Spoiler for Episode 6 summary - long version:

We open with some shots around town. It looks a lot like Christmas time. Of note, we focus on a blond guy in a wheelchair and a girl by his side, looking at stuffed bears in a window. We cut to a middle aged man being thrown to the ground by another man, who's wearing a delightful sweater. A close up of his hand shows he's holding a cellphone and has a strange, handprint thing on his wrist. And his neck. He's rambling all crazylike. We see a security camera is catching this, and several other, similar scenes around town. A MYSTERIOUS MAN is watching the carnage and talking to... an invisible man wearing a school uniform.

We cut to Hiyuu talking to his adopted!parents on the phone. He tries to hang up the phone when the conversation is over, but his hand slips. He is confused by this turn of events. The music of creepy foreboding begins to play. We pan up to the sky, a red comet falls through the sky.

A Christmas Eve Without Smiles

Adopted!Parents are on their way to visit Hi-chan. They're bringing him a bagfull of strawberry pastires. Aw.

Cut to the antique shop, Hiyuu is handing out ramen fliers to the Magami kids. The scene is really cute. Kyouichi notices something... He squints his eyes and realizes there's something blonde on Hiyuu's back! Marie Crea has attached herself to Hiyuu's back. She argues with Kyouichi (she even does that "pull down your eyelid and stick out your tongue thing), then she starts rubbing up against Hiyuu like a cat.

We find ourselves with the blond wheelchair guy. He's playing basketball in front of a large crowd. He's actually pretty good, but after he shoots the ball he's unable to stop his chair and ends up smashing himself against a wall. Everyone's really concerned but he's cracks a joke and everyone laughs. Later, he's sitting with two friends (who are of no consequence), and they talk about his galpal.

Cut to Sagaya washing a sign. He sees the three guys that used to beat him up. He looks at them, they look at him, it is very awkward. The thugs hurry up and run by him. Sagaya hears a scream, and we cut to Maiko and Iwayama trying to restrain a lady who has those handprints all over her body. Sagaya enters and tries to help. The only thing the woman can say is "Kaosu." This appears to strike a chord with Iwayama and maybe Maiko, but Maiko may just be picking up on Iwayama's reaction. The woman drops her cellphone, which is glowing with rainbow colors. Sagaya looks surprised.

Aoi, Anko and Komaki are walking home, I guess. Aoi spots a little Christmas tree in a store window and suggests they buy it for Hiyuu's adopted parents.

...I'm going to stop right here for a moment and point out that you should realize bad things are going to happen to the adopted parents, alright? Hiyuu's happy, his friends are excited, his parents are excited and they're bringing him gifts.

At the ramen shop, Marie is PISSED because she isn' t with Hiyuu. She screams and breathes fire. It is because the ramen shop guy is holding her under his arm, and that she's yelling at Kyouichi and Daigo. (That's the way to show Kyouichi! Fight for your man!)

Hiyuu's parents are still on the bus, Hiyuu runs down the street smiling... Wheelchair-chan who I will now call Masaki because its shorter and easier to spell, plus I don't actually know what his real name is. It sounds like they're saying Yuuji or Ryuuji or something to that effect. So I'm calling him Masaki. Anyway, he rolls out in front of a truck. His wheelchair goes flying through the air. Luckily, Hiyuu saved him. The driver of the truck has a Kaosu handprint on his neck. Hiyuu either looks intently at the truck or the ruined wheelchair, I don't know. He's also now carrying Masaki on his back. God Hiyuu.

Hiyuu's all like "NO ITS NO PROBLEM RLY" and Masaki kinda fanboys over Hiyuu. Ha. The xylophone of foreboding plays as Masaki waves his parents down. He thanks Hiyuu for his help, and is on his way. Masaki wishes him a Merry Christmas and they drive off. Hiyuu remembers back to episode 14 where Masaki was stalking him.

The mysterious man who was watching he chaos unfold on the security cameras arrives at the bus station and introduces himself to Hiyuu's parents as one of Hiyuu's friends who's come to take them to him. Hiyuu arrives at.... their hotel? I think? And looks around, but no one's there.

Aoi, Komaki and Anko walk through the snow carrying the Christmas Tree. They're all super happy!

