Forth post and this time its a big duo combo because we finally have the revelation of LN Volume 19 and manga's chapter 42 too because the latter seems to be a break chapter is considered to be a break chapter because what comes next will be an uphill battle for Hiroto and co. The same thing cannot be said for LN Volume 19, however, as in the Light Novel counterpart, it seems whatever happened in Volume 18 got Hiroto into high water and it will going to take more than miracles for him to actually survive even his rivals' own trap-one that will forever ruin Hybride if they succeed...and they don't even give a care about .

The Kingdom of Hybride is on a verge of collapsing?

Curele had destroyed Duke Hydran's villa. The full -scaled conflict between Duke Hydran and the vampires ended with the duke's apology, but consequentially this also begins the predicament of Hiroto the State of Secretary for he will be prohibited from meeting the foreign ambassadors. Worst still, Belffergo and others are holding a secret meeting and it is decided that Hiroto and the vampires must be impeached. If Leonidas the young king agree with the solution, then Hiroto will be expelled from the court; should he defends Hiroto, Hybride will be in disarray and he is yet to seek any solution in regards of Magia compensation issue. In the midst of all affair, Hiroto is visited by an unexpected messenger.

In the Isekai Adventure, will Hiroto be the singing the song of glory and triumph or..

In a way, this is by far one of the darkest storyline of the series where the antagonists seemly have Hiroto and others cornered and planning to exploit the said incident. To add even more complications, Magia and even Regulus are now being part of the aristocrats' plot to oust Hiroto from power and even yeet Leonidas from the throne too-an infighting that will consequently lead to Hybride's destruction.

Spoiler for Antagonists of Volume 19 :

1. First and foremost is these vindictive aristocrats (of course, why wouldn't they?) who are not really on a path of rebellion. In the previous books, they tried and failed to bring Hiroto to their heels but now, it seems the destruction of Hydran's mansion courtesy to Curele could be their best bet to get rid of Hiroto once and for all. Heck, even from the last book, there were so many aristocrats who already shown their disdain for Hiroto to the pointing refused to visit Leonidas Expect [B]Belffergo, Rasmus, Lemaire, Margus, Finnath and especially Hydran[/B are now going to slay both Hiroto and the vampires should Leonidas refused to comply with their demands.
   1. Margus took his vendetta against Hiroto extremely personal because while he and other demanded Hiroto and the vampires to be expelled from Emperia, his own daughter got cursed instead for not only losing her own eyesight, but also converting her into a skeleton as the result. Considering Sorceire's own experience as a Skeleton Girl once back in Sorceire Arc, that girl should be alive and so long she is given some amount of money she should be back to normal, right? Nope. Rather than actually trying to break the curse, Margus declared her dead and even blame Hiroto for his own baby girl's curse instead.
   2. Noblesia's Gollard also hold a deepest grudge against Hiroto for the death of his father and brother and also vows to slay Hiroto once and for all. The funny thing is that this is despite most of Bourgault's tragedy stem from his protecting his older boy Pollard despite his rape of Cecilia in the first place.
   3. And there's more: Governors of other provinces like Lucaria (ルシャリア), Auxerre　(オセール) & Ecusia (エキュシア) are also supporting the aristocrats' revenge against Hiroto and others in the name of "honor".
2. Sadly, this brings us the second antagonist is Magia and Regulus again. Yes, really. Especially in Lisvaon (Sorry for the naming thing because I almost got that wrong)In the last book, since Leonidas has yet to solve the the 50 year old Magia compensation due to Lindred's (Grandpa one, not the grandson) accidental murder, both Belffergo and Rasmus suggested Hydran to make a letter to lie to both Urseus and Cognidus about the situation in Hybride which fanning the flames of hostility for both kingdoms against Leonidas and Hiroto. Since Lizvorn made her early debut in the last book and her major appearance in Volume 19, it is no surprise that she will play a prominent role in not only the diplomatic relationship between Magia and Hybride or even the fate of Hiroto and vampires, but also the balance of the continent itself because I've got a funny feeling that without Hiroto, the entire continent that is near the Terminus River will be in disarray. Unfortunately for her, as good as her credibility is, her personality is as egotistical and naive as Freyas due to her pride as a Magia warrior who refused to kowtow to anybody, without even knowing that she has been completely duped by Hydran of all people who trying to sway her not paying the compensation to Hybride.
   1. Nestoria is back and yes, even to this day she still hold her hostility against Hiroto because she blames him for Urseus's deteriorating health (heart attack maybe?) and even advises Lisvaon to be wary about Hiroto but the warrior princess reassures her that Magia . Well, tell that to Freyas and even your brother Urseus about their own experience with Hiroto.
   2. Worst, she is accompanied by an elf by the name Ordicus (オルディカス) who seemly also displeased by Hybride's demand for Magia's compensation about Lindred's death. Reason? Well, Magia has already payed some amount of money to compensate the damage it has done to its western neighbor. What Ordicus doesn't even realize is that he too have been fooled by Hydran and don't even know that the duke has been consumed by his hatred against

P.S.: The good news is that King Leonidas refused to impeach both Hiroto and the vampires but the bad news is that this decision only exacerbate the situation as he has not allies at his side other than Hiroto and others (Panopticus, Univestel, Raquel, Felkina and probably Sylferis, yes the last I spelt correctly)

As for manga chapter 42, things are getting quite relaxing when we seeing not only the ladies having their fun time in the Hot Springs, but also Excelis who seemly begin to widen her perspective about Hiroto shortly after her conversation with Hiroto, which will foreshadowing her as a would-be ally to Hiroto in the future. It would be a short analysis.




Manga Chapter 42

Spoiler for Manga Chapter 421:

1. The manga begins with all the girls are having a hot spring bath somewhere at Secondaria. Here, Valkyria not only thanking Sorceire for saving Luluk (Slara's baby boy) from the mean couple from the city, she also teasing her for liking Hiroto. Did Sorceire just worried about her bust size?
2. Next, Hiroto and Soichiro entering the bath and its Hiroto is getting the most surprise of them all with all three girls want to play the "Whose Oppai is it" game with her. Fan service is all over the place and it seems Hiroto is having his own fun alright. Also, it looks like Sorceire refuse to lose to both Valkyria and Mimia.
3. Moving on, we see Excelis begin with a remark about Hiroto for being a young yet insightful person who is much different than the castle lords she confronted in her lives: Hiroto not only explained to Excelis about Feuillet's three steps to gain advantages for victory in the upcoming election, he ensured that so long he has the same votes as Feuillet's, there is a even slight chances for him to win the election. Not to say she is not skeptical about Hiroto's plan, but his gentle approach and wisdom seemly prompting her to put a smile on her face.

In conclusion, Manga chapter 42 is technically a relaxing chapter before the upcoming storm and this is just the beginning. Actually, I should take that back about Chapter 41 for dismissing Feuillet's 3 steps in securing his victory. The latest chapter finally explains this which itself explains why our main antagonists going so smug about it.

Spoiler for Feuillet's 3 steps to secure his win in the upcoming election.:

1. First, he will enact his Unified Development Order and trying to get all 7 Southern Castle Lords at his side but leaving Marcel Lords and other alone for a time being, then encouraging these 4 to sign up a contract with her, with a purpose of demoralizing her.
2. Then, he deliberately cut off the wheat supply to Solum so he can lure him to Secondaria because he expecting both the Diferente himself and the Elves Association to panicked.
3. Third and lastly, Feuillet will depend on Glinka Lord's massive resources in order to gain more votes, which resulting Hiroto's own lost to Feuillet despite gaining Polowa's vote in the end.

Firth post already and this is going to be more intense I am anticipated because apparently the antagonists in this books can't just let their ego. Ya know, to see the same antagonists keep blaming Hiroto for technically almost everything despite they were the one who started the whole mess in the first place is extremely...well, how shall I put it...all yes, pathetic. It almost sounds to me that none of them learn a darn thing even after seeing their ploy keep failing to keep Hiroto down.

Call me nuts to say this but do these antagonists even have self-awareness about their own destruction to Hybride? Anyways, here is the first 3 preview illustrations about Volume 19





For those who are curious what is all about, here is some small description right down below about the first 3 illustrations.

1. The first one starting with Hiroto walking with both Raquel and Felkina as they are very concerned about the upcoming revolt from the aristocrats. with the Duchess herself claims that Belffergo and others will mostly likely holding a meeting that will force Leonidas to impeach our MC and the vampires.
2. Next, we see both Mimia and Sorceire who receive a box and in it, it is some jewels by Count Margus as his apology for his house did to Mimia. Lets just say that this "apology" is not genuine considering his loathe for Hiroto....
3. Third one featuring a rather happy face of Zeldis after reading a letter that is written by Curele himself. Ain't this is sweet?

Will be talking about the analysis of the story based on preview chapters of both Volume 18 & Volume 19 soon.

Sixth post already and this should've been the world's attention right now because of the stakes are getting higher and god knows. In my personal experience of reading the series whilst making speculations, is one of the most darkest entry in the Kou 1 Joshu series where our heroes are really getting cornered by the antagonists who took advantage onto Hybride's peril in order to achieve their vile goal: Impeach Hiroto and the vampires. Once again, it will going to take more than miracles for Hiroto to at least survive the domestic enemies' scheme against him, much less clearing the misunderstanding from Magia and Regulus. Speaking of Magia and Regulus, it seems that-to my knowledge, BTW-that neither of these 2 kingdoms realized that they have been duped by the aristocrats simply because they what they did now only reviving their past rivalry against Hybride that should've been snuffed out by the end of Volume 15, and their pride only making things worse for them.

Once again, For those who are curious what is all about, here is some small description right down below about the first 3 illustrations.

1. Firstly, we see Excelis trying to comfort Hiroto by pressing her assets behind his back...as always. Given the mounting shenanigans since Curele destroyed Hydran's home incident, things are only getting grimmer for Hiroto because unless he does have a plan, both his and the vampires' future are going to be bleak.
2. Next, we see the intense rivalry between Leonidas and Lisvaon as they argue like cats and dogs: Leonidas is already in a very foul mood to listen any advice (including Hiroto's unfortunately) but Lisvaon only exacerbate the situation with her own uncouth attitude (not that she ever know that Hydran is using both Magia and Regulus to get rid of both Hiroto and the vampires and even Leonidas). It doesn't even matter who "win" their argument because both of them will realize have been played by Belffergo and others. Speaking of these fools... Will Hiroto be back to actually stop the damage once his position is actually restored?
3. Third seemly illustrates a close-relationship between Soichiro and Curele. Ain't that sweet?

