Okay I started playing Aqua's scenario and I'm getting my ass kicked. Like MAJORLY. I already finished Terra's and Ven's and I was totally not expecting Aqua to be so difficult.
I understand your supposed to do cartwheels and block, but I can't seem to adjust my playing style. Anyone got any tips for me? I can barely make it out of the courtyard of Castle of Dreams. And I'm playing on proud mode if you're wondering. |

Hunt bruisers, they'll help you lvlup faster than floods and pots. Remember, Aqua's the only player with a spherical barrier, meaning you can block ALL attacks, plus her cartwheel has a short range, so it enables a strong counter after dodging. Other than that...use your shotlock and D-Link with Ventus <Haste> or play the command board for a few commands, melding ASAP will make you stronger, especially if you go for HP boost or magic haste.
The first five levels or so are a pain, but after that Aqua becomes the strongest defender in the game. |

Funny how people are having problems with Aqua, when it's like that way for me with Terra. It's pretty difficult getting used to his very slow movements during the first few hours of gameplay, especially having just completed it first with Aqua.

I tried that too, he counters with renewal barrier the first time, stop/heal the second time and then he kept spamming doom on me...note that the doom counter never refreshes, so 2-3 times are enough to kill me unless I got Aqua D-Linked for auto-life. Anyway, thanks for the confirmation, gonna try harder!

Renewal Barrier is a major reason you don't want to lock more than 3 hits, that and you can end up in very compromising positions. I don't know why the guide recommended shoot locks, since it's a pretty bad strategy in general... you can use them to get a little extra damage in on occasion, though.
A lot of his patterns can also be blocked and countered, although you have to make sure you don't block when he uses the light whip or that's the end of you. |

And here I thought that the story will continue in that KH 3DS I guess when the ending states : 0.5, I instantly thought that this is going to be another chain of memories ;( I wonder if there'll be another new plot in the next upcoming series.
