Devil May Cry 3 now the second worse selling game in the series in Japan. That hurts considering that's my most played and fave to this day, and loved by many other fans of the series. I'm glad it beat DmC in saies, but it still just kills me inside calling it second worse in the series.

It's the special edition, meaning most of Japan would have already own the original edition.

It had negative reception since the "My name is Donteh", trailer.

The game was born dead.

It shouldn't be news anymore since pretty much EVERY SINGLE GAMING SITE has been demonizing anyone who has anything to criticize about the game.

Every review I've read till now almost praises the new change to DMC as a top decision that saved the series. They overlook the critical points and enforce the opinion that fans wouldn't have been content if the series kept going like it did in part 4 and 3.

DMC reboot and Bayonetta 2 going to WiiU are those things that make me sad about the future of regular hack n slash games I used to enjoy.
