Not really. What was important about Perseus was that he was also Mitra, Verethragna's boss. The Steel attribute mostly helps against dragons and other mother earth divinities.

. Awesome episode, a lot of progress has been made. I was like really Godou? The chick is dying and you're still acting clueless? Luckily, he has a knack for getting the picture when he needs to, and boy did he. For the rest of the wives, you'll probably be better off NOT waiting until they are about to die to return feelings Godou.

Nice that Ena got saved, and grew the relationship a little in the progress. She was already completely committed to marrying Godou since last episode, it probably is a good idea that she grows feelings for him so she can enjoy the marriage. Godou saving her from her untimely death is a damn good start.

I mentioned last week I felt Athena was the final part of the Harem, while others felt she was the final enemy. It seems in a very indirect method, we were ALL right. We get 2 different "athenas" Although one was really Metis, but you get the idea. I guess they want to go all out on her being in the harem too. The mysterious part-time Goddess in the harem was interesting to me, but now looks like Athena will go full time MOE loli harem member. And this side of her does indeed seem to have a romantic interest in Godou. No problem with that.

Next episode will be good.

I guess Moethena will make a part of the fandom very happy, considering there are no such developments in the novels...no matter how much they are wanted.

lol i dunno what kiddies on here consider porn to be these days but not even 1 piece of clothing came off. Not to mention it was just mega awkward kissing not even realistic and his torso never even touched her he was arched over her the whole time.

So basically not sure where people see "porn" in this. Last time I checked you have to make body contact and not be fully clothed from head to toe to do anything that would be considered to be porn.

Yea, I didn't want to get into that cause people have different life styles, but I was pretty much feeling the same. As a healthy young man who has been in a few relationships, and have no problem with admitting porn is something I fancy, this wasn't that bad at all for me. Didn't resemble anything like porn, at most maybe a softcore title. Godou didn't even have his crotch between her legs. Now the scene from Hagure with Miu naked sitting on Akatsuki would be a better case imo.

Haven't been here in a while, but just want to pop in and say:

Sounds like sex, looks like sex. Yeah, they had sex. It was done really well though, never felt sleazy.

I didn't expect it when I watched the first ep, but this really became my favourite this season.

Except that scene was just bad. This scene though... did something for me, at least the first time I watched it. Gotta commend Erica's and Godou's VAs for their work, even if the directing was iffy and created some odd spots. Well, the whole sequence did something for me, not just the "finish".

Godou ended up in a really strange place.
The whole thing was unusual, especially that Susano guy.
Well, at least Godou learned a few useful things.
Interesting how now even Athena has started showing her feelings.
It's was nice for a change that Godou saved Erica.
Really good episode!

Don't think it was ACTUAL pregnancy, just sexual innuendos and the likes. In reality, all he did was give her some of his life force, but of course they play it off as her receiving that OTHER type of life force that comes with unprotected sex...

Didn't they say in Athena's arc? In Greek mythology, she was Athena's mother, a goddess of wisdom.

But the Athena Godou met, the heretic Athena, came from earlier myths. A mother earth goddess that was known by different names around the Mediterranean, and which the Greeks turned into Metis, Athena and Medusa when they imposed their patriarchal religion on conquered people. So, even though they just called her Athena, she actually was Athena, Metis, Medusa, and a host of other similar goddesses associated with earth, the underworld, and wisdom.

(Just like Perseus was Perseus, Mitra, and another sun god that wasn't mentioned in the anime, Heliogabalus.)

I would, except I don't think any of those goddesses were supposed to be moe... Attractive, sure, but moe? Then again, heretic divinity is all about breaking out of the mold made for you by myths...

Well, I also don't know exactly what's going on, but I won't lie and say I'm disappointed. I've always wanted Athena to be in the harem, so if this new split actually does permit that, I'm down.

The kiss scene was how I imagined, but was executed well enough. The VA's really did a good job in this episode.

Now I can't wait to see more Athena or even Methis.
