... How Hinokage was not able to protect everyone. What the hell are the conditions of Busty Chicks Minus?

It seems she can cut down anyone she just look at it.

Really, it seems the only way to defeat her is some kind of Anti-Magic or Power-nullifier.

Also, I don´t like how this chapter ends: Kumagawa seems to have identified Naze as a Minus.

Lol, not like I mind though I mean, I don't really care about 3 out of the 4 and whether they improve their fight style or not. I mean for example, where Akune practices judo, you have Zen who has goes through a daily training in each club and he fits the position of a normal who uses his fists/kicks to overcome his opponents. Akane is pretty uninteresting because his thing is something simular to Zen and I don't expect him to pull an hadouken in the middle of a fight, even after the training.

btw, if i'm not mistaken:

Shibuki asks Kumagawa if has someone in mind to scout and he replies ofcourse and that he didn't participate in the fight for the manager of general affair without a reason. He managed to observe Naze's influence during the fight with Zenkichi and is targetting her. Naze at the same time is not really getting along with Medaka and the student council.

I feel bad for Hinokage as well.

My guess is that she is either able to re-open old wounds or it might be related to some control over a person's blood. Or did she specifically say she cuts people when she looks at them?

So not surprised that Naze could turn out to be a potential minus. Out of the 14 Party members that got developed, she was one of the more likely candidates after Munakata was mentioned imo. Now with Maguro going down he isn't around to sway her over to the council's cause.

I doubt she'd switch sides that easily but if Kumagawa strikes her weak point [Koga] or the differences with the council [Medaka specifically] grows, then it's not hard to see where this is heading. I doubt Naze ever cared what would happen to Medaka anyway, she's only around because of her promise to Maguro.

Regardless, Kumagawa is playing his cards right and it's refreshing every once in a while to see a villain that uses his head instead of pressuring the main characters with power only.

The thought process behind my re-opening wounds theory is partly because her Minus is called "Scar Dead" and she apparently never touched them but blood just started bursting out from all over their body, not just one or two spots but we shall see.

That medicine would actually be a smart move if she used it strategically since Medaka fighting any of them should be the last resort. But if everyone is normalized it makes it so she and Zenkichi are really the only ones left to fight. Unless Hitomi wouldn't be effected.

I wouldn't be surprised if Shiranui meddled in things some more if Naze switches over.

携帯をかける球磨川。電話口で２、３こと話して、携帯を名瀬に渡す、通話の向こうにいたのは･ ･･

・……死屍累々の過負荷襲撃部隊の上に、古賀を守り仁王立ちする改神モードめだかに善吉、瞳。

「ご安心ください、お姉さま。古賀二年生は我々が保護しております。ですから、お姉さま お願い
します、私の味方でいてください」
「いや、ありがとう。今から俺はお前の支持者だ」
・球磨川相手に睨み凄む名瀬、携帯を手で握り潰し血がはじけ飛ぶ。お前を倒すのは俺の妹の役目 だと。

If you call that quick, then how about Shiranui's intervention? She called Medaka right when Kumagawa was urging Naze to become a minus.

She suggested to Medaka that she should take a walk with Zenkichi which confused her but due Shiranui's intervention, they managed to protect Koga <3.

Does anyone else hope that the Plus 6 will eventually help the student council? With allies being sent to the hospital and/or defecting, and the -13 being insanely strong, it seems that even Unzen, Takachiro and Munakata won't be enough. Any thoughts?

Medaka's been in the bottom five for a couple months again now and just made it out this week by quite a bit (10th place). This was for chapter 66, the one with the interaction between Shiranui and Zen. Guess there's a lot of Zen x Shiranui shippers out there. :P

Oh, and Wow. These three chapters were so awesome. I really loved all the reaction faces, like the blindfolded guy's reaction to Kumagawa showing emotion.

While reading these, I thought up a theory. Kumagawa seems to really be determined to break Zen. I was thinking that a reason for this could be that he likes Medaka. Zen is definitely an obstacle if that's the case, probably even more so than the fact that Medaka hates him. I don't think Medaka would ever forgive anyone that killed Zen, but somehow I think she could manage to forgive just about any other harm inflicted on Zen, so as long as Kumagawa just gets rid of Zen without killing him. . .

It's definitely an out there theory, but I found it funny and kind of relevant.

Other things of interest were the color pages, all of chapter 70, and Medaka glomping a recovered Zen. This manga is so much fun.

Mhm, the translation explains some things, but there is one point, where I think they made a mistake:

In chapter 71 they translated "kanojo" as "girlfriend", when Kumagawa talked to Zenkichi about Ajimi. I think, it actually just meant "she".

Well, thankfully Medaka´s fandom is so small or the shipping war would be unavoidable.

But I wonder, why Kumagawa is so afraid to meet Ajimi? What is she? The girl he loved? His mistress?

You know, I really wouldn't be surprised if that was the case if he wanted to somehow play that card. Kumagawa is already a contradiction in many ways. Hating the elite while being secretly in love with one is right up his alley. The only damper on this is that he appears far more interested in Hitomi so that is really the only road block.

As for Kumagawa himself, reality warping confirmed like I thought. Also his constant continued verbal onslaught of Zenkichi and the poking fun at the nature of shonen manga was absolute gold. I could only imagine the horror that would be inflicted on the poor guy if Kumagawa got his way with his mom haha.

Its a good thing Medaka's mastery is detrimental in regards to a Minus. With as outright wacky as this series gets, her completing All-Fiction could result in turning the entire universe to "nothing" or something.

Man, I loving these past few chapters. A lot of people don't know what they're missing out on. Meh, guess it's still too weird for some .

I'm still holding my ground on that Kumagawa is one of the best villains in shounen right now.
