@Tsunade666 -- Five Leaves is set in Edo period Tokyo. A samurai who lacks courage and certainty (but is pretty able) is down on his luck and falls in with a band of thieves who kidnap the sons of rich people. The story follows his strange moral hesitancies and the crafty but attractive leader of the group. Very low-key, a bit slow, but full of character and implication. Great music, wonderful voice-acting and a strange look that ends up being very effective.

I hate it!!!

What's with the sudden changes of animation. It changes drastically. I know they are trying to copy the garness of gurren lagann in some scene but heck. The body of akuto isn't even fit or right anymore. It turns macho it turns fit it turns into normal. And the Mr X is crap, total crappy arsehole. Sai is too good to defend him.

And just as I thought Hiroshi is the hero. Well they too much fast pace everything. Making it hard for me to watch. I don't know if it's awesome or crappy anymore. It's just that I feel it's a huge waste. They totally cut the budget in this episode.

Well the finally put a good one for me. Nice Korone! no one still beats her on teasing Sai.

what do you mean? they smoke out their budget? because to me I really hate the graphics and animation. I love episode 5's animation. At least it's preferable to me.

Even if the story is good. They shoudn't butchered the show.

Anyway it seems like Akuto's a bit dense/insensitive towards guys after all...ah well, he must compensate for his luck with girls i guess ?
So we have a random hentai-oyaji flasher dude as the antagonist now ?and dear God, Giant Sea Cucumber. Words failed me

It's a nice bit of continuity as well when Keena tells Akuto not to kill the baddie considering what he's done in ep 3

. Then again he presumably killed his friend, held her friend's little sister and one primary member of his harem(IN CHAINS. That's just wrong...it's the Maou's sole prerogative after all

) hostage, not to mention a pervert so yeah...a bit of restraint from a tender voice should come in handy. Btw is the muscle ripping part really necessary? i mean i've nothing against well-muscled action heroes or anything, on the contrary i prefer them to wimpy looking ones, but it's a bit overdone here don't you think

?
Overall the action animation in this ep really isn't what i'll call fluid or pleasing to the eyes imho... hope they'll do better next time

p.s is it just me or korone looks a bit different(meaning hotter

) than usual ?

....oh and hiroshi's more like a megaman wannabe now rather than a kamen rider lawl

they should used black than blue. It hurts my eyes. And his your typical hero. Trying to hide the fact that his the hero but it didn't work on Akuto though. Keina is really the one who warns and look up to Akuto for me.

Now I wonder who will be the heroine of the hero. Their is no hero without a partner. It's just like the demon lord without his harem.

what his a siscon? will his sister be enrolling on the same school? because if I remember it right the next episode is about who is your crush....
and I'm forseing a kissing scene

aside from the crappy animation. The prediction of someone with a huge sea cucumber monster really did happen.

Hiroshi has a Chrono Changer. He's a toku hero. My love for toku isn't really hidden, and for that alone, I am left without much to say, other than Mister X had it coming, and Yukiko was cute. Keena apologizes for not being much help. New villain Mr. X part of an organization that wants to start a war summons a kaijuu to wreck havoc Witnessed by Hiroshi, Keena and Hiroshi's sister. Hiroshi tries to be manly but is thrown to the sea. Akuto and Junko try to confront Mr. X. Mr. X curb stompeds Akuto with anti-magician soundwaves. What is with mad scientists with soundwave weapons this year? Akuto gets back his groove with GARness. Mr. X being a jerk shoots his women but Korone returns and protects them. Korone proceeds to beat the crap off Mr. X. Meanwhile Hiroshi ends up in cave discovering a shrine. He prays that the hero come and save his town. The shrine activates like Peterhausen's security system. It turns out the Hero is a suit with a cape and helmet with a wrist henshin device. Hiroshi transforms into the Hero and flies to his town to save it from the kaijuu. Seeing his folks in danger he consults the AI as to his options and proceeds to destroy the kaijuu. Hiroshi then comes for the the bastard who started all this but is bro-fisted by Akuto to stop him from harming an already beaten man. Hero makes an exit. Hiroshi appears from another direction. Akuto suspects or in this case knows Hiroshi is the Hero. The reason why Hiroshi likes Akuto is that he doesn't like the idea of destiny. Apparently he has problem with his father's expectations. Lacking confidence he calls himself weak. Now with the Hero persona as a mask Hiroshi can be confident. Like Clark Kent he keeps his ID secret which is why I call this ep Smallville. The original premise of the Smallville TV show is that before Superman Clark and Luthor were bros but destiny would tear them appart. I find this episode ammusing as Akuto is prophesied as the Maou while Hiroshi becomes the accidental Hero. Oh yeah Korone teases Akuto again.

I do appreciate the new friends/rivals element -can we get Miwa imoto in the harem? just kidding -Akuto barely defeating his opponent is good - we'll get bored if he's too powerful -watch out Akuto, Korone has you figured out now! -finally, marriage with Junko and her reaction! That redeemed the episode for me. HATTORI AKUTO!!!!
