Kakurenbo - new digital anime

Kakurenbo ("Hide and Seek") is a new independent, digital anime title that's coming out soon. Anyone else seen the trailer yet? Its being distrubuted by the same company (CoMix Wave) that released Makoto Shinkai's Hoshi no Koe and soon, Beyond the Clouds.

Here is the official site with the trailer:
http://www.yamato-works.com/

BTW, the majority of the information on that website is also in their press release, which the site ActiveAnime has translated into English here:
ActiveAnime.com

Anyone else seen the trailer yet? It looks dark, very cool. I didn't even realize it was digital until partway through the video. The futuristic, dark look to the city looks cool, and I LOVE the masks. (Like the ones in Texhnolyze?) I wonder what type of mask they are...

Hmmm, I don't know of any...

It just might be licensed one day, as ADV licensed CoMix Wave's Hoshi no Koe and Grrl Power!. And after something like URDA Third Reich getting licensed by MediaBlasters, this just might have a chance...