Adopted!Mom offers Poser!Friend a strawberry snack as thanks for helping them. Adopted!Mom and Adopted!Dad smile at each other. Hiyuu stands out in front of the hotel, alone, trying to warm his hands. Adopted!Parents and Poser!Friend continue walking, Poser!Friend's mp3 player turns on and we see its glowing all rainbowly like that cellphone from before. You are deeply surprised. Back to Hiyuu, he notices snow on the mailbox across the street and gets really excited.

Poser!Friend leads Adopted!Parents down an alleyway.

Hiyuu builds something in the snow.

Down a darker alleyway, A!Dad finally realizes that SOMETHING IS WRONG. He stops and asks the P!Friend what's going on.

We cut to a church with a statue of, I guess, The Virgin Mary. The Choir Music of Meaningful Tragedy begins to play.

Back in the alleyway, A!Mom tries to ask P!Friend what's going on. P!Friend drops the strawberry snack they gave him before and smashes it with his foot.

Back to a semi-smiling Hiyuu doing something.

Back to A!Parents looking scared and shocked. They start backing away as they see that P!Friend's eyes have gone super wonky and he's holding a screwdriver or an icepick or something. He charges at them, A!Dad tries to protect A!Mom but the screen goes white as it tends to do in these situations. The bag of strawberry snacks falls to the ground, followed by splatters of blood.

Back at the church, people are singing a hymn.

Masaki enjoys dinner with his parents.

The alleyway is splattered with blood, we see a shot of A!Mom's feet and lots more blood. The P!Friend laughs.

Hiyuu looks into the sky, then back down at what he built: Three little snowmen. In other words, his A!Parents and him. Standing together. Hugging. I'm gonna go cry now. ;______;

Commercial Break.

We come back, and see that more snow has covered the snowmen, as well as Hiyuu, who is still standing outside. The detective (remember the detective?) walks up, and Hiyuu realizes what's happened. The detective looks at him sadly.

Cut to the Medical Examiner's room, where two bodies are under white sheets. Hiyuu is there to identify the bodies. Hiyuu takes it about as well as one would expect, he tries to reach out to his A!Mom, but can't. Another man walks in to get the detective. They talk out in the hall. The man says they've found the guy who did it.

Hiyuu hears this. He pushes the detective out of the way and runs upstairs to find the guy who did it. P!Friend turns and looks at Hiyuu, then laughs. Hiyuu goes into full on anger mode, which we have never seen before, I don't think. Even when his Zombie!Girlfriend!Sayo died; even when his Living!Girlfriend!Aoi went crazy; even when his OTP Kyouichi nearly died. This is a whole new level of crazy Hiyuu.

P!Friend cackles, and Hiyuu's been standing still long enough for Detective and Friend to catch up to him. Hiyuu runs up and grabs P!Friend by the collar and yells at him. Detective and Friend restrain Hiyuu, at least until he goes Super Saiyan and starts glowing yellow. The yellow energy knocks everyone down. Actually, Detective manages to brace himself against it, but then after Hiyuu stops glowing yellow the Detective falls down.

Crazy!Hiyuu walks over to P!Friend, who is still laughing. P!Friend makes a joke about the A!Parents, which pisses C!Hiyuu off. C!Hiyuu grabs him by the collar again. P!Friend mentions that he did it for Kaosu. C!Hiyuu notices the handprint on P!Friend's neck and face.

Then P!Friend throws up blood all over Hiyuu and passes out or dies one. Because this is anime, even though we clearly see the blood land on Hiyuu, it does not stay. Close up of the glowing mp3 player.

Masaki watches TV with his family. Masaki touches his cellphone... WHICH IS GLOWING RAINBOWDY.

Kyouichi and Daigo are waiting around outside of the police station. Aoi and Komaki walk up, Komaki is crying. Kyouichi asks where Anko is. She just couldn't. Some snow falls off a tree. Komaki is really taking this hard, y'all.

Emo!Hoodie!Hiyuu (EH!Hiyuu) walks out. He stops. Kyouichi tries to say something but can't. Aoi, who is crying, tries to hold EH!Hiyuu. He walks on by. Aoi, Komaki and Daigo call out to him, Kyouichi actually chases him down. Kyouichi grabs him by the arm and yells at him "TATSUMA TATSUMA TATSUMA!" EH!Hiyuu just pushes his arm away and keeps walking.

Anko is... somewhere, crying into a pillow. This may actually be lifted straight from her Emo episode way back in Season 1. Her cellphone, the ramen flier and the Christmas tree are sitting on the desk.

