Black Rock Shooter!!! Here her screaming!
Slicing your head like a laser beam... Too long to make amends and conditions, m..m..m..make me scream!!! Looks interesting, though seeing the screen shot and the original art it seems to be a bit off, though I like the design of the lead girl that looks like Miku.

Pretty darn epic. BTW, according to the pixiv tags, BRS's partner there is ブラック★ゴールドソー Black something, I can't make heads or tails of the "go-rudoso-" part. Anyone know what her name in English is?

Watch out, DRAGUN H.E.X., there are no Vocaloids at all in this thread. All these characters are 'Black★' characters who have no relation at all to Vocaloids.
As I mentioned on page 1, Quote:
Miku is only the singer who sang the theme song.

All the characters in the fan made pic are official characters. They are fan art of official characters designed by huke.
huke created these characters: * Dead Master * Black ★ Matagi * Black ★ Devil Girl * Black ★ Gold Saw * Black ★ Rock Shooter * Insane Black ★ Rock Shooter You can find them all on danbooru. EDIT: Oh and I should link huke's blog: http://huke.blog.shinobi.jp His original characters: http://huke.blog.shinobi.jp/Category/9/

Saki Fujita physical vocal range sound nothing like Miku...but then she can use a different voice. I always thought B*RS was Miku...
Now maybe I see why they animate B*RS then other pv sung by Miku, since it's not Miku herself and there is an actual plot to it.

Can't say I'm all too familiar with Black Rock Shooter, but I'm excited nonetheless. yeah I know BRS isn't connected to Hatsune Miku and Vocaloids in any way imaginable, but the possibility of a true Vocaloid anime can still be in the works somewhere down the road. For now, the animation quality for this is looking really awesome.
Does anyone know of an airdate or something? Even an estimation would be fine.

Miku was August 31 2007, wasn't she?
BRS was December 16, 2007 (according to the timestamps on huke's pixiv and blog). Although you could say BRS' design came before she became associated with Miku (the joint PV went up sometime June 2008), and that BRS was not inspired by Miku.

Well I was thinking BRS was conceptualized first before designed so... Miku was born when Japan decided to make their own Vocaloid. Correct me if I'm wrong because I'm assuming the synthesizer was originally not from Japan.
