A desperate call for suggestions.

The main idea of this thread isn't different from any other.
I would appreciate suggestions on some good Animes.
Basically I like ... no I Love mechas. Also action themed series with blood and/or a bit of romance in it are nice. And some mystery/horror would be good.

Anyway here is a list of Animes I have watched or soon run out of episodes, so You could have a idea on what I like.

Air
Black Blood brothers
Bleach, Shakugan no Shana (I somehow enjoy that mix of fantasy and real world, that happens in these two)
Blood +
Blue Gender
Code Geass
Crest of the Stars (also Banner of the Stars, and I can't remember the name of the third season)
Death Note
Fate stay night (my favorite Anime)
Full metal Panic: The second raid
Gantz
Ghost Hunt
Gundam Seed
Gundam Seed: Destiny
Gunparade March: Arata Naru Kougunka
Hellsing
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (the OP is simply the best.)
Kenran Butou Sai: The Mars daybreak
Last Exile
Mai-Hime
Soukou no Strain
The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
Utawarerumono (I hope I got the spelling right)

Try Now and Then, Here and There. Don't be put off by the somewhat childish-looking visuals. It has a good plot, good characters, some action, something like a romance, futuristic feel, etc.

If you have liked haruhi then try Ouran Koukou Host Club and School Rumble

If you liked action w/ blood and romance then definitely try Elfen Lied

I noticed that you had Gundam SEED and Destiny listed, but no other Gundam series. Try Gundam 08th MS Team - it has both action and romance, as well as one of the best fights in the entirety of Gundam shows. You don't need to know much about the UC universe to be able to get it, as it's basically about a small unit of grunts.

I third Monster. It's amazing.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm sure to try them.
I already watched Elfen Lied, and enjoyed it a lot, especially the bloody scenes. Definitely a good Anime to watch.
Also I'm sure to try out Monster, that some of You recommended.

I've yet to find any anime that appealed to me half as much as Elfen Lied...

Anyway, try watching Mai-Otome if you haven't. It's the sequal to Mai-Hime. Better, and much more moving if you ask me... Gah, now all I can do is think about Elfen Lied is over..

You could also try watching D. Gray-man, and Yoake Mae Yori Ruri Iro Na (for romance). Since you like AIR, you might want to try watching Kimi ga Nozomu Eien, though the theme is different than AIR but it's a good anime with tons of drama/romance in it. Try also Kanon (2006) and Kyoshiro to Towa no Sora while your at it.