...somewhere, Doushin, Ryuuzan and Yukino look sad. Yukino begins to cry, but gets up and walks into a different room. Doushin punches the ground. Snow falls on a tree outside.

Kareoke box. Masaki and friends are all sitting around, having a good time. Masaki is looking at his phone which has a game on it called "T.H.A. name of CHAOS", and HEY COULD MASAKI BE THIS KAOSU GUY?! (Note: Chaos and Kaosu are homophones)

We find ourselves at the Antique shop, Sagaya is talking to the team (well, Komaki and Aoi and Daigo and Kisaragi). He shows them his phone, which also has T.H.A. name of CHAOS on it. We flash back to when Sagaya was Aoi's creepy stalker. We find that he and this Kaosu fellow had been communicating on 2chan. Heh. Sagaya's handle was "Dream" (or possibly "Dream-something") and Kaosu was "Chaos."

Kyouichi has a motorcycle?

The team figures that Kaosu wants to push Hiyuu over the edge, or something.

Anko starts tearing through books, looking for information. Wait, isn't this like, exactly what happened with her in Season 1? She freaked out then buried herself in research to get better? Her phone rings...

Motorcycle!Kyouichi rides down the street. He passes Masaki and Galpal.

EH!Hiyuu lurches to a seedy looking bar. A middle-aged man tries to stop him. EH!Hiyuu grabs him by the shirt and slams him into a wall. EH!Hiyuu wants to know where Kaosu is. He throws the guy across the bar. The guy is screaming for mercy blah blah blah, EH!Hiyuu grabs him by the hair and pulls him up. A wooden sword flies by and into the wall. Kyouichi is standing behind EH!Hiyuu.

Kyouichi looks PISSED. EH!Hiyuu turns to look at him and lets go of the guy, who then runs off. Kyouichi's all "If you're gonna fight someone, you can fight me." Hiyuu fist tightens...

Cut to Aoi running down the street.

Cut back to EH!Hiyuu knocking the crap out of Kyouichi. Kyouichi comes back with a swift punch to EH!Hiyuu's stomach. EH!Hiyuu falls to the ground, and I'm sure this is the first time he's been on all fours with Kyouichi. EH!Hiyuu looks up, and we cut outside to Aoi arriving at the bar. No one tries to stop her. None of these skeezy bar guys tries to stop the allegedly super hot highschool girl who's wearing a skirt that is like, really short. Freakishly short. Especially for it to be winter. Geez.

Down in the bar, EH!Hiyuu punches Kyouichi in the face, Kyouichi punches EH!Hiyuu, back and forth back and forth. Aoi runs in and screams for them to stop. She tries to pull them apart, only to have EH!Hiyuu knock her away and into a computer (its a internet bar!). Kyouichi runs over to help Aoi up, EH!Hiyuu realizes he hurt Precious Princess St. Aoi. EH!Hiyuu runs off because he can't bear the shame. St. Aoi begs for him to stay. EH!Hiyuu runs out of the bar and down the street, as e pan up to the sky and the ED theme starts in (same ED).

I don't really like it. It isn't as eye-catching as the 1st one nor is the song as good. But i must say, your reviews are great Jesus Christnekoff! I wanna see that episode just to see Aoi get smacked. God is she annoying.

Still think op 1 had a bigger impact, but whats up with Kyouichi chasing after Hiyuu, is that supposed to mean something

Spoiler for Episode 7 Long Summary:

We open with a shot of the snowmen family Hiyuu made last episode. A voice over of Hiyuu begins:
"Father, Mother, thank you for the strawberries..."
We cut to a shot of the Church from last episode, and then the blood splattered alleyway.
The voice over continues, which is basically in the form of a thank you letter, and its really sad y'all, and we see EH!Hiyuu wandering around the city.
A surveillance camera is watching Hiyuu, and cut back to a desktop computer with various video feeds. Who could be watching it? Kaosu, of course. He's sipping tea or coffee or something? He also has a thing of cookies that his galpal made him, along with a note that insinuates she wants to do something drrty to him on Christmas Eve. We also see how his name is spelled: Ryuuji.

Cut to a time-lapsed shot of Tokyo Tower, then to a time lapse shot of Yagyu walking down the street slowly. We get a close up of his face. Remember Yagyu, guys? The big bad? Yeah. A red comet falls behind him.

