Yeah the ranking is mostly accomplishments + popularity/approval from public.

Kamui Woods is the 7th ranked hero but in raw power Ibara(vine girl from class B) is said to be on the same level as him or higher. His rank is probably so high because of rescue/evacuation potential of his quirk.

Fat Gum is fairly strong but he admitted Suneater is flat out superior to him so he was never that strong. His super move was pretty powerful but it's kinda circumstantial and can only be used once so not very reliable.

That wouldn't add up. Deku was told he was quirkless more than ten years ago. All Might had his battle with AFO five (six now I guess) years ago, so if he had a healing quirk back then, he wouldn't be in such a state right now. They mentioned he couldn't heal fully because they found that quirk too late.

I guess it is not because the heroes were killed but more towards that they are gathering at one spot to attack LoV?

Not the least bit surprised that flight will be one of Deku's quirks considering how that's a classic superhero power.

As for all the heroes disappearing, they are probably on a mission together, but leaving the city undefended is most likely going to bite them in the ass.

Yeah, the wording is misleading. I do think a lot of heroes are going to get killed though.

I have a feeling the second and third's quirks are going to be totally broken

The others will be very strong as well of course. Black Whip apparently wasn't that strong originally but Deku's version(when mastered) is easily top grade.

That panel of previous users entrusting the quirk to the next generation was really powerful...

Anyway, I wonder if Deku unlocked float already during the time skip. And what kind of changes might have happened to others as well.

Still I wonder what was that ending that this day heroes disappeared from streets.

Maybe lots of those heroes was part of the destro movement so on command they retreated from hero work leaving city unprotected.

Other options are that Tomura used his power or tehy copied the quirk erasing drug so loooots of heroes lost their quirks and had to retire.

Still I wonder if we will jump into 2months after path in next chapter or was this like a sneak peek of the events that will happen but before we learn how did this happen we will see Midorya unlocking new powers.

But I guess author wants to speed up the story a bit since in last few chapters it felt a bit stale.

If the copy quirk was used on OFA or AFO it wouldn't be able to copy the stock elements but wouldn't it still be able to transfer quirks?

Although it wouldn't be used in battle, the ability to transfer quirks is quite dangerous.

One ability might be pretty meh by itself but combined with another it could be deadly. I've seen many people say invisible girl with OFA's strength would be utterly broken, but her quirk is still considered one of the weakest. But the OFA boost seems massive. The amount of black tendrils Deku manifested when he first unlocked black whip was absolutely nuts. I wonder what kind of change could have happened to Nana's quirk. Maybe he can fly at super speed(even faster than 100% ofa) or float/control other things around him. Kind of like a stronger version of his mom's quirk __________________

I think it'll just be super flight in the end. Then again, Black Whip overlaps with Sero's quirk but Sero is a minor character. Pretty sure super healing will be one of the quirks (probably one of the two they don't know about) because it's pretty much a must against Shigaraki. __________________

Didn't Expect Hori to jump there so soon. I wonder if Mirio got back his quirk by now... His power is really needed right now... Though even with him it's a hopeless situation, he's not All Might. __________________