Believe me, this isn't the first nor the last time Hiroto being surrounded by haters whose beef with the guy was due to jealousy. Jealous about Hiroto's ongrowing influence and fame as well as his rewards that exceeded even the veteran ministers in the kingdom. The unfortunate part of the said rivalry is many of the haters refuse to learn a darn thing from their past mistakes and continue to smear and belittle our MC with scorn, even though whatever they doing now only make their own worse rather than Hiroto's.

I've got some minor details of the said incident about Curele destroying Duke Hydran's house and I take that back about her destroying only the roof of the house. She destroyed the whole thing!

Spoiler for Volume 18's latter events (Curele's destruction of Duke Hydran's house (Abridged version) :

1. At Emperia, enter Rubia, the daughter of Count Margus the ruler of Emperia's neighboring province who works at the capital. She belittled Mimia due to her peasant status, so she pulled a prank on Mimia by putting a caterpillar onto her during bath time make an mockery about "being friends". Soichiro caught her doing it and hit her for trying to bully Mimia and punished her for it by pushing her down.
2. Rubia eventually reported her injury to Hydran without even a slight of remorse and Hydran, being a vindictive nobleman as he is due to his scorn for Hiroto, agreed to teach Soichiro a lesson by forcing him apologize to her. His secretary Monica warned him that messing with a Diferente such as Hiroto and Soichiro would be a very bad idea because of their good relationship with the vampires but Hydran brushed it off as he didn't view the Diferente as king and he has no reason to listen to them.
3. Whilst Excelis was comforting a crying Mimia, Soichiro on the other hand was summoned to Hydran's residence where the Duke demanded him to apologize to Rubia on Hiroto's behalf. Hearing this made Soichiro assumed that the Duke trying to humiliate his friend, so he refused. This only ended up him being pinned down by the 2 guards and he would be stay that way until he apologize.
4. Hiroto heard this from Sorceire about Mimia's bullying by Rubia and the news about Soichiro at Hydran's mansion worried him so much that he needed to go there and demand his release, though he was unable to do so because that place was exclusive for royalty. Luckily for him, Sylferis came by and offered her help and with her as his company, Hiroto managed to stop Hydran and Rubia from humiliating Soichiro further. This garnered Hydran's ire as he viewed Hiroto's "visit" as intrusion only to back down when Sylferis let her authority known.
5. Sylferis then interrogated Rubia about her bullying Mimia and when the latter refused to admit a thing, mostly out of her pride as the daughter of a renowned aristocrat, the Deputy Archbishop immediately declaring her family's excommunication as her penalty to the point prohibiting her from working at the palace again. It was that declaration made Rubia panicked so much that she immediately apologized to Mimia albeit Sylferis's pressure, kneeling down before her and asked her for forgiveness. Hiroto forgave Rubia on Mimia's behalf and then demanded Hydran to release Soichiro next. When the Duke refused while berating him for this impudent order, our MC retaliated by warning the Duke that because the vampires' bond with Soichiro (and himself included) are their trusted allies, any harm upon them will garner their rage and they will seek retribution and it will not going to be pretty-starting by destroying the entire mansion. As angry as he was because he insisted that royalty is untouchable, Hydran eventually (and begrudgingly) released Soichiro because of Hiroto's own stare at him, with Sylferis retracting the excommunication of House Margus and all four of them leaving the mansion afterwards. What will going to happen next will vindicating Hiroto's claim and it will going to haunt and even traumatize Hydran for the rest of his life...
6. Shortly after their return, Curele asked Soichiro to read more books but this time the latter said he was not going to do it. When Valkyria asked what's going on, Hiroto was in panic mode because he need to find ways to avert the vampires from attacking the Duke only to be baffled by Sylferis making the kick-the-hornet's-nest move by telling Valkyria the whole truth. Needless to say, this made Valkyria extremely furious and stomping her way to Hydran's mansion and vowed to make him pay for what he did to Soichiro; not helping the situation when guards pointing spear at her which Hiroto deemed this as this only adding gasoline into the fire. Despite the efforts of Hiroto and even Sylferis, they were unable to persuade Valkyria to stop as she summoned Curele to attack everything in order to avenge Soichiro, forcing them to take cover when Curele (with her eyes is glowing red, angry red) blowing everything including the guards away with a single swoop. This means business for Valkyria and she is not fooling around.
7. Meanwhile, inside the mansion, Monica and Hydran were arguing about paying compensation to Hiroto with the Duke persisted of not doing it because of his status as a royalty. The argument only stopped when the whole mansion was shaken by what happened out side and when the roof was blown away, they confronted an angry Curele who was dead set on (trying) to kill Hydran flying towards them again only to be missed when all of them immediately evacuating the entire mansion, which was now reduced into nothing but a rubble of bricks by the time Curele done doing damage. It was only then Hydran now kneeing in front of Soichiro and plead for forgiveness by presenting him some jewelries (especially the pearls) to him as the compensation for their last mistreatment against him minutes ago. While Sylferis claimed that it was not enough, Hiroto on the other hand accepting the jewelries on Soichiro and calling Rubia and the two guards to apologize to Soichiro, mostly out of fear and trauma. With Soichiro eventually accepted the said, Valkyria called Curele to stop and with everything is solved, Soichiro vowed to Curele that he would not going to refuse to read her stories ever again.
8. Consequently, the following wake of the Curele's Destruction incident eventually spread across Emperia, and Finnath was the first to call Hiroto out for it and even demand him to be impeached, with his claim about destroying the Duke's mansion means defiance against a royalty of the kingdom and the penalty for that is death. Fortunately for Hiroto, many people (Leonidas, Univestel, Sylferis, Panopticus, Raquel and Felkina) defended Hiroto by claiming that Hybride cannot afford to throw away vampires' trust, therefore our MC is safe. For now. Therefore, the trial postponed on to the next day but Hiroto and his peers worried that it

And the curse of the capital in Hybride isn't exactly new in the series either because it happened once before, and that is long before Hiroto and Soichiro being summoned either considering Sylferis's main concern of the incident that will bring chaos to the kingdom. As briefly detailed in Volume 19's preview chapters....

Spoiler for Volume 19 in regards of the curse:

According to one Hybride legend from hundred years ago, there was a bloody feud between one aristocrat and the Skeletons due to the former's one-sided unreasonable disgust towards the latter. During the said conflict, the queen chose to side with the said aristocrat instead and do nothing to solve the feud. Consequently, the Spiritual Light cursed the king by transforming his left hand into a skeleton. It took a punishment of the queen and the knights who were responsible for the mess, along with the reparations for the Skeletons that his left hand is restored back to normal.

OK, with the book is finally released and man, it is really a blast to see how much the story is progressing, considering this is by far one of the most intense arc of all especially when Hiroto feels the pinch for the first time.

Now, because V19 is technically a Part 2 of V18's Part 1, that means there is a lot of cover so I will going to take time to review and even put some thoughts about them whenever I have time. Real life stuff happens. Anyways, here are the spoilers for the ending of the V19.

Spoiler for Fate of the Conspirators (Hybride):

1. Both Hydran and Belffergo have their power stripped and their downfall are served as a warning to all the aristocrats who had every problem with Hiroto, Leonidas and the vampire. More on that later.
   1. Hydran will be demoted from Duke to Count and not only he is kicked out from the Privy Council, his Right for the Succeeding the throne is also stripped-meaning that he will never compete for the vacant crown ever again-and to be confined in his ruined mansion until his dying days.
   2. Belffergo, non the other hand, is sentenced to death for his plot against Leonidas's request of Magia's compensation whilst approaching Phyllis and Gassel without permission, which is a big crime and it is considered as betraying Hydran according to Univestel.
2. As for the other aristocrats who also loathed Hiroto whilst attending a secret meeting that was hosted by Belffergo? They each pay 5,000 Vint of fine for their attendance the said meeting. In fact, almost all of them are demoralized by Belffergo's execution and Hydran's house arrest that they lose their will to fight and begrudgingly giving Leonidas homage.
3. Finnath is also getting kicked out from the Privy Council for his role in meeting Agnika under Belffergo's order. To add insult to injury, he has to pay 10,000 Vint for his own involvement into Belffergo's plot; moreover, Leonidas bestows Finnath's former position to Felkina, making her as the new Secretary of Finances of the Privy Council Member.
4. As for Hydran who is now confined in his own ruined mansion? Lets just say that he is a broken man who spends most of his life chasing butterflies.

The other 5 kingdoms are also affected by the events of V19:Some gain, some lose but more importantly, the bad blood between Hybride and Magia ends in this very book.

Spoiler for Other 5 kingdoms:

1. Due to the blind protest against Leonidas's "demands" courtesy to Belffergo's lies, Regulus will have a troubling future ahead when Leonidas bans any Regulus folks (starting with Ordicus himself) from visiting Hybride ever again because he no longer respects the Elven Republic after Ordicus disrespected him even during their first meeting, all because of his own bias against Leonidas. Heck, Univestel pointing that out and tells Ordicus that stuff like this could've averted had Regulus actually paid attention to what Leonidas said and at least tried to understand his motive. Now, Cognidus has to summon all senators for the meeting in regards of Regulus's future diplomacy, presumably damage control to secure Regulus's status.
2. Agnika is also suffering its greatest lost too and that is Hydran after his demotion and confinement in his estate, considering him being the kingdom's most important link to its relationship with Hybride. Out of everyone, Lyndrus possibly the only person who sympathizes Hydran because the (former) Duke's late wife was his niece and the reason behind his path of darkness, really.
3. Gassel, on the other hand, seeing Ismir glorying Dorsel and calls him as a hero after hearing news that Leonidas agrees to dispatch Hiroto to pay the kingdom a visit. signifying the bond between Gassel and Hybride .
4. Phyllis is the only one enjoy the popcorn from the sidelines when Eesh is laughing at Belffergo's stupidity by trying to manipulate Metis and ruin her friendship with Hiroto.
5. Surprisingly, despite being also manipulated by Belffergo and Hydran, it seems Magia get what it wished for as it accept Leonidas's agreement about him not pressuring for the compensation, courtesy to Hiroto who dispels this misunderstanding by explaining the real story about Leonidas's request of Magia's compensation issue to Lisvaon, who then realize that it is far different than what she heard from Hydran and even Ordicus . In fact, both Leonidas and Urseus reunite at a harbor for first time in 5 years and call off their rivalry, and Linbeld himself has forgiving Roxan and tell him to let go the burden, implying the reconciliation between Hybride and Magia and ending their 50 year long rivalry for good.

