Anyone going to MCM expo this Octember?

hey everyone

ppl from England, anyone from this forum is going to MCM expo in Octember in London? me and a friend are going and its my frist time going to a Expo in England (been to the Manga expo in Hong Kong and Japan)

The MCM Expo is the Movie Comic & Media Expo held at Excel, Royal Victoria Docks, London over the weekend of 20-21 October 2007 if anyone was wondering.

Not sure if this should be in the General Anime forum or not. Since it covers move than just anime then I guess it being in the General Chat forum is OK.

Haven't been to this before (can't say I've even heard of it before this thread). This appears to the third Expo, Oct 2006, May 2007 and Oct 2007.

thats the link to the site, and really thats the only major anime expo in england (not sure)i know, it seems like a good show to go so i bought 2 tickets

England is too far from where I live. Crossing the Atlantic isn't cheap anymore.

im planning on going as well but would rather not put my hopes too high...knowing that this is england we are talking about...they are no match for places like Japan or even Hong Kong for that matter...(this would be my first time as well so its just great that i dont have a bar level already set )

I would like to go because I have never been to anything remotely like an anime convention before. But I very much doubt it. Time is a concept I am starting to despise as of late! I just don't have enough of it.

Also a bit low on cash lately as well, but if you want to lend me the dosh I'll pay you back next Auganuary lol.
