As a hardcore Mazinger fan and as one of those standing right in front when Aniki performed at Singapore's Anime Festival Asia last year, I will definitely be watching it. Just thinking about how Mazinger Z is going to kick ass gets my hot blood up and running.

I missed Aniki's concert night because I had to leave at evening to attend my friend's wedding dinner :/

But I stayed the whole day for Sunday and sat down for Aniki's mini concert. He's godly, I could feel the Super Robot Spirit from him, his powerful voice was full of hotbloodedness.

MAJIN GO!!!

I think the 2 Manzinger Machines and Grendicer might make a comeback. But I guess Mazinkaiser and Grendier being together might not or will happen. Since it only happened once in the all Gona Gai robot special. Where Shin Getter, Grendicer and a flying Mazinkaiser is up against the flame dude(forgot the name) when the dark General was killed.

Well if it's for the very first robot piloted by a hero then I guess we better have a pure Mazinger episode. Though it won't be bad if there's a hint of Great Mazinger in the end.

No, it won't be a prequel to Mazinkaiser.

Simply because its named Shin/True Mazinger Z, and follows the true outcomes of what happened in the original manga.

Mazinkaiser was never intended to happen by Go Nagai, it was SRW F Final that asked Go Nagai to create a new Mazinger upgrade to match the ever stronger super robots, especially Shin Getter.

The first half. Afterwards the manga was dumped into a children magazine (that's why the Jet Scrander was actually created, as Nagai was adamant in saying Mazinger Z couldn't fly, but was pressured by said magazine and the readers).

Well if it's purely manga based....then MAZIN GO MAZIN GO... SHIN MAZINGER Z!!!!

No wonder the artwork is very near to Gonagai's art style most especially Shiro and Dr.Yumi. It's like the manga became anime.