And then, here are some of my questions about whatever is going on

Spoiler for Personal Questions about a Post V19:

1. Does the downfall of Hydran, Belffergo and Finnath really means that Hiroto doesn't has any enemies in Hybride?
2. What would Regulus act now when Hybride is technically cutting ties with it due to Leonidas no longer respect it?
3. Will Hiroto's adventure of going West goes beyond of either Agnika and Gassel?
4. Even after both Hybride and Magia have now reach their real peace, Nestoria seemly the only one holding her grudge against Hiroto because of Urseus's defeat by it. How would she going forward after this?
5. Lastly, whatever happened to Orfina post Moldius's passing? And where was she when Belffergo was executed whilst Finnath getting booted out from the Privy Council, considering both of them are her distant relatives?

^Not a problem, but that is just a small partial of the said summary. The real one is just the beginning because this will be the longest one of all the stories.

That aside, here is my personal summaries for these 2 books after reading and, believe it or not, these 2 books is a 2-Parter of one story arc: V18 is Part 1 while V19 is the Part 2. I will go for the overall summary for both book first because there are so many details about this need to be discussed, one that will determined the future of the series and how will it moving forward when Hiroto's domestic enemies are now being dealt with, if I may add.

P.S.: Sorry for the late review because I had some important business at hand.

• In Emperia, Leonidas is waiting for the 12 aristocrats to send him some homage but most of them are either not attending at all or coming late on purpose, all because none of them want to recognize him as their new king.
• Out of the 12 aristocrats, only Margus attends for the homage but Leonidas finds him to be extremely suspicious. Turns out that Margus is one of many snobbish and arrogant aristocrats who loathe Hiroto with spite.
• Anyways, both Leonidas and Hiroto discuss Magia's compensation to Hybride due to the murder of the former Governor of Lunisia-who happens to be Linbeld's granddad-by an unnamed Magia hunter 50 years ago, one of which started a war between both kingdoms. Hiroto seemly trying to dissuade Leonidas from trying to pressure Magia for the money, but the young king seemly want to collect the due. Anyhow, Leonidas also agree in appointing both Raquel and Felkina as advisors for the Privy Council under Hiroto's suggestion.
• The Privy Council meeting then begins with Finnath continues his verbal hostility towards Hiroto only to be berated by Leonidas for it. In this same meeting, Hydran request to have Belffergo to be part of the Privy Council as well as requests to be assigned to deal with the relationship between Hybride and Agnika, but Leonidas denies all of the Duke's request due to the commotion failure back in V16. This causes Hydran bitterly ranting that he should be king instead of his nephew, all the while blaming Hiroto for his own undoing.
• While Hiroto and friends leave Emperia and visit the vampires at the forest where Gezerkia and Disgurd are now residing, [B]Hydran[B] is approached by both Belffergo and Rasmus who speak about their plans to kick Hiroto out from politics for good. Prior to the meeting, Belffergo has already hatching a plan to get rid of both Hiroto and Leonidas from power via manipulating Magia since Leonidas want Magia to pay up its 50-year old compensation to Hybride, against Rasmus's skepticism I might add. This will be the Belffergo's third, no forth and last chance to defeat Hiroto because this time, it will cost his life and even tarnishing his legacy.
• Anyways, to starting things off, Belffergo dispatch 2 of his messengers to Magia and Regulus respectively in order to spread the leak about Leonidas's request of Magia's compensation (which was discussed during the Kingship Recommendation Meeting back in V17) in order to slander the king with lies and making sure that he will be shunned forever. And it works.
  1. Regulus is the first to take that bait because of that leak and it leads to their outrage against Leonidas to the point dismissing Univestel's messengers' own trying to explain the story. Even Cognidas of all people is easily fooled by Belffergo's deceit but at least he is wary about Hiroto.
  2. As for Magia, Urseus and his court is also angry to learn this but Lagos the Prime Minister calms him down and suggests to send Lisvaon-the princess of Magia who appears in the prologue of V18- to go to Magia and negotiate with Leonidas and see if he can cancel the compensation. Urseus openly opposes this suggestion out of fear that Hiroto will defeat his sister (he is not wrong about Hiroto's credibility because he speaks it from experience, though he is also guilty for buying Belffergo's lies as much as Regulus do), but ends up getting ridiculed by his paranoia. What further fanning Lisvaon's misunderstanding towards Hybride is Nestoria's lies based on her own bias towards Hiroto, and she buys that lies because of her pride as both a warrior and a royalty.
• Meanwhile, at the forest, Curele and Soichiro are playing at the garden that make Gezerkia and Disgurd envious about their relationship. Hiroto then appears and give both Gezerkia and Disgurd some pearls as their gift, much to the duo's delight (especially Disgurd who recalling her late father's gift to him) and Gezerkia hugs him as a appreciation. Harboring feelings for Hiroto already? Anyways, Hiroto and co. then return to Emperia afterwards and this is where things are about to get dicey and interesting onwards.
• Enter Rubia, the daughter of Margus and one of the royal servants in Emperia who belittles Mimia due to her "peasant" status. One day, she makes a prank on Mimia by putting a caterpillar during bath time and mockingly telling her to "lets be friends", only to be pushed away by Soichiro because her jerkish attitude. Rather than reflecting her faults, Rubia report that incident to Hydran and because both Hydran and Rubia are acquaintances, the Duke opts to Soichiro him a "lesson" whilst dismissing his aide Monica's warning about the severe consequences of doing something bad onto a Diferente like Hiroto and Soichiro.
• Whilst Excelis comforting a crying Mimia afterwards, Soichiro confronts Hydran as the Duke demands his apology to Rubia on behalf of Hiroto. Feeling that the Duke is trying to humiliate his friend, Soichiro refuses and he get pinned down by Hydran's knights and forced to bend his knee to Rubia instead. Fortunately, Hiroto manage to barged into the Duke's mansion and stop the Duke from keep humiliating Soichiro, albeit Sylferis's authority. Bare in mind that Hydran's mansion is exclusive for only noblemen and those who are higher than them.
• Anyways, Sylferis interrogates Rubia regarding Mimia's bullying but the latter refuses to admit anything. It takes Sylferis's declaration of her family's excommunication from Emperia-meaning that Margus's family will be not only no longer to be associated with other big shots in Emperia, but the family will also becoming vulnerable to the Spiritual Lights' curse-makes Rubia realizes how serious the incident was and immediately begs Mimia for forgiveness. Hiroto forgives Rubia on Mimia's behalf and demands Hydran to let Soichiro go and warns him that the vampires will going to seek retribution to those who harm their allies-starting by destroying his mansion, much to the Duke's anger but scoffs at Hiroto for his "insolence" because who would dare to harm a noblemen such as he? Nevertheless, Hydran begrudgingly orders his knights to let Soichiro go after seeing Hiroto's eyes that creeps him out. In return, Sylferis cancels Margus family's excommunication because of it. What follows afterwards will going to haunt Hydran for a very long time.
• Then, the vampire sisters notice something off about Soichiro when he tells Curele that he will not going to read her stories, and after learning what was going on via Sylferis's explanation, Valkyria stomps towards the mansion and vows to make Hydran pay for harming Soichiro by calling Curele to destroy his mansion, in which mortifies Hiroto as he is helpless to stop it. Curele's rampage forces Hydran and others to escape narrowly from the crumbling mansion and the sight of it causes the Duke (along with his aide Monica , then Rubia and the 2 knights afterwards) to immediately kneel to both Valkyria and Soichiro and apologize to them. Not only Soichiro forgives the 3 tormenters, he also promises to Curele that he will never say that he will not going to read her stories ever again.
• The following incident bring shockwave to entire Emperia: Whilst Leonidas and even Sylferis are joking about the destroyed mansion, Finnath on the other hand take the incident extremely seriously as he views this as a "rebellion" against the nobility, to the point even demands the impeachment of Hiroto from the Privy Council and having the vampires to be dismissed as their "punishment" for what they did to Hydran. Luckily for Hiroto, his allies (Leonidas, Univestel, Panopticus, Sylferis, Raquel and Felkina) defends him and thus the impeachment trial will be postposed....for now.

