Oh ---- my ---- LOLIssssssssss!!!!!!!
I'm off to spam Mura's VM for making my day! Quote:
At this point I could care less if it is OVA or movie. A TV series, of course, would make me ecstatic, but I just want to hear Motoko-neesan conjugate words once again.

Very nice news!
Now while I've enjoyed every iteration of ghost in the shell thus far, it'd be nice if this is finally the installment that inserts that humorous edge that the shirow manga had. I'd love to see an adaption that has that element to the characters, though I bet my hopes are most likely to be dashed. As long as its quality work though, no big deal.

Hum... reboot keeps me on edge about this. Not sure if good or bad.
The lack of Yoko Kanno and Origa can be either a blessing by lowering the comparisons to the previous work or a curse due to sheer lack of brilliance (big fan here). The same writer as Mardock Scramble however makes my expectations rise again. Those were some pretty good movies and very much in line with how I expect GITS to be. I'm not a big fan of that new chara design though but I'll wait and see. Overall 3 potential pluses vs 3 potential minuses. Prognosis: cautiously optimistic.