OP I PRAY IN THE DAAAAAAAAAAAAARK

We come back to a shot of the moon. The Magami Four + Kisaragi are regrouping. Komaki puts a bandage on Aoi's head (Didn't... didn't Hiyuu like, totally beat the crap out of Kyouichi? Where are his bandages?)

Kyouichi recalls the fight from last episode. Oh yeah, there are a lot of flashbacks in this episode. Sigh.
Say, what is going on with Daigo's eye? More talking "WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO???" and so forth. The gist of this scene is "LET'S SPLIT UP, GANG!"

Part 7/Birth Star Chapter/Black Turtle's Story: Kaosu

EH!Hiyuu stumbles into a misty graveyard, the yellow dragon symbol thing flashes in his mind. He recalls the bodies of A!Parents at the police station, then raises his hand into the air and screams. He falls to the knees and screams in pain. His lines of Power tear across his face (remember those lines? It seems like its been a really long time since we've seen them.) EH!Hiyuu goes Super Saiyan again, glowing golden. Pink lines of energy flow through Tokyo. See kids, those are called Ley Lines (Or Dragon Veins).

Komaki and Daigo are running, looking for Hiyuu. Daigo stops and grabs his hand in pain.

Cut to Alan, who suddenly yells "OUCH." He falls to his knees and Sera runs over to see about him. She doesn't say anything, of course, but he assures her he's ok. His foot is glowing yellow, despite him wearing what appears to be the ugliest boots ever.

Cut to a bowl of strawberries. Ramen guy reaches in and grabs a bunch, then squishes them together into a pot at Marie's request. Ha, this is really cute. She's standing on a stool and starts to trip as her foot begins to glow yellow. She falls, but we cut the shot to a book and a scroll falling to the floor. Kisaragi's hand is also glowing. GEE WHAT COULD THESE KIDS HAVE IN COMMON???? Unlike everyone else, Kisaragi's just like "This is...?" instead of screaming in pain.

Back to Daigo and Komaki. Daigo is on his knees, clutching his hand. Komaki wants to know what's wrong.

We cut to Kaosu, who's in a bathtub. He's shaking up some hand soap? Or something? I don't really understand this scene, but he dumps the hand soap or lotion or whatever down the drain, and we see that the cookies were inside the container. What an asshole.

Kyouichi runs through the city and has flashbacks of EH!Hiyuu attacking him.

Aoi runs through the city and looks under a bridge. She sees a bunch of homeless people and seems to be surprised and somewhat disgusted by them. Huh.She has a flashback of her and Hiyuu's heart-to-heart where she got naked for him.

Daigo runs through a crowd of people, and has a flashback of his Byakko transformation.

Anko is looking up things on the computer, and something surprises her.

Sagaya is looking through the cellphone of badness.

Komaki calls her parents.

Kisaragi looks a book about the Four Gods, then looks at his hand.

Cut to a photo of the A!Parents. We're at the police department. The detectives on duty (Not THE detective) are tsk, tsking about their murder.

Cut to the Medical Examiner. He's looking at a photo on his computer of 3 people: They appear to be him, THE detective (when he was much younger and less grey) and a small child. Or maybe he's the small child and the older guy that looks like him is his brother? Anyway, he flashes back to when Hiyuu came to identify his parents. We get to see something we didn't see last time, and that is the Medical Examiner's eye going all evil and hatredy when Hiyuu's looking at the bodies.

Next day (ie, Christmas Day), Magami. People are discussing the murder of the A!Parents. The eyepatch girl from waaaaaaaay back in Episode, 2, I think? Well, she's crying. It also sounds like Alan's there, but I do not see him. They may just be making economical use of voice actors.

A man? A fellow teacher? A student? Whatever. This guy comes to tell Inugami-sensei about the A!Parents. Inugami looks over at the gates and sees THE Detective. Inugami is smoking, again, and he doesn't look particularly happy.

EH!Hiyuu "slept" in an alleyway, on top of a pile of trash. A homeless bum comes up and begins taunting him, the homeless bum has Kaosu-brand hand prints on his face. EH!Hiyuu sees this and grabs the hobo by the jacket. The hobo's demeanor changes, and he struggles to get free. He's noticeably afraid. He falls to the ground sobbing.