Spoiler for Volume 19's Summary Abridged version. :

• Hiroto may escapes from being impeached but he, along with Felkina and Raquel, worries that Belffergo will take advantage on the situation and muster all of his haters across Hybride to push the impeachment trial. Univestel & Sylferis are also concerned about this situation as they remark the aristocrats' (except Felkina and Linbeld) folly that will endanger Hybride's own existence if they still refuse to cooperate with Leonidas.
• Hydran, now living in his carriage after the destruction of his mansion, goes 180 and take back his regret about humiliating Soichiro that resulted his mansion's destruction and vows vengeance upon both Hiroto and the vampires for his latest humilliation. Meanwhile, Belffergo sends out letters to aristocrats across Hybride for a secret meeting in order to avenge Hydran's humilliation and holds a secret meeting with the said aristocrats for their plot to destroy Hiroto. Cue the aristocrats' (including Lemaire and Collard) are outrage after learning Hydran's destroyed mansion and vows to seek retribution against Hiroto in the name of their "pride and honor".
• Margus, one of the would-be attendee of the said aristocrats meeting, begrudgingly brings up some of his family treasures to Mimia as his apology on his behalf, though said "apology" is less sincere because Margus himself doesn't seem to care what kind of treasure (something that will give bad omen to his family, I think) he will give to Mimia and he isn't shy to express his hatred for Hiroto, given a shocking reaction from Sylferis's messenger. Regardless, Sylferis delivers the said treasure to Mimia and under Sorceire's advice, she accepts the treasure.
• Meanwhile, an Elven ambassador (presumably the new character Ordicus) visits Salabria and while he is surprised to see the elves praises Hiroto, he also meet Soichiro and asks him about Hybride's relationship with other kingdoms, in which Soichiro replies that everything is good expect the Magia which rubbing the Elven ambassador the wrong way...
• ]In the aristocrats' secret meeting, all the attendees speak up their hatred against Hiroto-along with Leonidas and the vampires-and make him pay for his "insolence" by to oust them from power, all to avenge their past humiliation by him (that is despite that they were the one who brought that to themselves). Out of everyone, however, only Rasmus opposes their quest of revenge as fears that this plan will backfired terribly while reminding them about Hiroto's prowess and merits that earned him many powerful allies to his side. What does Rasmus get for that advice? He gets ridiculed by the aristocrats for it because at this point, since all of them want to save face and secure their reputation and such, all of these aristocrats are too angry and stubborn to listen to reason. Then again, what can Rasmus do even his friend Belffergo is so confident about his plan that he brushes off his concern about making Leonidas mad (he is plaining to manipulate the young king's emotions).
• Elsewhere, Hiroto and Excelis pay Linbeld a visit and gives him the pearls they received from Disgurd as the proof of someone being Magia's resident. That someone is Roxan, he former Magia hunter who accidentally killed the former Governor of Lunisia. Both Hiroto and Excelis meet the guy in person and hear his stories about the incident regarding of the murder of Linbeld's grandad, which the former hunter still regrets even to this day. Speaking of Disgurd, she is also meet Roxan via Hiroto.
• Eventually, Lisvaon and Ordicus meet up with Hydran and through the Duke's lies along with Ordicus's half-right assumptions about Hiroto (he only guess one thing right about the name change from the leaked information but rather than dig it out why, he immediately jump the gun instead), Lisvaon opts to not give Hybride the compensation nor the tribute money without even realizes that she (and Ordicus, ironically) has been hoodwinked by the real scoundrel.
• Meanwhile, Hiroto is shocked to see Rasmus appears and informs Leonidas that the aristocrats will present them their homage if Hiroto quits his position while the vampires are "punished" for . This certainly infuriates Leonidas so much that he have Rasmus to be jailed in spite of Hiroto's warning that this is part of Belffergo's sinister plan. Unfortunately, he is vindicated because...
• Turns out that even Rasmus's arrest is part of Belffergo's plan for he now adding more demands in order to break Leonidas: Release Rasmus or the aristocrats will continue defy the king and pressuring him to impeach both Hiroto and the vampires from power. In order to secure Hybride's stability, Hiroto surprisingly (and reluctantly) agrees to release Rasmus but, for better or worse, the arrival of 5 ambassadors (Metis, Dorsel, Lokroi, Lisvaon and Ordicus) from their respective 5 countries (Phyllis, Gassel, Agnika, Magia & Regulus) seemly put the impeachment trial on-hold, for now...
• Out of all ambassadors, however, only Lisvaon and Ordicus rudely pick a fight with Leonidas as the princess tells the king that Magia will not pay compensation nor the congratulation money to Hybride, and Ordicus adding the fuel by insulting Leonidas to his face about him being a "coward", which makes Hiroto confused as he doesn't know which whistleblower leaked such information to outsiders.
• The meeting is then taking place afterwards but nobody knows who is the whistleblower and the villains (Hydran and Finnath) surely refuse to admit themselves, obviously. Then, Hiroto makes the hardest decision by making a huge gamble solve this crisis: He will personally resign as the Secretary of State if he fail to solve the Magia compensation issue.
• In the meantime, Hiroto have both Felkina and Raquel to meet both Lokroi and Dorsel respectively while he himself visit Metis in order to explain to them about Hybride's latest situation. Unfortunately, Belffergo (Metis and then Dorsel) and Finnath (Lokroi) got there first and lied to them about Leonidas and Hiroto's in regards of Magia compensation. Ergo, all 3 ambassadors tells both Hiroto and his allies that they want nothing to do with Hybride's latest trouble, though it seems Metis and Dorsel are the only one finding Belffergo to be too fiendish to be trusted.
• Ordicus then pays Univestel a visit but despite the latter warns the former about Hydran, he insists that Leonidas is the "real danger" instead, much to Univestel's disappointment. He then visits Hiroto next but in spite of Hiroto's lengthy remark about Urseus being the coward and what Regulus did only worsen the situation, Ordicus fires back by asking Hiroto about what if Leonidas plan to attack Magia and then deliver a blow by claiming that Hiroto's dream of eternal peace between all kingdoms is nothing but a "fantasy".
• Meanwhile, Lisvaon is delighted about her premature "victory" over Hiroto to the point even belittling both Urseus and Nestoria for their troubles in dealing with him. She and her squad (including Nestoria) then encountering Curele and the vampires flying by but just as the princess want to challenge them into a fight, a cockroach appears and causes her to scream with fear. Yes, the uncouth warrior princess is afraid of cockroach. Seeing Curele beating the cockroach with ease without fear amazes Lisvaon but she is even more stunned to hear Nestoria's explanation about the little vampires' reputation for crushing Magia Army back in V13, to the point even prompts her to wonder how is such "dangerous" monster like Curele be one of Hiroto's allies. Still, that doesn't even mean that she will meet Hiroto anytime soon, under Ordicus's "advice" (he continue to spew his bias against Leonidas but seemly acknowledge meeting Hiroto will ruin their plan.) may I add.
• Even in the next morning, Hiroto is still hasn't find a solution for the Magia compensation issue and to make matters from bad to worse, Gezerkia and Disgurd arrive and pay him a visit for Hiroto's personal hot spring in the Royal Bathhouse. This gives Hiroto an brilliant idea to invite both Leonidas and Valkyria to join in because not only this will deepen Leonidas's friendship with both vampire clan leaders, it also give Hiroto an unexpected eureka that will going to make Magia to change its mind. BTW, news about Hiroto inviting the vampires and Leonidas into the Royal Bathroom shocks and confuses almost everyone, enemies and allies alike.
• Alas, despite of her plan of not meeting him no matter what, Lisvaon begrudgingly letting Hiroto in after reading some of Leonidas's pact that contradicts what Hydran and Ordicus told her. Then, the talk devolves into a heated argument when Lisvaon-courtesy to Nestoria's twisted words about Hiroto as her attempt to stop the conversation between the princess and our MC-accuses Hiroto for his "deceit" but ends ups getting roasted by his provocation about Magia (by extension both her and Urseus) as a pawn who didn't even know that they have been manipulated. Yes, really. And he is not even fazed by Lisvaon's intimidation during their argument where Lisvaon eventually sit down after seeing his calm eyes-the same eyes that gave Hydran shivers back in V18. Anyways, hearing Hiroto's truth about the agreement makes Lisvaon realizes the MC's real character and her own folly for not seeing the real deceit from the real manipulator. So, she makes this right by meeting Leonidas again and tell him about her meeting with Hydran despite Nestoria's constant interference (and Hiroto called her out for her lies and contradiction.) With an addition of Dorsel's own warning about Belffergo for his secret "meeting" with both him and Metis behind his back, Leonidas has enough justification to have both Hydran and Belffergo to be arrested.
• As the punishment for the arrested aristocrats, Univestel have their power to be stripped but their respective fates are different: Hydran will be kicked out from Privy Council and he is to be confined at his ruined mansion until his death. Belffergo, on the other hand, is put into death penalty for his scheming and his execution will begin now. Rasmus, who is also arrested on the spot (voluntary) and confessed everything to Leonidas about his Belffergo's scheme, plea the king to spare his friend but the king denies and his decision is final. Also, prior to before the arrest, Belffergo also plotting to even manipulate Metis as well, which Rasmus views it as suicidal.
• Needless to say, the downfall of both Hydran and Belffergo spread across Emperia and the effects drops like falling dominos. To put it shortly:
  1. Ordicus is so panicked to hear both Hydran's downfall and Hiroto's success in solving Magia's compensation issue that he want to have an audience with Leonidas only to be denied as the king now no longer respect Regulus due to of the elf's early impudence towards him-starting by banning any Regulus folks from visiting Hybride again.
  2. Lokroi has to sell Finnath out when he is asked by Leonidas in regards of Belffergo, causing Finnath to be both booted out from the Privy Council and being forced to pay 10,000 Vint for his troubles; what twisting the knife further is that on the following day, Felkina replaces him as the new Secretary of Finance of the Privy Council under Leonidas's decree.
  3. The aristocrats who attended Belffergo's meeting are so devastated by the downfall of Belffergo and Hydran that they all lost their will to resist against Hiroto and begrudgingly send their homage to Leonidas. Also, they pay 5,000 Vint for attending their secret meeting with Belffergo.
  4. Agnika (especially Lyndrus because the Duke's late wife happens to be his niece) is also devastated by Hydran's downfall as it now lost its only "pipe" (meaning connection) with Hybride Gassel, meanwhile, seeing Ismir deems Dorsel as the kingdom's champion for telling the truth to Leonidas-one that steepen the relationship between both Gassel and Hybride.
  5. In Phyllis, Eesh is so amused by what Metis's report about about Belffergo that he view the villain was a fool for his futile attempt to slander Hiroto
  6. As for Hydran himself? He is so broken by this latest defeat that he now spending most of his days chasing butterflies because he is unable to fulfill his promise to his late wife.
• On Magia's side, hearing Lisvaon's report about her deal with Leonidas regarding him gave up on on Magia's compensation stuns Urseus as he seemly gets his wish. On the very next day, the 2 kings reunite for the first time in 5 years at the boarder port and the 2 have a talk where Leonidas brags to Urseus for having Hiroto as his most important person in his court. Meanwhile, Linbeld eventually forgives Roxan and thanking. With that, the 50-year long rivalry between Hybride and Magia is officially over.
• One week has passed since Urseus's visit, under the degree of Leonidas, Hiroto and his peers are allow to taking bath at the Royal Bathhouse any time they want. Raquel and Felkina chimes in but something funny happens: Raquel accidentally slips and fall onto Hiroto, with her booba landing on his face. Felkina also slips and fall onto Hiroto as well, making her feel awkward. Mimia is so jealous to such scene that she also slip and plant her booba onto Hiroto too, on purpose.

