Both are too generic in the Nanoha universe. Don't really have anything I can feel interested on or catched by.

Come on Seven Arcs, you cna do it better creating more "original" characters.

Nice thing about Kyrie and other girls like her (Riko from Hidan no Aria for example) is that they're not afraid to flaunt their sexuality. Japan is a country with more reserved values so it's a nice change from the usual Yamato Nadesico type of character.

Besides, there's no time travelers in Nanoha until these two.

And, Rick, remember how the Japanese look at nudity and sexuality. It's not the same as how people outside of Japan sees it.

There is a large difference between fanservice and a character who loves to flaunt her sexuality as part of her personality. In that regard, Kyrie is unique in Nanohaverse.

Please, Nanoha's Barrier Jacket had long sleeves, short gloves, broader shoulders, tighter boots, different patterned skirt, a differently designed undershirt and a second long open skirt. The list of similarities is shorter than the list of differences.

I got a translation of Kyrie's personality already:

She uses guns and Formula Eltria like her sister Amitie.

By contrast to Amitie, her personality is cool and cynical. She is a natural airhead (tennen-boke). She seemingly has no problems showing of her sexuality, often being depicted with an impish grin when under dressed. Her weapon's name is "Variant Zapper", just like Amitie's. She can switch guns (Zapper) to a one-hand sword (Fencer) and to a two-hand sword (Heavy edge).

Dunno about Amitie... it's probably something like hotheaded and idealistic (not an airhead) and reserved about stripping in front of other people.

10% of myself agree with both being not original and 90% of myself agree with unique.

1) Now their looks... costumes that are almos a rip-off from Nanoha's StrikerS outfit one even with the same colors): the only ripoff I could see was that the jacket was taken from Nanoha's/Subaru's, the rest of the uniform is different [haven't seen one wear a short skirt anyway].

2) And yeah.... all/most of character archetypes have been used, so not completely original, but not 100% seen.

3) Only Subaru -> Teana but otherwise I haven't seen any other character flaunt sexuality XD

Our modest outpost of the fandom has more than a thousand and half again pages of original characters. It is inevitable that any sanely-designed character they add to the Nanohaverse in any official capacity will be "unoriginal," and squabbles will ensue.

She doesn't look like Signum though.... I agree that Amitie looks like Vita (somewhat)