A woman walks by and taunts EH!Hiyuu. EH!Hiyuu chases after her, and grabs her shoulder. She turns around, frightened by the crazy and, frankly, dirty looking highschool kid. EH!Hiyuu pulls back. A little kid rides by on a bike, taunting him. EH!Hiyuu starts to follow him, but he's blocked by a wealthy looking woman and her little girl. Both have Kaosu-brand hand prints and both taunt him. EH!Hiyuu rudely stumbles around them. We pull back on the camera to see the woman backing away from him.

I'm not sure I explained it well enough, but basically what's happening is EH!Hiyuu is going crazy, and seeing people taunt him via Kaosu-inspired sayings, but they really aren't.

Hiyuu clutches his head and screams when a couple comes up to him and the same thing happens. He charges at them, but misses and instead punches an electric pole? Or a light pole? I don't know. He punches it in half.

A computer come on in someone's room, and we see that Kyouichi, Daigo and I guess Aoi and Komaki are being monitored via surveillance cameras. We fade into a shot of an aquarium. Ryuuji (Kaosu) is having cake with his Galpal, who I will call Maizono even though I don't think it is Maizono. He opens his cellphone, which has the crazy rainbow pattern, and calls someone. Maizono asks who he's speaking to. He says Santa. She calls him an idiot.

Daigo is walking through the city, and the same thing that happened to EH!Hiyuu happens to him. People start taunting him but they really aren't.

Same thing happens to Komaki. She grabs her head and falls to her knees and screams for it stop.

Same thing for Aoi, except she seems to be more reading people's thoughts? Because she can't tell who's saying it? She deduces its Kaosu.

Now for Kyouichi. Except he actually handles himself with a little bit of grace and doesn't freak out.

The monk chant of foreboding begins to play.
Cut back to Anko, sitting at her computer. Her eyes are zoned out. Same with Sagaya, but with the cellphone.

Kisaragi looks out the window of the antique shop and sees... ZOMBIES! But, no, these are the Kaosu-brand hand print Zombies, not <i>actual</i> zombies. This isn't episode 1! They're sort of congregating outside, across the street. Then they start descending on his store... and start chunking molotov cocktails at it. gg guys, you're throwing fire at a character who's family practices the art of water-based ninjutsu. Great. Seriosuly, in the game, he has like, two skills that aren't water based.

EH!Hiyuu finds himself in an alleyway. He stumbles through it, head down. Then he notices something on the ground. Like... chalk. Like... the kind the police use at crime scenes to outline where a body was found. That type of chalk. You all see where this is going. The camera has a shot of EH!Hiyuu's face, and we can see some blood on the wall beside him.
EH!Hiyuu is shocked, raises his head and looks at blood splattered walls, and he realizes where he is. He grabs his head and begins screaming, and the screen begins flashing. He starts punching the wall. Over and over and over and over. Chunks of the wall fall to the ground. We see the police tape that he somehow got by.
Sagaya appears at the other end of the alley. He has Kaosu-brand hand print on his wrist. And neck. He does that "fufufufu" thing.

Cut back to the Kisaragi Antique Shop Bonfire. The fire fighters are there, but they're just standing there, watching the inferno. Actually, the fire is a really cheesy CGI effect. Could this be the end of Kisaragi?! HE SURELY MUST BE DEAD!

Cut to Kyouichi being swept up in a crowd of Kaosu-brand hand print zombies. Like, not being carried, per se, but being unable to get out. Same thing is happening with Aoi. She's looking for everyone else. Kyouichi calls out to his friends. We see that Komaki is also in the crowd, calling out to Aoi. Aoi answers her, telling her its ok. Daigo is in the crowd too, and calling out to Sakurai-san! The crowd is heading to the Church from last episode.

When they arrive, the crowd begins to dissipate, leaving our four main characters in front of the church. Someone wearing a Magami uniform is standing on the front steps. The Magami Four don't notice her, and are instead looking aroun at the crowd, which has backed up to give them room. This is actually quite unsettling. Kyouichi looks around to the steps... and realizes who's standing there... ANKO. DUN DUN DUN. Yes, Anko is the mastermind of the entire series, she's the final boss.

Just kidding. She's got the Kaosu-brand hand prints too. The doors open up behind her, and she leads them inside. The choir music of creepy confrontation begins. Sagaya stands in the pullpit in front of the statue of Mary. EH!Hiyuu appears behind him. The Magami Four are really excited about it. Sagaya collapses, and so does Anko. Komaki runs over to catch Anko. EH!Hiyuu lets Sagaya fall to the ground.