This second post and this one is more likely a personal predictions, speculations & expectations about the would be Vol.20 that may continuing Hiroto's journey. Now with his domestic archenemies are gone from the stage, it seems nobody are willing to challenge Hiroto anymore which means that our MC has no enemies left. Still, I've got a sneaky suspicions that the adventure is not end yet.

Yes, I am supposed to review both V18 and V19 because they both are 1 arc description Hiroto's ongoing (and climatic) rivalry against Hydran and other aristocrats, but due to time constrain I have to postpone that while prioritizing the prediction & speculation first.

Spoiler for Personal Speculations, Prediction and expectations about V20:

1. Hiroto's next adventure will be going to the West again but this time, he is going to either Gassel or Agnika in order to discuss the peace treaty between both kingdoms, under Leonidas's endorsement.
2. Ismir would going to meet Hiroto for the first time and she is so impressed by our MC's caliber that she takes a liking of him, thinking that both Dorsel and Metis are blessed to meet someone like Hiroto. Thing is, however, not everyone share this perception as much as Ismir, Dorsel & Metis.
3. For Dorsel who is now a member of Gassel's Advisory Board-a prestigious council that mirrors Hybride's own Privy Council, he has to face his fellow board members who are skeptical about his friendship with Hiroto, just like Hydran and others towards Hiroto, and he will need our MC's help to secure his position. As for Metis, she will have to have one person in Phyllis to worry about due to her ongrowing grudge against Hiroto and that would be...
4. Freyas. Yes, that Freyas, the princess who is currently grounded by her uncle King Eesh for her mess she made back in V15, and she is back for revenge against as Hiroto for her "humilliation". In fact, the princess's grudge against Hiroto will give both Eesh and Metis a massive headache as they fear that her actions may going to jeopardizing Phyllis's stability and they require Hiroto's help to stop her madness, again.
   1. She might sneaks out from Babylos and rushes her way to Gassel after hearing the news about Hiroto's visit of the kingdom, then slanders him in front of Ismir and urges her not to trust. Given Eesh's relationship with both Freyas (Niece) and Ismir (Mother) respectively, I suspect that both ladies are daughter and mother but with conflicting personalities.
   2. She might going stop Raquel, Felkina and also Joachim from stepping foot onto their former homelands despite the agreement that they can only visit the place at least once a year. Part of the reason is she still assumes that North Phyllis Remnants will try to retake their former homelands again despite both Felkina and Joachim already gave up that idea after their last failure back in V10 that almost costed their lives killed hadn't the vampires intervene their suicidal war against Phyllis Army.
   3. Worst case scenario, with the gossip about what happened at Emperia spread across Phyllis like wildfire, she catches up with it and she feels disgusted by Lisvaon's impression (from hostile to somewhat friendly) towards Hiroto that she ridicules her Magia's counterpart as spineless buffoon for her "weak conviction" to defeat her. They may be princess in their respective kingdoms who share their reputation, but their personalities are different due to their respective perception towards Hiroto after their first meeting with him, with Lisvaon's one is less humiliating than Freyas. .
5. Agnika also trying to compete with Gassel on gaining Hiroto's attention despite Hydran's downfall in order to reconnect it's relations with Hybride. Whilst Lyndrus has a heavy heart to do so, considering his niece's death was a contributor to the former Duke's dark path to villainy, Lokroi and possibly others ministers, on the other hand, don't mind using any tricks in the book to get our MC's attention,. Another reason for that is because what happened to the west part of Agnika, presumably some kind of revolt that is similar to North Phyllis Remnants.
6. Regulus attempt to patch its relationship with Hybride and trying to make amends for Ordicus's disrespect towards the young king back in V19. Univestel will be heavily involved in this due to his friendship with as he wondering what are Cognidus and others planning to do so. Will Hiroto revisiting Regulus again since V14?
7. As crazy as it sounds but, there will be another Diferente who is getting summoned into the world of Hybride for reasons that yet to be known. Said Diferente is Ruki Akemiya, Hiroto's former classmate who is in her 20's in her own world and the reunion between her and Hiroto caused. Presumably the one who is responsible for dragging Ruki into the mess are the likes of Lemaire, Collard and Margus are getting desperate to use her to defeat Hiroto again, against Rasmus's advice may I add.

Third post this this time it is about Chapter 43 and Chapter 44 of the manga adaptation. Yes, I was busy recently due to real life responsibilities and right now, there is no news about V20 of the Light Novel yet. For now. Probably it will release before X-Mas or Halloween?

Anyways, here are the manga's both Chapter 43 and 44 where the race for the vacant Governor seat is on. I've a gut a feeling this the manga adaptation will end on LN Volume 4's Epilogue, even though the Light Novel series continues Hiroto and Soichiro's adventure until the story ends (That itself will be another story) . To give you an idea, the REAL interesting part in the Light Novel series only begins by end of the Volume 4/ Manga's final chapter (?) where the following events chronicling Hiroto's rising fame as the most prominent figures that ensure the stability not only in Hybride, but also across the continent. That is a story for another day if the manga continues but I digress, lest review the manga chapter, shall we?







Manga Chapter 43

Spoiler for Manga Chapter 43:

1. The manga begins with everyone return from their hot spring trip with Sorceire hoping that they will visiting the place very soon...only to meet Alvy who informs Hiroto that the Secondaria Elf Elder Association is summon him for a meeting, alone.
2. During the said meeting, Magnelis, the leader of the said Elder Association, tell him to leave Solum's wheat issue to them and implore him to participate the election. Hiroto anticipates this and asks the elder why is he still urge him to participate the election despite being fully aware of Feuillet's scheme, to which the elder responses that the Vampire's Air Mail Service plays a significant role to Ibrid System and they can't afford to let either Feuillet or even Excelis to destroy it, hence the request. In spite of this challenge, Hiroto cautiously accepts it.
3. The following day, we see Alvy and Soichiro arrive at Dominus Castle of Primaria to hand over the applications to the priest. According to Alvy, in order to participate the election, a candidate must be approved by the Spirits and it will disqualify an unsuitable person if the Spiritual Light is agitated. Luckily for Soichiro, the light doesn't change and with the priest's blessing, Hiroto is officially becomes the 3rd candidate in the election.
4. We then shift to the perspective of both Hiroto's rivals: Excelis confronts her father who informs her that he can't help her to persuade Glinka because of the limitation of Primaria's own elven elder association, though she reassures that she will find the way to gain supporters from both side anyhow, all the while keeping her alliance with Hiroto a secret. Feuillet, on the other hand, remains confident as he expects Hiroto's participation for the election and planning on consolidate their position at home base while jabbing at Solum Alliance; despite Torbalan's report about Darmur's defection to Hiroto's side by voting for him, Feuillet brushes it off as "futile" because he assume that the MC is no match for him in bribing, given a fact that his allies (Marvel, Gustav and Viktor) were already displeased to think that a teen like Hiroto governing Salabria, but hoping to see a "good show" from his rival nonetheless.
5. The news of these official three candidates along with their major supporters has spread across Salabria, with Feuillet is ahead of both Hiroto and Excelis by having 7 votes right from the beginning, followed by Hiroto's 6 votes and Excelis's 5 votes. By the time the campaigning begins, the narration then ends with that there are 6 days left for the official election.

Manga Chapter 44

Spoiler for Manga Chapter 44:

1. The manga begins with Hiroto gathering all of his allies and discuss the strategy and its not an easy task because Hiroto knows that Feuillet will definitely not going to make his campaigning any easier. During the North Salabria castle lords' visit, Sentelio cries with tears of joy and congratulating Hiroto for being the 3rd participant for the election. Before he goes, however, Hiroto have the castle lords to practice just in case if he is away.
2. We first sees Feuillet's visit onto Solum Alliance castle lords and expect getting a clean sweep by persuading them to vote for him and "promises" them that he will provide them some resources if they comply. Unfortunately for Feuillet, however, courtesy to Hiroto's instructions, all 4 lords have none of it, with Natra Lord (one of the 4 lords who rejected Feuillet) tells Secondaria Lord to his face that, if he want to gain their votes, he has to announce that not enact his Unified Development Order in Salabria and leave the lords to decide what to do with the land-something Feuillet hesitant to do so because of the risk of losing support from 3 Southern Lord if he complies.
3. This causes Feuillet to leave the 4 cities emptyhanded because of the lord's countermeasure and his dilemma about Solum's exemption from his Unified Development Order (one would risk losing 3 Southern Lord's vote if he complies to Solum Alliance's demands) causes him to worry about Torlan's mission to get Glinka's support. To make things worse for the lord, he stumbles across Solum and he is astonished by the town's vibrant autosphere due to the coexistence between human and Other Species, to the point deducing that the town implying Hiroto's vision.
4. Meanwhile, Hiroto visits Secondaria Alliance castle lords and unfortunately for him, he meets rejection from the lords: While Rudin is at least decent because of his desire to continue the Aerial Carriage despite his support for Feuillet, and the only one to do so, the other lords are not as kind as Rudin and treat Hiroto with pure hostility: One (Aldus) accuses Darmur as a "traitor" to the point lashing his frustration onto Sorceire, another (Litteau) deems Hiroto's candidacy to be inadequate and even telling Sorceire to stay home because of her father's "sins", and the last one (Nolte) flat out refuses to coexist with the vampires by claiming that the Aerial Carriages are not necessary; to the point urging Hiroto to give up by "warning" him about the vampires' potential "betrayal" in the future by stabbing him in the back.
5. As the result, Hiroto is unable to gain any vote from the Secondaria Alliance and it worries his peers, specifically Sorceire who apologizes for her father's action that led to Secondaria Alliance's hostility to Hiroto. Hiroto isn't fazed by this, however, as he is explains that this is just his "survey" onto the lords and now he has all the information he needed, he plans to visit Lusa for Rudin again while Valkyria is understandably skeptical about the plan by asking him if he is trying to persuade the lord to support him again, Hiroto simply replies that he just want to have a chat with a lord.

