Still, if Brera joins the battle, Alto is still going to lose even if he has the Armored Pack. I mean to me, if the VF-27 isn't using the Ex-Gear system the other possibility is the DBI. Super Human reaction + Super Human thought + Zero Lag equipment response = Doom.

I never expected Alto to win unless he displayed the kind of cleaver trickery he utilized in Episode 9. After all, Macross protagonists are never the best pilots - Tak |

No, I don't mean lose as in who comes out on top. I meant him surviving. And as for episode 9, that wasn't trickery, that was strategy; one that Brera wasn't expecting. Brera was fooling around in that episode. When he became a little more serious in episode 13, Alto nearly died. So if Brera truly means to shoot Alto down, Captain's Armored Pack won't save Alto.

I'd say Brera is practicly unbeatable. The way he handles his jet like in ep7 when Mikhail notices him, he doesnt seem to be bothered by extreme G's that would otherwise strain a human, that and the superiority of the VF-27's manouvrability even outperforming a VF-25 with a Fastpack They'd need to open a big bag of tricks to take him out. * Cyborg * Superior VF-27 * Interfaced controls (probably) Raises the question, who IS the best Pilot in the Macross series. hmmz maybe something for in one of the general topics |

Seriously though, we should expect a better showing from Alto. This is the obvious. This time, If Alto still can't scratch Brera's Paintjob, then Brera is God.

Brera is not a god no, but he does hold all the cards. And yes serious team work would be needed to punch his ticket. In all the fights we've seen from Brera is that he clearly was playing around a bit. When things got serious, his leash was pulled by Grace every time. |
