Well, if it is animated following the manga, it will be seperate/parralel story. No parasites, no magicians! Pure Mikoto action!... And more

And just because this is really awesome news, once more...
キタ━━━━(゚∀゚)━━━━!!

Most of the story of the original To Aru Kagaku no Railgun manga is a parallel sidestory set before Index's saving, so they'll most likely follow that format here.

The best part about this news is if it's a full series we might get Mikoto-tan.

Now this is some great news .

I've really enjoyed reading it and knowing it's getting animated really brightens my day. The more Mikoto the better I say. Heck since it should be pre-Index we can even get old Touma back though limited behind the true lead of this series .

Bees are drawn to beehives? Isn't that like saying that I'm drawn to my house?

Anyway, this is good news. Railgun seems to be of a higher quality than Index so far.

Yeah, should have said 'like bees to honey' but since honey is made in beehives in the first place... *shrug* Same basic principle, methinks.

Do we have any news on when we can expect this anime?

Touma in Railgun is "Touma done right". No endless preachy monologues, but rather a friendly and unpretentious helper in times of need. And awesome to rile up Mikoto ^_^

Anyway, Railgun is the Index universe done right. I'd love to get it!

sigh... why couldn't they have done the anime on this... really I just find index to be pretentious and her flare no where near as entertaining compared to misaka. Also misaka+makoto=win nothing else.

This is amazing.
Not many volumes of Railgun have been out, and they're already announcing anime!
Needless to say: I'm really looking forward to it.