Basically, Chapter 43 officially kickstarting the election with Feuillet possessing the upmost advantages than Hiroto and Excelis, most due to a fact that he is fare more affluent than his two rivals due to his resourcefulness in wealth and connections with various big shots in Salabria who shows their antagonistic view towards Hiroto. Considering what happened in the following events in Light Novel Vol.4, something tells me that Feuillet is about to bite more than he can chew on this one.

Speaking of which, this is exactly what happens in Chapter 44 where Feuillet just got his "challenge" he asked for and the surprising turns of events makes him go into his panic mode: Solum Alliance lords that are hard to be manipulated courtesy to the practice with Hiroto) and Solum's flourish state due to the coexistence between human and Oher Species, and this is only the beginning of his woes. Things aren't as rosy on Hiroto's side, of course, considering the other lords' jerkish attitude towards him due to their prejudice and scorn against the vampires, though Hiroto himself isn't panicked so easily even after that kind of setback. Hindsight Light Novel Vol.5 and Vol.6, however, it looks like the aforementioned jerkish lords may need Hiroto more than he need them in regards of human's relationship with the vampires.

Spoiler for Manga Chapter 43's Extra Content :

1. Soichiro find the ceremony to be troublesome and even thinking about having the Spirit Lights to choose the next Governor instead, but Alvy shoots that down and says that heavily relying on the Spiritual Lights to do anything and not judge everything by themselves will only make them look like puppets.
2. There is a flashback featuring both Hiroto and Soichiro back when they were kids where the former beaten the latter with more votes for the elementary class president, implying that our MC may have a credibility as the leadership due to his charisma.
3. Not long afterwards, Soichiro meets up with Curele and they both are heading towards Marcel, implying that the campaigning is already underway.

Spoiler for Manga Chapter 44's Extra Content :

1. During the discussion, Hiroto deems that Glinka is the most important spot for both Feuillet and Excelis in order to get their advantage during the campaigning, at least according to Hiroto himself. Right now, he is more focus on Lusa and Secondaria Alliance while leaving the South cities (Like Marcel) to Soichiro. To even being qualified for the election, a candidate need at least 16 votes (maximum numbers) through campaigning.
2. By the time of this manga chapter begins, this is the 2nd day of the Campaigning, meaning that there are 5 days left until the Election Day.
3. Also, there is a funny moment where Valkyria put a her tongue face at Feuillet when both carriages cross path. Even funnier is that both Mimia and Sorceire also follows suit.
4. Initially flabbergasted by Dexia Lord's rejection despite his lucrative his offer (under the assumption that he can manipulate Hiroto's allies), his visit on Natra make the lord realize that all of this was part of Hiroto's to counter his scheme, so he switches his tactic by trying to appease Natra Lord by saying that he "wanted" to grant the lord some Special Exemption because the forest is Natra lord's hunting ground. In reality, this sweet talk is actually Feuillet's lip service, meaning he most likely going to take back his word when he meet his goals. What Feuillet doesn't take into account, however, is that unlike his predecessor, the new Natra Lord isn't stupid and when he demands Feuillet to not implementing the Development Order and then Feuillet says that "he is thinking about it", he boldly claims that since the lord claims that all Solum Alliance cities are applicable to "special exemption", it doesn't count as one, which means that the lord himself has no intention of implementing the Development Order in the first place. Basically, Natra Lord suspects that Feuillet's nonsense and not buying it. Oh, and to put a cherry on the top? Cerca Lord and Est Lord said the same thing as they not only they teases Secondaria Lord about the rumor of losing his Southern Allies should he support the Special Exemption, which Feuillet denies obviously, they even goad to lord to declare the said special exemption just to proof his word.
5. The conversation between Hiroto and Rudin plays a more important role where, while Rudin says that he does vote for Feuillet, given his past conversation with Darmur some time ago, which is omitted in the manga, he at least showing some interest about seems showing some interest about the Aerial Carriage and want to continue the service-something other Secondaria Alliance lords don't shared.

If anything, here's my speculations for the following manga chapters if they going to end the Election Arc and/or starting the adaptation of Gezerkia Arc, Hybride Minister Arc & Phyllis Affairs Arc, the latter of the three is considered to be one of the greatest arc that displays Hiroto's true caliber that will shake the entire continent. That is only if and when the manga chapters reach Chapter 50 and beyond adapts the aforementioned arcs.

Spoiler for Events of Light Novel Volume 4's latter part hat foreshadows Manga Chapter 45-50:

1. Whilst Hiroto is busying on dealing with his meeting with Rudin, Soichiro, Alvin and Curele are next to visit Marcel Lord and other Southern Lord on his behalf. Although Marcel Lord and other lords (with the exception of Glinka Lord) of is antagonistic towards Hiroto, they are curious about the vampires due to the popularity of the Aerial Mail lately in Salabria. So curious that Glinka Lord even trying to buy Curele with their money,, which obviously angers Soichiro so much that he immediately reject the offer, only ends up getting berated Alvy for screwing one chance that could help Hiroto regardless how jerkish these Southern Lords may be. I dunno about Alvy but imagine who would Valkyria and especially Zeldis feels when they finds out Curele being sold just to gain a stranger's vote...
2. Also, the news from his lord about Solum's flourish status prompts Torlan to meet Glinka Lord immediately and the deal is done, meaning that Feuillet has 8 votes and still in the first place after gaining Glinka Lord's support, followed by Hiroto (6 votes) and Excelis (4 votes). The funny part is that during the said deal, both Torlan and Glinka Lord feels a strong winds that blows everything and feeling confused by it, without knowing that said wind is made by Curele as her revenge for making Soichiro's life difficult. Pay attention to Glinka Lord, aka Zoppo because that rich man's antagonism against Hiroto will be served as an important plot point for our MC's future adventures that will shock the world...
3. Speaking of Hiroto, his fourth conversation with Rudin will change the tide into his favor: Hearing the news about Glinka's support for Feuillet prompts Rudin to deduce that the Secondaria Lord has no intention to even listen to his request while viewing Hiroto is better because he can feel the boy's sincerity during the last conversation about keeping the Aerial Carriage service even if he lose in the election. We then Rudin asking Hiroto if he truly suspend/halt the Unified Development Order entirely but Hiroto replies that he only halt certain section of the Development Order because he want to check if the forest have water supplies, which will damaging the town if the chopping down the forest unplanned. When Rudin ask if Lusa is part of the suspension list, Hiroto just replies that he respect the lord's decision whichever it may be. This alone garners Rudin's trust for Hiroto as he now changes his vote for the MC, making him even with Feuillet's vote. More on that later
4. Excelis's campaigning trip is rocky one: She is belittled by even Magnelis of the Secondaria Elven Association for enacting her Unified Development Order, then got shunned by Secondaria Alliance's lords because of said Unified Development Order to point even suspecting her trying to "steal" their fortunes, and her visit of Neka seeing her interacting with both Darmur and Zeldis at Neka Castle with the latter's faith in Hiroto prompts her to think that the coexistence between humans and vampires will inevitable and the Development Order itself will halt the progress. Similar to Feuillet, Excelis's first visit onto Solum gives her an eye-opening experience about what the town truly is but in her case, the sight the town vibrant lifestyle makes Excelis to realize the lords' (except Darmur and Rubin) greed . Then she visits a local bar and learn the good news about Hiroto getting the 7th vote.
5. Learning Rudin's support for Hiroto makes Feuillet unhappy and confronts the lord about it only to be pursued by said lord over his request about continuing the Aerial Carriage at Lusa. Sure enough, in desperation, Feuillet answers that he is "thinking about it" but Rudin has none of it and even dares the Secondaria Lord to announce the Special Exemption, meaning that with Rudin's last minute vote for Hiroto, Feuillet will lose all 4 Southern Lords' support if he announce the Special Exemption. Infuriated, Feuillet threaten Rudin about the consequences of defying against him but the Lusa Lord remains unfazed and replies that he only cares about the benefit once Hiroto is victorious, much to Feuillet's frustration about his traps for Hiroto is now bite him back (That is the only beginning).
6. We then shift to Excelis's father by the name Astelis who's also astonished by Hiroto's vote that is tie with Feuillet, and then we also learn more about Salabria's dark secret: According to the history, the very moment Polowa took office as the Governor of Salabria, the Development Order has caused a lot of problem as there was a time where people suggested the Southern Lords to try Feuillet's proposal to implement the Development Order just as Polowa took office and became Salabria's governor. Originally, Primaria Elven Elder Association was against the proposal but the Secondaria counterpart remained neutral instead. Then, comes the harvest failure on that second year and to the make matters worse, according to the survey alone, the harvest failure was due to the population that cultivating the land was extremely small. Ergo, Primaria Elven Elder Association met tremendous backlashes because of this and the Southern Lords opted to learn towards the Development Order, causing the land reclamation went out of control. Primaria Elven Branch gone silence since the following incident and Astelis blames himself for his own helplessness to prevent that disaster and almost fell the despair when both Excelis and Feuillet trying repeat history by proposing the same Development Order that caused problem to Salabria in the first place...until Hiroto's presence alone seemly gives Astelis a glimpse of hope to stop the rampant Development Order for good.

Forth post here and man, just as I about to make my personal speculations about Volume 20, because Kagami Sensei himself is teasing that he will publish both 20 and 21, the teaser for the upcoming Volume 20 is finally here.

What would the for Hiroto when he is involved in a diplomacy war 's future hold for his ?

Hybride is supported by high quality Aluminite but because the kingdom's biggest aluminite mine is destroyed by the flood, the Hybride's future is uncertain since the ore itself isn't available in other countries. Meanwhile, Hiroto visits Gassel as an envoy after revoking Agnika's military agreement only or Queen Ismir leave some affairs (I dunno about the Mountain Sea Urchin part) to an aristocrat named Gudrun-a Countess from Agnika who hates Hiroto. In sheer coincidence, Agnika has just found a new aluminite mine, meaning that Hybride is in a severe handicap when it comes to diplomacy. Can Hiroto manage to find a path to survive whilst facing Agnika's pressure?!

Basically, a new arc is here and Hiroto is officially going West for more diplomacy, and this one really displays Agnika's rivalry against Hybride aluminite is the petroleum for the kingdoms in this continent. One would really wonder if Agnika has forgotten Hiroto's deed in rescuing Lyndrus from being executed by Metis after his defeat?

