Though someone does say on 2ch, that what's mentioned on the obi strip is: I "want to do!" anime adaptation project is in progress

Ohh god, not the shitai (want to do) again... I have a bad memory of this "shitai"...

Will this be really getting an anime adaptation???
Yes, exactly ? The light novels getting animated is in progress since Shana.

It says on the image:

アニメ化したい!
Want to do an anime adaptation!

Will the light novel series Rokujouma no Shinryakusha!? be really getting an anime adaptation?

I'm disappointed they plan to do s2 of Railgun instead of continuing the original series.

Aren't they doing both? An S2 of Index, then an S2 of Railgun?

Sadly, no season 2 of index has been announced; for some reason *cough*marimite*cough* yuri became pretty popular the last years so railgun sounds more likely.

Sure, JC Staff could do a second season of Railgun already if they wanted to troll on fans of other series-es they're doing. People still hope for a Hayate season 3 and some for Zero no Tsukaima season 4, plus Index season 2, and JC Staff already announced Shana season 3 quite some time ago.

A Railgun OAV or something like that is more likely. If they honestly do troll on the fans of their other series-es by doing Railgun S2 before their other series-es that ended longer ago (Railgun just ended last month.....), then I'll be disappointed too.

Finally the promotion movie of the shounen(boy's) light novel series Rokujouma no Shinryakusha!? by Takehaya (author) and Poco (illustrator) is up at the following site:
http://hobbyjapan.co.jp/hjbunko/6joma/special.html

The HJ Bunko's Rokujouma no Shinryakusha!? want to do! anime adaptation project is starting...

I've started an AnimeSuki thread for this, in case it really gets an anime adaptation, at the following link:

A new mystery collaboration project between Sunrise, Lantis and Dengeki G's Magazine has started.

The name of the project is:
ラブライブ! School idol project
Love Live! School idol project

A teaser site for the project has opened at the following link:
http://gs.dengeki.com/lovelive/

Sunrise is an anime production company...
Lantis is a music production company...

The name of the project is "Love Live! School idol project"...

Source: MoonPhase

There's "live" in the name of the project... not to mention that the collaboration has an anime production company and a music production company... is this new mystery project, a new anime project?

The teaser site for this new mystery collaboration project will debut on June 30th, 2010, so by the end of next month we'll know what this project is...

The studio has absolutely no control over whether Zero no Tsukaima and Hayate get made (which could easily go to other animation production companies; GENCO and Shogakukan obviously have no problem kicking series from team to team) and very little control over Shana/Index.

Shana 3 has never been announced. We know that Geneon intends to do it, but it's going to be coordinated with the progression of the light novels (which are approaching an end). The OVAs are there to tide fans over, so ask Dengeki and Yashichiro Takahashi to hurry up.

Shakugan no Shana 3 is planned for October and add a total of 24 episodes like the first two seasons and follow the original light novel to conclude the end.

A friend told me that Moon Phase stated that Kodomo No Jikan is getting another anime series. Could someone confirm this?

That's only speculation; there have been no official announcements to that effect. It certainly has some logic to it (the last of the 4 OVA episodes arrives in September, so a TV series starting in October would be timely), but it isn't fact.

Few posts moved to the Rail Gun General Discussion thread. Let's leave this thread for the announcement only.

Kinda nitpicking but the wording doesn't hint, but actually says Index2 is already in the making .
