his body isnt human flesh its some sort of super flexiable polyuraethynel uber rubber thats immune to damage, he just moans and bleeds alot to make it more interesting.

Pretty much just a rain of light jabs, otherwise Ichigo would've been blow back more in that flurry of blows (or any single one of them). I think it was more like getting a million painful slaps =P

well, if we purely stick to shonen.. based on the fights ichi's lost , the way he looked back at him losing and orihime being swatted away by Yami and seeing Rukia being impaled by grimm + the desperate will to protect all his friends from harm..

He should've gone Super Vaizard level 5, utterly destroy Grimm with just a dirty look, merge with Chad and destroy all of huece mundo by now..

That, or he just hasn't got anything to damage..

Funniest part is after Grimmjow punched Ichigo and sent him flying, Grimjow slowly walking towards Ichigo while in the background you still hear Ichigo slamming into things.

well i doubt anyone can do that much with each punch being so freaking hard..That speed and that hard? nahh...

Simple, its not his REAL body. He left that in his room IIRC. Its only his soul getting punched

Nope Injuries inflicted on soul are directly proportional to the body . How do I know this Ep 114 14.33 onwards

I was really dissapointed that i did'nt get to watch the hollow side of Ichigo battle Grimmjaw.He would have really taught him a lesson.All in all that made the episode leave me a little hollow

wait does that mean when kon is inside Ichigo's body, kon also gets beaten up and feels the pain?

Didnt seem like that when Kon was in ichi's body when fighting Grand Fisher back in the early eps lol

Naah when Ichi's soul does enter his body the damage is transferred to his body . Or how else could you explain Ichi in bandages too in ep 114 after his soul only suffered damage from Yami

Yeah, the way injuries are transfered from Soul -> Body is a weird one to me. I guess the injuries to the Soul are transfered to the Body only once he re-enters his body. Anyway, I guess it is something that isn't touched on to deeply or it would probably lead to a few to many complexities or contradictions. I would hazard a guess by saying that wounds to the Soul are possibly more superficial/heal faster when transfered to the Body (unless in an environment rich with Soul particles like SS), so the need for the bandages is more just to support/hide bruises, and/or give the image that he just had the $hit kicked out of him.

Just my thoughts on it, would be nice to see something concrete though. I cant remember if wounds were covered in an earlier chapter/episode or not.

I think it's not really that the damage is transferred, it's more like a psychosymatic thing: Ichigo thinks he is feeling pain, so he has to use a bandage, while in reality the body itself is still okay. Well, actually his body is a dead body, so there can't really be any wounds, because they wouldn't heal.

The more likely scenario is that Ichigo enjoys bandages over his body since he practices martial arts of various sorts in his house

Well, even light japs push you back. You have never been hit in the face, right? (boxing for example)

I have, but mostly I just flopped back on my own instinctively because I heard my nose go "crunch", not like there was actually enough momentum in the jab actually knock me around.

Awsome all the way around for sure. Animation, fights, suspense with a dash of comedy.. Mizuho is really purdy, when she isn't all psycho. Love when Ikkaku pulls out the wooden sword and mutters I am not bald, Keigo is like oh shit.
I have a little more respect for Renji after seeing him totally obliterate his Arrancar adversary with one big ass blast, that was sweet. To me it seems once the restriction was lifted it was no challenge for the good guys really, they dispatched them pretty handily, I mean aside from Hitsugaya getting injured it wasn't much of an issue. All this done by 1 captain, 3 vice captains and Rukia, if the rest of the Arrancar brood are like these guys, I'm pretty sure the rest of the 13 squads won't have much of a problem. Then again there is still mister Jaggerjack along with Aizen, Tousen and Gin, which right there may be trouble enough to take down the squads, not to mention we havn't seen the rest of the baddies yet.
Looks like in the preview Ishida is finally getting back into the frey, and Ichigo has a little heart to heart with the Viazards, should be intresting, hopefully Ichi can harness his inner hollow's powers. Boy does he need too, there is no way in his current state he can beat Grimmjow, using his uber powers only makes Hichigo come out faster, and even Ichigo said theres no way that alone would beat him, great fight scenes though between the two. Now that I think of it, I can't imagine Grimm's altered state, I'm sure it will be a monster.
Now Grimm has to face the music with Aizen, Tousen said he was furious with him, but he seemed pretty calm back in Hueco Mundo, then again Aizen is always level headed, I don't even think I've ever seen him lose his cool or get visibly upset.
Some last thoughts, I just love the opening song, the ending song isn't bad but the opening is sweet. Also does anyone really know what Matsumoto's Shikai or Bankai does, her sword turns to what looks like dust. Is it something like Byakuya's Bankai where he controls all petals/blades, not really sure what hers does. Golden was hillarious I thought, who woulda known Hanatarou's powers transformed his Zanpaktou into a death dealing scalpel, nice attack though unleashing all the wounds it stored up lol.

Rangiku's shikai has been revealed in the Bountu Arc . It was obvious what her shikai was from KiraVsRangiku but it was revealed in the Bountu Arc how it works