Spoiler for Personal Summary Based on the Teaser Summary:

1. The Aluminite plays an important role to Hybride's stability because it's the only kingdom that possessed such mineral in this continent. Unfortunately, the flooding has destroyed the biggest (and possibly the only) aluminite mine, meaning the kingdom's future will going to be bleak if nothing is done.
2. Hiroto is going West as Hybride's envoy because of the aforementioned Aluminite and the first place he is visiting is Gassel. For whatever the reasons, however, Queen Ismir seems to have some good terms with a woman by then name Gudrun the countess of Agnika, and the lady herself loathes Hiroto very much. If it not for him cancelling the military agreement with Agnika , then it must be related to Hydran's house arrest that soured the relationship between Hybride and Agnika that led to her hatred against Hiroto. Could she be one of Hydran's closest person (relatives, family member or even friend) aside from Lyndrus's late niece?
3. Makes even more dire for Hybride is that a new aluminite mine is discovered by none other than Agnika, meaning that Agnika is now is calling the shots when any kingdoms want that mineral more, Hybride included. One can speculate that Agnika use that as his revenge against Hiroto for not only the sanction he gave to the kingdom back in Vol.16, but also Hydran's demise from the last book that led to the sour relationship between both Agnika and Hydran .

That depends on Hiroto's interactions with the female characters in the series. So far, the the big four (Valkyria, Mimia, Sorceire and Excelis) have the most interaction with him.

About that, all four of them (or probably more) are recurring allies to Hiroto after they encountered and interacted with him, which changed their initial outlook for the guy. Raquel or may Metis are close enough to be Hiroto's sweet honey. Then again, I think these ladies are grown to like the MC as the story progresses. Heck, even former skeptics such as Felkina (V0l. 10 and first part of Vol.13) , Sylferis (Vol.17) and Lisvaon (Vol.18 and Vol.19) begins to take a liking towards the MC after meeting the guy themselves.

The only few who are still hold some hostility against Hiroto right now are Freyas (Princess of Phyllis) and Nestoria (Knights who has undying loyalty for Urseus), with the former hold a grudge against him for her first defeat whereas the latter loathed the MC for her lord Urseus's insecurities. Lets not forget about the new character in Vol.20 who is an Agnika Countess who loathes Hiroto.

Anyways, here are the following the cover & preview illustrations featuring the latest Volume 20 as well as some few (9) preview illustrations and boy, Hiroto is about to get busy with the Western Kingdoms' shenanigans because...lets just say Queen Ismir is much challenging than the likes of Urseus due to her sharp mind that put Hiroto in a tighter position if it not for his cunning, and I'm not talking about her intentions when it comes with the new character name Gudrun the new character may be the Agnika's version of both Raquel and Hydran because a) she is a princess from another foreign country and b) she is aiming for the crown.

For those who are curious what is all about, here is some small description right down below about the first 9 illustrations (Colored Included).

Spoiler for Description based on preview pictures:

1. Leonidas is imagining about Sylferis in her casual shirt after Felkina teases him about the Elven Bishop wearing casual clothes. Yes, really.
2. Valkyria cries with joy after seeing Hiroto return from the West, implying that she wasn't there during Hiroto's expedition to the West.
3. Raquel volunteers herself to some mission since nobody comes up with an idea to defeat the enemy, much to the shock of both Felkina and especially Hiroto. Something tells me that the situation is far more serious for Hybride,, given the current situation based on the summary itself.
4. Meet Gudrun (グドルーン), one of Agnika's aristocrat who possesses a rather prolific linage like Felkina. In her case, though, she is hailed from a royalty from Agnika's neighboring kingdom by the name Krygya (キルギア), indicating that she is a princess to that kingdom. Further profile adds that whilst most of Agnika's citizens are having blonde hair with blue eyes whereas Gassel citizens has black hair instead, Gudrun stands out the most due to her greenish-tint raven black long hair. She is also feuding against Queen Astorika over the crown of the kingdom. What is actually going on over there?! Does that mean her home kingdom is also...
   • She shows absolute loathe for both Hiroto and even her fellow aristocrat Lyndrus and even condemning them for their death due to their alliance without her knowledge. In fact, she even deemed that the Spiritual Lights are "too kind". It is really funny for her to say something like that when it was Agnika's own jerkish comment about the vampires hat led to Hiroto's sanction against the western kingdom to begin with.
   • Heck, as the story beginning, she manages to stop both merchants and soldiers from both Gassel & another country/province named Cidhna (シドナ) from their ruckus at the port without being intimidated by even Gassel's guards-making her more than a rival to Metis. The only good qualities about her is that even she calling out both Agnika merchants and soldiers for what they did that angered the Gassel and Cidhna people that almost repeating Lyndrus's mistake and even told them to restrain themselves for a while, with hope that she will turn things around. While she is half-right about the merchants' provocation was the reason why they were in their troubled state to begin with, she is still wrong for antagonizing Hiroto either considering he was the one who saved Agnika from Metis and Gassel Army again?
5. Valkyria is upset for unable to go with Hiroto to the West due to the vampires are still angry at Agnika for the merchants insult about the vampires as "animals" from Volume 15, which of course causing Hiroto to give Agnica 3 times the sanctions than Gassel's own sanction back in the same book. Hence the 2nd Colored appearance. It seems Soichiro doesn't want to be a second fiddle for long after seeing how much his friend has accomplished to become who he is now.
6. Hirotoand Mimia (yes, really) is riding on the horse in order to meet Dorsel and his busty wife at Nemet Port...and he is forced to eat something spicy again under Dorsel's recommendation. Before this scene, Hiroto is warned by Excelis about 2 people:
   1. First, Gudrun and her reason in loathing Hiroto is because of she was the owner of the mountain sea urchin monopoly which was behind Lyndrus's opposition against the mountain sea-urchin tax rise shtick.
   2. Then Queen Ismir herself because whilst the queen does took a liking on him, there is no telling what will prompt her to change her mind.
7. Hiroto is talking to both Ismir & Pashan about the oppai when the Queen asked him some really tricky question: Will Hybride be Gassel's enemy or ally. And yes, he used the queen's own oppai size uses it as an emphasis of Hybride's mission is to make sure hate neither Gassel norAgnika will start a war against each other. When Ismir asking more trick questions, Hiroto, after some thinking, comes up with a joke about him marrying Gudrun. Come to think of it, lil' trivia time: Gudrun's oppai is G Cup whereas Ismir's one is E. Anyways, Hiroto's bold marriage with Gudrun amuses both Ismir and Pashan so much that they actually agree with Hiroto's term. To the point thinking that je is an interesting guy after the meeting. However...
8. Excelis is glaring at Hiroto after learning that our MC is going to "marry" Gudrun, to which Hiroto exclaims that it was a joke. Even worse for the MC, Sorceire and Mimia are also chiming in and confront our MC about it, especially the latter who is bothered by Gudrun's oppai size.
9. The last picture featuring an adventurer show the miner boss some of the rocks that presumably found in Agnika of all places and asks him to deliver such news to Gudrun. This implies that Gudrun will may using THAT to threaten Hyrbide.
   • You see, according to the preview chapters, Hybride's largest mine is damaged by a flood and tragically, it becomes unusable.
   • The situation is so bad that both elven brothers leave Hybride to other countries to discuss with other elves about the aluminite supply crisis: The older brother go to Phyllis whereas the younger one going to Regulus. The only color of these rocks that deemed high-graded are cyan and purple. Oh, and that Agnika merchant make some rather unpleasing remark about the aluminite ore

OK, guys, before we are going to the Light Novel 20 summary, I need to make an announcement that I will going to be VERY busy in real life, so I don't have time to do more of the summaries for the series. Also, apparently, Volume 21 will be on sale on March 1st. So, I will be going to do that later after this one because it will going to be Hiroto's most challenging task in his life, even worse than the vents of Volume 18-19

So, without any delays, here is the summary for manga's chapter 45 (latest) and it seems that the manga series is tying to end the Election Arc as fast as possible. Will the manga series will end here or continue until the Hybride and Phyllis Arc is beyond

Spoiler for Manga Chapter 45 Summary :

1. The chapter begins with the trio of Soichiro, Alvy and Curele visit South Salabria on Hiroto's behest as part of his friend's campaign-starting with Marcel. We then see how crowded and bustling Marcel is due to farmland and a lot of buildings, though some part of the city (Hinting North Phyllis remnants as cameos?)
2. Anyways, the trio meets Marcel Lord first and the latter, despite not voting for Hiroto, is surprised to learn from Soichiro that humans and vampires lived in harmony at Solum. Then, Marcel Lord looks at Curele and when Soichiro reveals that Curele is a vampire, he orders his soldiers but Soichiro calms him down and read a story-namely Red-Riding Hood-to Curele as a proof that not all vampires are bad. Curele demands Soichiro to read more story afterwards, garnering Marcel Lord's intrigue. Oh, and the manga chapter adds a panel about Marcel Lord who is so intrigued by the demonstration that he takes a liking to Curele and even remarks that he has a daughter who has a same age as Curele.
3. Unfortunately for the trio, the same cannot be said for Glinka Lord as he refuses to vote for Hiroto; instead, he wants to vote for Soichiro and to do that, he demands the MC's best friend to sell sell Curele to him. (Well, that sure confirm the guy being a irredeemable scumbag) Needless to say, Soichiro angrily refuses but Glinka Lord continues his taunt by tempting him to get his vote, which Soichiro responds by tell the lord to take a hike because he doesn't want it and leaves.
4. It doesn't end well for Soichiro, however, as Alvy lectures him about not to be consumed by temper if he wants to gain the vote. (As rational as it sounds, can Alvy at last trying to fill Zeldis's shoes for a moment because what will going to happen if his baby girl is getting sold?) Sure enough, this causes Soichiro to lose self-esteem as he realizes that he has just screwed Hiroto's chances of winning. Curele comes to cheer the Soichiro with a wine, which Soichiro obliged and fell asleep for even sip it.
5. Afterwards, Curele put Soichiro to bed and moves out as her revenge for his humilliation. Meanwhile, Glinka Lord and Torlan are cheering over their premature victory because it is revealed that the castle lord has placed his vote for Feuillet after Soichiro left, with hopes that the Secondaria Lord will credit him for his victory. Suddenly, a strong wind breaks the castle windows that freaks both Glinka Lord and Torlan as they both wondering, which turns out to be Curele's prank to owe both bullies. Either way, Glinka Lord's vote for Feuillet turns out to be a fatal mistake because something big is about to happen. More on that later...

