I have a question for those who read the manga, it's regarding what chapter i was on until i stopped...i wanted to wait for anime to pick up from where i stopped reading the manga...but it seems like it's going forever, so i might as well just read the manga.

i'll put the description of the scene i got up to in spoiler tags in case it's still a spoiler (i haven't followed anime recently, but i don't think they're THAT close to where i am now)

do you guys know what chapter that is? I want to pick it up again, or do u guys think im better off just waiting for the anime? Think anime makes things more dramatic? Also, the MOST recent episode covered what chapters? So i can figure out if i should just wait a bit more and just scratch the manga?

^Naruto: Shippuden is still scheduled to air Thursday nights for the conceivable future.

^Yep. 7:30PM till 7:57PM every Thursday (in the Kantou region). Now, just because it is the same now, doesn't mean that the schedule couldn't change in 5 or so episodes when the current season ends. But such a move has not been confirmed yet, so it seems unlikely.

Anyhow, does anyone here collect any of the Naruto card sets that are out there? I have been thinking of doing so and was wondering what the quality of them are like and if they are cool, any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

why is pain purposely "kill" hinata in front of naruto's eyes while he is clearly shown that he already won (not to mention that he used up a huge chunk of his chakra reserve for flattening the village, this just make kyuubi appears and alot of trouble for himself? Dont tell me he just wanna test out the extend of his powers

First off, Hinata was the one that confronted Pain. She initially and intentionally attacked him, and he (quite easily) defeated her. Now, as we have seen, Pain is quite ruthless in his tactics, going so far as to kill everyone who had even the slightest relation to a single man to make it seem as if he never existed. Besides, he's already killed Jiraiya, Shizune, and supposedly Kakashi, killing Hinata on top of that would mean nothing to him. Simply opposing him is all the reason Pain needs to kill someone. Also, he didn't know that "killing" Hinata would have resulted in the release of the Kyuubi, and he certainly didn't want it to happen. It was just an unforeseen consequence of his ruthless actions.

this is what i dont get

after HM training, naruto can sense chakra of any opponent correct?

so after battle with NAGATOs 6 bodies, how come naruto cant sense NAGOTO on the toppest mountain in town? its not like the chakra distributed to the 6 bodies are different to each other, but come from the same source channeling.....so how come naruto cant sense theres another body somewhere else.....instead of relying on a 2nd party

Maybe chakra in bodies is different than original Nagato chakra (that could explain why each body had only one 'path')? Or it's just one more think not to think about to much

So can anyone explain to me how Yondaime's conciousness can be inside Naruto? My guess was part of him was sealed in with Kyuubi after he died using the sealing jutsu, but that just sounds crazy, even in my own head. And if he was sealed in, is he whole or does he have another half floating out there somewhere with the other half of Kyuubi?

I think he said half of him is in naruto, the rest is in the death god with the other half of kyuubi.
