have the same too, except its a female, and a kaichou. Its a good thing to have a kaichou that tries to understand males from a different point of view, and on top of it, have no delicacy at all when it comes to it. At least the jokes are way better than the jokes of pervertic male lead that thinks of nothing but building harem within the student council. As for episode 3....have to say, Shino really made my day with her warped view of the historical places in Kyoto. Just love every moment of Shino and Aria. Though i prefer the moment between Tsuda and Shino more, but episode 3 wasn't that bad. Great story direction and the flows between Shino-Aria and Tsuda-Suzu. Next week will have all 4 of them again together inside the SC room. Looking forward to more pervert jokes from Shino. 8/10 |

This show really surprised me. The jokes are sometimes very crude, but still I can't help but laugh. And surprisingly, while I often go for the "main" characters, and the show seems to support that angle, in this case it currently feels like the best pairing is Tsuda and Suzu, and I'd really like to see that pairing work. Can't really see much happening between Tsuda and Shino so far. Every time they're together all that happens is that she says stupid things that show how shameless she is and he tries to deal with it. With Suzu, though, there's some really touching moments as they're together. I imagine there will be some moments with the other two once they're back, but right now it's looking like love could bloom between the two freshmen, and that's fine by me.
Anyway, Shino's already in a relationship, with a Nara doe. That was a doe, wasn't it? Don't all the bucks have antlers?? |

Its a 4-koma comic adaptation .... "progression" usually takes a back seat to "daily life" humor. Not that it doesn't happen (e.g. Azumanga Daioh, Working!!, etc) - its just fairly slow in comparison.

I know! I'd be very happy with the kind in Working, there's so little here it's imperceptible. |

I think the progression between Suzu and Tsuda over three episodes is greater than that between Takanashi and Mahiru over that space of time. Whether it will continue, or is romantic at all, are open questions. I expect Tsuda's relationships with Suzu and Shino to both evolve in some way. Or at least I hope so, and think it's possible.

Judging from the current amount of volumes (3 volumes only so far) for SYD, its highly unlikely that we will see any development (romance relationship to be precise) between the characters. Not like you can expect anything from a near-realistic guy to have a relationship with 2 perverts and a loli-like SC members.
But i might be wrong at this anyway... since i haven't read any of the manga yet. |

Yep, so far it's just Suzu and Tsuda getting EVER so slightly closer to each other. |

I was a little worried with how the humor would be handled when taking Tsuda, so i'm glad to say this episode did a great job of that. Heck, they even made a joke about him not being there.
Liked that little scene where Tsuda helped Suzu with the chair. I hope we see more of that sort in this series.

Once again, I liked this ep more than the previous, due to both better timing of jokes and because it wasn't 100% pervy humor (which while funny, gets predictable/old when its the only kind of joke). Didn't see that stupid teacher either >.>
I loved how all the deer *sweatdrop* after her comment about the licking XD Also, when started falling and it cut to the deer suddenly jumping in same manner I was like "wtf O.o" |

Got a laugh out of Hata the newspaper girl's antics too, kinda feel bad for her and her deleted pics but yeah, they sure went a little easy on the perverted jokes this time around, though I'm not placing a bet on it staying this way. |
