But I guess you gotta give the others a reason to get points... After all, no one's beaten 100 monsters in this contest before, apparently.

On the one hand it is kind of unfair to Fairy Tail A as the contest part was supposed to end when all 100 monsters were defeated according to the rule, which Erza did. And the other two contests did have the possibility of the first place winner keeping anyone else from getting points.

On the other hand, the rules didn't expect the first person to go to clear all 100 at once, and it'd be kind of unfair to the rest to leave them with zero points simply due to luck of the draw.

That's the way the cookie crumbles. Several times now, teams have gone with getting 0 points; I wouldn't expect that to change now. I think they've moved onto the battle portion now.

And Cana uses Fairy Glitter again... whether it's another one-shot from Mavis, or she still has somewhat retained it, it's still interesting. I kinda hope for the latter, but I still want to know what the difference is between it and Fairy Law. It's one of the three great Fairy magics, supposedly, but it's another attack spell? Fairy Law is the ultimate attack spell, defeating everyone the caster sees as an enemy, which would make Glitter redundant. Hope there is more to it, and that Cana is recognized as S rank sometime later.

And if Laxus is fighting Alexy next week, it could happen outside the tournament, or they could just scuffle a little bit outside the tournament, like Natsu did with Sabertooth. Or, by the luck of the draw, FT B could have 2 fights.

Well, a more complete set of raws is out, and it seems the "MPF" is actually a device the other participants are supposed to attack. The stronger the attack, the more points they get.

From strongest to weakest, here's the rankings of their attacks:

Cana - 9999 MP (Fairy Glitter)
Jura - 8544 MP (Rumbling Fugaku)
Orga - 3285 MP (120mm Black Lightning Cannon)
Millianna - 365 MP (Kitten Blast)

I know a few here hate her and all and the deal with what she done on the island still lingers but I never really held it against her, I'm too weak willed against such a lass.
She's I'd say one of the hotter girls of this series.

Altho seems now that she's used FG, it's gathered the interested of RT, which if I had to guess they want it.
More to whats going on than just the Zeref thing me thinks.

Pretty much. It stands for "Magic Power Finder"; it's a crystal ball that measures the magic power (MP) of any attack performed on it. The competitors (besides Erza) are ranked by the MP of their attacks which, as I've listed above, go as follows:

By the way, just pure by the way. I just had this thought .. could it be .. the true reason for Raven Tail's participation .. is their real target .. Laxus? I mean. After knowing the match ups and being informed that Laxus is going up against one of them they just suddenly decide to 'put their plan in action'. Idk. I guess i'm deluding myself too much after seeing that one small panel with Laxus showing his rape-face & his Dad just being there commenting on Cana.

In short i'm just guessing for whatever reason, Raven Tail's true target is Laxus. It could have something to do with .. idk. Him being a Lacrima-created Dragon Slayer or something.
