Well, manga ch 4 has been out for a while. We finally got to see Miyuki's classmates, Honoka and Shizuku as well as Morisawa. Mari, Suzune and Asuza also appear in this chapter.

I really want to know what Honoka is saying to Tatsuya. It seems like she has a crush on him but I'm not sure. Also, I wonder why someone like her would activate the CAD like attacking Tatsuya's group. I don't really get the whole situation since I can't understand what they said.

Okay, here's a translation of the last 10 pages of chapter 4. I have never studied Japanese formally, but I can read hiragana/katakana. Using that, my understanding of Japanese based on sound (e.g. watching subtitled anime for almost 2 decades now), and Google to clean up some stuff, I made a very rough translation. I'll get to the rest of it later, but I'll post this now since it was asked about. Just so you know, this took probably 30-45 minutes to do, but it was all the confusing magic explanation stuff (there's another big chunk of it before this), so I don't know exactly how long it will take. Also, don't ask me about translating the novel or anything. I can only do manga because I have no knowledge of kanji. With the manga, I can at least use the furigana to get a reading on the kanji.

just let it be, it's just add more curiosity to others, and raise it popularity. If there's a group already working on it, it's good and will be better if you and him joining them to translate this.

but this is the manga. the group working in the manga is different from the translator for the novel. Well I also help before with the same thing but different manga and even if their is already a group releasing it.

I do this on occasion because I'd like to learn Japanese more if even a just a little bit. I do these things from time to time mostly to keep what little I know intact. It just so happened that this is a series I enjoy and since a group is doing it already, I can compare what I've done with a more accurate translation. I also chose this series because it has a lot of terms you usually don't see in other manga, so I can expand my vocabulary a bit. I can't set time aside every day to formally learn the language, so it's one of the better things I can do to learn.

Err, you do know that I've been translating both the manga and novel until recently right?

Anyway, I've found a replacement translatress for this manga.

She's very experienced and this is useless info, but she appears to be a cosplayer as well.

@lare: do you still do tl job for another manga/LN larethian? Just curious

back on topic, chapter feel so few for one month wait ugh. But next chapter maybe we'll get Hattori vs Tatsuya fight so it should worth the wait...

Err. I met her on the net. She PM-ed to ask to translate the LNs. I don't know any translators in RL.

Though I do know a few cosplayers in RL.

I'm not really translating anything now except for Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi (which is really easy). I'm 90% retired. I wish I have time to translate the series in my sig though. But alas, Time is a very high-level monster.