Elsewhere, at Neka, Excelis's own situation isn't fare any better than Hiroto: She is shunned by the Secondaria Alliance's castle lords regarding her won stance in regards of her uniformed Development Decree, whilst both Zeldis and Darmur remains loyal to Hiroto as the former declared that he will support for Hiroto despite not having a voting rights, prompting her to deduce that the confrontation with the vampires will be inevitable. (Foreshadowing Gezerkia and Disgurd?) Strangely, her meeting with Manellis of Secondaria is omitted despite the meting itself showcased the different mindset between Manellis and Excelis. Anyways, she receives 2 letters: 1 is Hiroto's letter that the ball continues while the 2nd one reveals that Feuillet was ahead of both her and Hiroto with 8 votes, prompting her to wonder if Hiroto can overturn the situation.
7. Later, Excelis, now being covered with cloth while being accompanied by a guard, going to Solum next but before she is going to the town, she is making a survey onto the rivers that is near the town and both she and the guards sees several mummies who are bathing at the river, which implies that this is where the mummy lives. This scene astonishes Excelis so much that she realizes the destructive effects of the Uniform Development Decree to everyone if it is implemented (This also explains the reason why Gezerkia and the vampires attacked humans at Orsia as revenge), to the point even cursing the South Salabria castle lords for lying to her because they never been there before. She also remarks that the only reason why South Salabria is flourish in the first place is because unlike the northern counterpart, the water is abundant over there (Hinting Terminus River and , possible Phyllis confrontation).
8. Meanwhile, Hiroto and Rudin are having a drink with Lusa Lord remarks about Hiroto's 4th visit and he seems to appreciate. More than that, Rudin seems to feel uneased after hearing that Feuillet got 8th vote courtesy with Glinka Lord's vote, which prompted him to suspect that Feuillet would unlikely to fulfill his request to continue the vampire air-mail service in his territory Lusa. There, Rudin asks Hiroto a question about if he actually abolish all of the Development Order, to which
9. Back to Solum, Excelis and the guard are wandering at a local bar and she is shocked to hear from a citizen that Hiroto is tied with Feuillet with 7 votes. Speaking of the devil, Feuillet himself confront Rudin about his vote for Hiroto and wants him back, to which Rudin refuses and challenges him to declare that Lusa will be exempt from his uniformed Development Decree (which Feuillet isn't willing to do because doing so will lose support from South Salabria castle lords) . The manga then ends with a cliff-hanger where Feuillet threatens Rudin about the consequences for defying him, but Rudin replies that all he knows is that Hiroto's victory will be impactful.

Yes, ladies and gents, This is Glinka's castle lord and from what I read from the latest manga chapter, he is a scumbag who only doing his thing for the money. Trust me, this greaseball is one of Hiroto's haters and he will play a small yet impactful role in the Light Novel.

Spoiler for Glinka Lord's role in Light Novel counterpart (Abridged version):

1. Making his physical debut in Volume 4's Chapter 12 after so many mentions throughout the book, as seen in Chapter 45, Zoch refused to vote Hiroto but willing to vote for Soichiro under one condition: Selling Curele to him. Since Soichiro eventually refused, he voted for Feuillet instead and even gloated that the lord should credit him for aiding the benefactor's victory. Unfortunately for Glinka Lord, not only his vote for Feuillet ended up causing Rudin to defect and vote for Hiroto instead, he and his South Salabria castle lords also witnessed Hiroto's victory over Feuillet when the former
2. With his name being revealed at Zoch in Volume 5, the lord scoffed at Feuillet the moment they reunite as he focuses on Hiroto instead because, ya know, he is the current governor of Salabria now. During the inauguration ceremony, he was one of many castle lord who was stunned to hear about Hiroto's warning about the impending invasion of Gezerkia and the Red-Winged Vampires onto Salabria after the news about their takeover of Shura reached across Hybride. In spite of this, however, during one party, he plead Hiroto to fulfill the uniformed development decree only to be rejected instead as Hiroto himself asked him several fundamental question that not even he can answered. This is where he started to resent Hiroto onwards.
3. Volume 6 was where Zoch, like most of his South Salabria castle lords, implored Excelis to implement the uniformed Development Order only to be denied and got roasted for forgetting his heroic deeds in saving Salabria from Gezerkia and the Red-Winged Vampires. Heck, he loathed Hiroto so vehemently that he, alongside with his fellow South Salabria castle lords (like Marcel), refused to support Hiroto's policies about enabling Other Species children to study at Primaria. In fact, during that one party, Zoch even gleefully told Hiroto that he and his fellow castle lords would fund the schools if Hiroto allowed the uniformed Development Order. He was also one of many gleefully cheered for Hiroto's downfall when the MC was forced to vacate his governor's position under Emperia's decree (courtesy to Panopticus's schemes) and Excelis replaced him as the Governor, with hopes that she will uniformed Development Order....only to be dismayed to hear that Excelis's announcement that she will continue Hiroto's policies. Sure enough, he and his fellow South Salabria castle lords were objected against Excelis decision but it was futile when Alvy, who became the advisor at that time, stated that Excelis has no obligation to implement the uniformed Development Order. To make matters worse for Zoch, he and his fellow South Salabria castle lords received news about Phyllis Army's invasion onto South Salabria as a message to Emperia about ignoring Eash's request of arresting North Phyllis rebels and send them back to Phyllis. What did he do? He sought Excelis and even Hiroto for help, ironically enough. The following aftermath of Hiroto's victory over Phyllis Army, he and other fellow South Salabria castle lords quickly gave presents to Hiroto and even calling Curele princess as their gratitude for saving Phyllis Army.
4. In Volume 7, Zoch participated a party about Hiroto's promotion as the leading figure of the 3 Province Boarder Alliance (namely Salabria, Hagar and Ansul) after he success in defeat another Phyllis Army's invasion force. This is where he turned 180 as Hiroto's celebration made him so jealous that he remarked that Salabria was like a "kingdom" to MC. Like Rujad, the governor of Hagar who also loathed Hiroto and the vampires and their victory over Cain Army only exacerbated his hatred for Hiroto, Zoch accepted gifts (particularly money and women) from Phyllis merchants without even realize that all of this were part of Phyllis' plot to smear Hiroto's name in order to create a rift between Emperia and Hiroto before assassinating our MC. Ultimately, greed and lust led to Zoch's demise as he was involved in Hiroto's near assassination by bringing "Hagar Knights", who are actually Phyllis assassins in disguise to Dominus Castle. Whilst Hiroto barely escaped his near assassination partly thanks to their distraction from Raquel who thankfully joined Hiroto's escape to Primaria, Zoch on the other hand was not lucky as he himself was handtied and being imprisoned at the executive office that now filled with corpses of Galsh and other soldiers. In his desperation, Zoch pleaded with an Phyllis ambassador for mercy and even willing to say ANYTHING to keep himself alive, such as helping Phyllis to assassinate Hiroto. Alas, it all ended in futile as the Phyllian ambassador killed him anyways via decapitation as he mocked him for his scummy behavior and refused to let the likes of him to defile Phyllis women.

Forth post and, like V19 which is a second half to V18, V21 is a second half to V20 and this will be Hiroto's greatest challenge in his lifetime. This could be Hiroto's biggest challenge yet given how smart his rival from Agnika really is. I will do the review later, so here goes.

Hiroto is leaving to Agnika to gain the Alum stones without damaging the diplomacy between Hybride and Gassel, even though said his chances of winning is grimly none. Even more challenging is that said alum stone are now under the possession of Gudrun, Queen Astorica's bitter rival who loathes Hiroto as much as the reigning queen herself due to her ambition to be the kingdom's next ruler.

In other words, Hiroto is facing a rather difficult task because Agnika's demand from either faction will put his skill to the test, and Volume 21 explores Hiroto's solutions despite his chances of winning is virtually zero.

Spoiler for Antagonists of Volume 21:

1. Agnika in general, and both factions (Gudrun and Astorica Faction) are as bad as each other in spite of their fierce feud against each other for the throne.
   1. Gudrun the Countess is one of Hiroto's vilest enemy due to her grudge against him over what he did in Volume 15 that affected her mountain urchin monopoly, as well as her formidable guts and intelligence. She hailed from a nobility family from Agnika's neighboring kingdom from further west and she has an ambition to take over Agnika. The discovery of the Aluminite Stones in Agnika-at her territory, of all places-further fueling Gudrun's arrogance she gloats that she has Hiroto checkmated. Unlike most of Hiroto's rival and enemies, Gudrun is no fool as she actually investigated him via a report and try not to learn his enemies' past mistake: To crush Hiroto, she sends a letter to Hybride about her ridiculous condition to Hybride if it wants the alum stones from her.-one that will make Hiroto's task even more difficult.
   2. Queen Astoricaand her supporters aren't as nice as Gudrun either: Despite her bitter rivalry for Gudrun, Astorica hates Hybride even more after Hiroto broke the military alliance between both kingdoms, to the point even blamed Lyndrus for the mess or even berated an elven merchant for even speaking. The concerning part about her is that, according to Lyndrus, the queen herself is very short-tempered like Gudrun. While she gleefully smirked at Hybride's owes for its lost of Aluminite mins due to a flood, which she viewed as "karma" for the Hybride's breakup from its military's alliance between both kingdoms, she was also frustrated to know that Agnika's newly discovered aluminite mines is located at Gudrun's territory of all place, so she also making a dastard request to Hybride in order to prevent Gudrun from overthrowing her from the throne. Both Lyndrus and Lokroi will be responsible to aid the queen by any means necessary, with the Duke suggesting Astorica to invite Hiroto to Agnika despite the latter's scorn for the MC remains visible over what happened at Volume 19.
2. Then, you have Gassel who played as a wild card because it will turn against Hybride should Hybride accept demands from either Gudrun and Astorica.

[*] Unfortunately, Hydran is back as it seems he is still scorn both Hiroto and the vampires for his own downfall. Yes, really.
