Finally it's time for the match we've all been waiting for. Ryuuka's pretty much gonna get ditched, so we'll see if Kuro can pull through against Nyaruko.

Looks like the 'cross-town traffic' just got thicker, so watch out for merging omnibuses girls ok. Wouldn't want an accident now would we?

They've been going easy on the tactical voting because they had 43 characters and they don't want to unite everybody else against them. Better to make Rie supporters look like the bad guys.

Looking at the past charts, the really weak fodder characters generally had about as many votes as Ryuuka does now. There's probably a few jokers who just like voting for the weakest character whenever they don't care about the match.

I'm curious about how the other one will look without fakes. If Hibiki has no fakes, her 48 would put her between Shizuno and Cthuuko. However, she's registering as a distant third so voters could get discouraged, and chances are all three are getting fakes.

Now then, ladies and gentlemen. I think this match between Kuro and Nyaruko (sorry Ryuuka fans) is going to go down to the vote verification climax. Kuro is leading Nyaruko by 10 but that can all evaporate if the votes are not genuine. So this will be one to watch. Same with Charlotte, but I don't think Dunois will be in trouble.

Lol'd at the match poster. Oh god, this rematch is gonna be totally screwed up. It might just be a match on who'll be second.

The real interesting match here is Ririchiyo-sama versus Chitanda. Ririchiyo has a lot of potential; she might even be top 16 material. Chitanda looks scarier though, curiously enough.

I made a big mistake with Charlotte's strength. I expected the match to be between Rin and Hibiki but it's Charlotte who comes out on top with room to spare. I didn't think of it at the time but I wonder if this is due to Kuro also being voiced by Hanazawa Kana. After all that worring I did about Kuro, she goes out and totally smokes Nyaruko. The match was not ever close. Poor Ryuuka got totally stomped but that was to be expected.

We've got two more matches that probably shouldn't be Round 2 matches this time. Following up her sister, Matsumi has drawn two tough opponents. Just 3 years ago Yui and Taiga were the two strongest characters. While some time has past, both of them are still very dangerous. Even now Taiga is undefeated in the main tournament. At this point, I think Yui and Taiga have fallen too much to deal with a top tier Saki character. I'm not sure if another fanbase will try and use this opportunity to snipe Yuu but I think she'll manage. The second match isn't quite as vicious but Chitanda and Ririchiyo both derserve to get farther than Round 2. Eru managed to take first place in Preliminary group 1. I think she'll be the one who advances.
