Anyone in Japan other than the producers of this anime who was able to get this reference real time (about 1.3 seconds) is sick well versed indeed. And as for the person who inserted that reference to begin with, he is one sick motha surely well versed as well.

Yuki was reading "real" books in a lot of episodes of the original broadcast and these books can be related more a less to the actual story of the episode. On several websites with Haruhi Trivia the books are listed and also on my website (but it's in German). I think there's also a list by the author that shows books Yuki likes to read. But "Time Enough for Love" isn't listed there^^.

Thanks. I read a ton of SF and it seems Yuki's taste in books coincides with mine

. The literal translation back to English would be "Time to Love." As soon as I saw it though I was sure it was the Heinlein novel. I could not make out the author name either (I could tell it was in katakana though.) I checked the title on Amazon to be sure before I posted.

The 'loss' of the director that designed the original Hare Hare Yukai is perhaps a little evident given the flair of the new ED. It will be interesting to see how things will go a month later when the new episodes start to roll out however.

I'm surprised how many times Nishiya's characteristics are pointed out her and there. You can point them out, so if you knew idea of animation director, you could memorize them together with the animation director's name. And then you could make a distinction between habits Nishiya has had since S1 and real changes a distance of three years caused. Almost all that were mentioned as changes I've read so far is the former.

But if things go on like this, someone might describe characteristics of Akitake and Takahashi which are difficult for me to convey in words. It'd be great.

I read they're re-airing all the old episodes again, are there any changes to these episodes at all, like better quality or anything? I don't wanna download them all again if I don't have to (:

One new epiosde so far. 13 more expected by sometime in October.

All the re-aired episodes are DVD quality/content.

Next new episode if expected in four weeks.

They are interleaving a re-airing of the original series in Kyon-chronological order with new episodes.

So you could think of it as "SHnY 2.0" or "SH, second season now with deja vu"

Who wants to bet they're going to offer an entire DVD collection where you get to "re-buy" the first season episodes along with the new episodes (evil laughter).

Actually, Haruhi's order was chronological. Kyon's is broadcast order.
