Care to explain why you didn't like it?
I really enjoyed how the concept of immortality feels different from other shows that also boards with the same theme, it packs a surreal fantasy setting with some religious beliefs and even though it was very confusing in some plot points and the fact that one of the arcs serve little purpose to the story (if one have seen the entire show, you know what I'm talking about), it wasn't bad at all for me though it's not made for everyone and I have a few problems with the show personally.

To be honest same here, even though Ai was cute.

Yeah ... my impression was that those people enjoyed it at the beginning gradually lost interest as the series progressed - say, after the half way mark?

I watched it through to the end but would have preferred it if there was more of an overall plot to the series as opposed to a collection of mini-arcs. They were fine as far as they went - some better than others, but the feeling I got at the end of the series was that of listening to someone talk and having them stop mid sentence. :\

Everyone certainly should.

In all seriousness, I don't know how anyone could find it "boring", especially the first episode!
Sure as hell not from "lack of action".

I don't "hate" this series...but I find Shoujo Kakumei Utena to be VERY overrated. The only likable character is the heroine, the story is an acid trip...full of taboo relationships that are executed BADLY. Really, all this anime has going for it are the visuals, surrealism, and the music. Yet people insist "IT'S THE BEST SHOUJO SERIES EVEEEER" while I'm blinking and saying "........you're kidding, right? It lacks absolutely everything I love about shoujo!!"

While not everyone seems to like Maria+Holic but I really, really annoyed to see how big its fanbase. First of all it encourages bullying, homophobia and discrimination and I surprised that nobody seems to care. Maybe it is a comedy and satire show but that's not an excuse to me. I also know that Maria is supposed to be a villain protagonist and Kanako is an antagonist but there still something still rubbing me in wrong way. I have no idea what this show try to bring to us except "look a lesbian and we should bully her, makes her life a living Hell out of her!" If Kanako is a gay boy and Maria is a sadistic crossdressing girl and I bet most people, especially Americans would react more negatively towards this show.

I really beginning to become annoyed at the current Pokemon anime. Maybe it is nostalgia but Ash cannot still be ten years old after fifteen years.

POKEMON does indeed tend to come off as being spastic in it's redundancy.

the first season or two often made up for this with generally excellent writing, but after that, well... MEH.

I lost interesting when Misty left the gang. Just when I thought there was already chemistry going on between the two.

This.

Spoiler for Chiibi's feelings on Misty leaving and the Pokemon series onwards:

Yup.

Same here. I dropped after one ep, and read neg reviews since some people do force themselves to watch every ep to review "fairly"( I sorta disagree with that lol) . It was not funny and just unpleasant for the reasons u described. All the characters sucked too. If u want solid comedy + shoujo ai I recommend battle athletes victory tv series

I really REALLY wanted to like Nagi no Asukara. I really did. It just seemed so sweet and interesting once its full premise was revealed. But I kept on debating whether I should watch it or not because I was afraid they might shoehorn in some pointless fondling scenes, so I decided to wait...and I was right, so I've decided to stay away from it (but if you like it, it's okay!). Unfortunately, just mentioning this has made people misunderstand and demonize me, which makes me mad. If you like it, it's okay! I'm not trying to stop anyone from watching it! It's JUST my opinion! PLEASE don't make a big deal out of it! I dropped SAO like this, but I picked it up again simply because I heard the English dub is good, and it is to an extent...though I still kinda don't like it.

A review of a person, that did not finish the show until the end, is not credible at all. This is almost as bad as someone only playing the alpha version of a game and then writing a review for the polished game.

I think it's fine. If somebody doesn't like a show then they don't have to force themselves to watch it and it clearly says how many eps the person saw when hey reviewed it at least on mal. If u want to ignore all reviews where the person didnt watc all the eps to ahead but I will not.