The lights come on, and someone lets one of those poppers off. You know, the Japanese cone things that shoot out confetti. Its Ryuuji! Or Kaosu! He says "Merry Christmas!" He's behind the Magami Four+Anko. They turn to look at him.
He talks a little, then rolls forward to be in the midst of them, and introduces himself as Kaosu.

EH!Hiyuu is sort of in a state of shock. Everyone sort of is. I mean, they're confronted by a guy in a wheelchair who ordered the murders of the A!Parents. Aoi is all "Why?!" EH!Hiyuu falls to his knees.
Everyone else sort of asks Kaosu why, and he's kind of an asshole and doesn't give a good answer. He rolls towards the pullpit and EH!Hiyuu, who's glaring at him, rambling all the way. We see a close up of the Mary statue.

Kaosu explains some of the details of his plan, and how he used the CHAOS game to control people. We see some clips of various Kaosu-printed people from the previous episode, including the P!Friend. He stops in front of EH!Hiyuu, who's still on his knees, then turns around to look at the Magami Four.

Then he says that the A!Parents had to die. We see close ups of Aoi (Shocked-Disgusted), Kyouichi (Pissed), Daigo (Shocked) and Komaki (Disgusted-Pissed). Kaosu is like "OOPS DID I SAY SOMETHING TO MAKE YOU MAD?" and he's smiling and acting like a complete dick. He starts laughing.

Cut back to the Magami Four. Daigo comments that he doesn't have a heart.

Kaosu continues talking, and Komaki gets pissed. Like, she drops Anko on the floor. She starts screaming at Kaosu. Aoi tries to calm her down, and Komaki tells her to shut up. Komaki screams that she's going to kill him (Kaosu). This sets off St. Aoi's "PROTECT EVERYONE" trigger, prompting her to bitchslap Komaki. Twice. They start arguing, while EH!Hiyuu pulls himself up to look Kaosu in the face. Kyouichi puts himself between Komaki and Aoi then yells at EH!Hiyuu, who appears to be three seconds away from ripping Kaosu limb from limb.

EH!Hiyuu and Kaosu look each other in the eye. Kyouichi's still all "DON'T DO IT!" as EH!Hiyuu stands up. EH!Hiyuu kicks Kaosu's wheelchair over, and the sad, violin version of the theme song begins to play. Daigo and Kyouichi charge at EH!Hiyuu to stop him, he goes Super Saiyan and knocks them away, knocking a bunch of pews away as well. I am unsure of the state of Sagaya.

He pulls back his fist, about to punch Kaosu. Kaosu continues to smile up at him. Kyouichi pulls himself out of the wreckage and yells for EH!Hiyuu to stop.

EH!Hiyuu has a flashback of A!Dad telling him he has the power to protect. His hand shakes, but he still has his crazed eyes. But when he hears his A!Mom call him "Hi-chan" his eyes change and he starts to cry. He pulls his fist back and goes in to punch Kaosu, and we cut to Daigo and Kyouichi who looked shocked. I don't know why, we've seen this particular thing happen several times in the past: Hiyuu punches at someone but doesn't actually connect. He stops just before hitting Kaosu. EH!Hiyuu, who is sitting on top of Kaosu, starts crying. He lets out a pitiful scream, and clutches his head. He continues to scream/cry, but...! BUT!! His emo!hoodie falls off! Kaosu pulls himself up and asks what's wrong. We get an exterior shot of the church as we fade into the ending theme. A red comet falls in the sky.

Next episode shot:
We see a rather flamboyant looking gun, some strange looking bullets, and the foot the Medical Examiner was talking to in Episode one of this season. I suppose the gun is indicative of Alan actually doing something.

This may be late, but I actually like the new OP. I am, like many of you here, a fan of Linkin Park. However sometimes I find Chester Bennett's "screaming" a little annoying. The 1st OP's "time to die" scream makes me skip the OP sequence.

This new OP is little more mellow and softer. I like that in an alt rock song.

This episode is about "Truth"
Lots of revelations here. Lots and lots.

This episode is pretty bloody. Collectively, I think its worse than the rest of the series combined. The Zombies in the first episode didn't count, really.

Hiyuu is no longer EH!Hiyuu.

Basically, the gist of the episode is that Hiyuu is pushing Ryuuji around to show him all sorts of things about being human and having friends and all that. Kyouichi is tagging along. Among their stops are the Drag Queen House, the Clinic, the Medical Examiner's Office, the Ramen House (which has been renamed Tatsuma <3 Crea; Marie wants to make sure that Hiyuu is enjoying his strawberry ramen. Yuck, that sounds about as bad as the Red Lantern's Banana Ramen), and so forth and so on. Aoi, Komaki and Daigo are all kinda pissy that Hiyuu's being so nice to Ryuuji.

Our other storyline is about the Medical Examiner, his brother, and The Detective. The Detective and The Brother were partners a long time ago. They were chasing a suspect with The Brother is attacked. The Brother was bitten on the neck and screams that it was a monster. He manages to survive, but was taken to the hospital where he bit a nurse and transformed into a strangely plant-like monster in front of the Medical Examiner, who was but a child then. The Detective and the !ChildMedicalExaminer escape to the roof of the hospital, but are pursued by the ever growing army of vampires. The Detective puts his gun to !ChildMedicalExaminer's head, to save him from such a fate, but the sun comes up and destroys all the vampires. Except for the foot of The Brother.

So, that's why the Medical Examiner had the Foot he called "Brother" in previous episodes.

Basically, the Medical Examiner and The Detective have been plotting their revenge, hunting down the vampire that bit The Brother. They even made a special gun with special bullets.

So who is this vampire? Maria Alucard, of course! One night at Magami, Maria is walking through the hall when The Detective starts talking to her. She turns into Vampire mode, which looks really lame (her eyes turn red and she gets veiny things on her face). He's about to shoot her when BAM her arm is blown off by the Medical Examiner. V!Maria flies at the ME to attack him, but misses and jumps out the window and into the courtyard.

Spoiler for Cap - She does look kinda cool when she attacks the ME:

Outside, they take several shots at her, blowing off her leg, putting several holes in her torso, and so forth. This segment would have been more fun if it weren't so pathetic on her part. Like, if we had seen her actually do something really dangerous, or turn into a monster or something. Instead, we see a woman running away and getting blown to pieces.

Marie collapses, and the Hunters close in. Just as the ME is about to take the final shot, a mysterious image flies in and knocks him over, destroying the gun. WHO COULD THIS MYSTERIOUS PERSON BE? We see a be-shadowed Inugami holding blown!Maria. Inugami's eyes are red. The ME is determined to kill Maria and Inugami, but Inugami is like, so much stronger than him, so he goes in for the kill. Inugami's magical claw of weirdly multiplying claws goes straight through the ME's body, coming out his back. Then we see blood splatter all over the ME's face. HEY WAIT A MINUTE BLOOD PHYSICS DON'T WORK THAT WAY! The Detective had jumped in front of him at the last second, taking the possibly fatal blow instead.

Because the elderly detective is somehow quicker than Inugami. Right.

Spoiler for Cap - Inugami's claws are weird:

Iwayama and Maiko are watching things from the top of a building. Characters do that a lot in this show, don't they? Because of this, it is unknown whether or not the Detective and Maria are actually going to die, or if Maiko is just going to heal the mind of the ME.

Spoiler for Cap - That being said, Maria is in pretty bad shape. Caution: Gore:

Hiyuu is bringing Ryuuji something out in the country. This... this seems like the place that Sayo lived, right? I can't remember. Anyway, Hiyuu gives Ryuuji some Strawberry Juice. Ryuuji gets pissed, and Hiyuu is happy that Ryuuji can have such emotions. By the way, the sky is filled with comets. SOMETHING MYSTERIOUS MUST BE ABOUT TO HAPPEN.

The Yellow Dragon symbol flashes, then the comets start spinning around in the sky, like a wheel. Everyone starts grabbing their heads in pain. Everyone's lines go off, including, surprisingly, Ryuuji's, Alan's, Marie's and the Ramen Guy's. We haven't seen any of their lines before, so this is new. Sera's also goes off, and it seems that only those with power are effected because the guys around Sera seem puzzled.

The eyes of the statues at Magami start glowing red.

Hiyuu announces his coming: Yagyuu... Munetake! Yagyuu is floating in the air in front of Hiyuu and Ryuuji.

What else? Oh yeah, Kisaragi isn't dead. But you knew that.

Finally caught up on the series. Man, this series is getting pretty good. That Chaos guy is no annoying. Someone needs to beat the crap out of him. I guess they did a good job choosing the VA for Chaos. His voice and face are just annoying.
